Third Person's POV
"Okay. This should be her place." Frank said looking at the file.
"You guys should probably wait outside." Aether said.
"I'm not leaving you with her alone." Jason said coldly.
"You're never gonna forgive me are you?" Aether said softly, and Jason didn't say anything.
"Come on." Percy answered.
The sight of eleven boys behind one boy in front of a dorm room door in a crowded hallway is really odd. The fact that it's a girls dorm add to the pile.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
A shuffle was heard from inside the dorm and the door opened to show a blonde girl with a pair of green eyes.
"Oui? Puis-je vous aider?" She said. "Uh. Sorry. How may I help you?" She repeated with a thick French accent.
"It's me." Aether simply said.
"Do I know you?" She asked nervously.
"You sure look like you do when you were sticking your tongues into each other's throats." Jason snapped.
"Remember what we said about subtle?" Luke said.
"He needs to cool off." Travis said.
"You need to cool off." Connor said.
"Let's go." Nico mumbled before dragging Jason out. "Look. I love Reyna just as much as you do, but can't just........" He whispered as they left the crowd.
"Sticking down-" She shook her head. "I don't understand."
"We saw you and this guy kissing about a week ago? Halloween party?" Frank said.
"I don't celebrate Halloween party..?" She said.
"You are Genevieve Altier, right?" Thomas said.
"That's me." She nodded.
"But you weren't at a Halloween party?" Chris said.
"I don't think so." She chuckled.
"So you weren't kissing with this guy?" Leo said pointing at Aether and Aether rolled his eyes.
Genevieve raised an eyebrow and scoffed.
"Sorry, but he's not exactly my type." She scoffed.
"Oh- Wait what." Aether said. "What do you mean I'm not your type?"
"I'm not exactly interested in boys-"
"What?" Aether said. "Boys that are charming? Nice? Amazingly good looking?"
"Boys." Genevieve repeated. "I'm not exactly interested in boys."
"Uh..." The boys simultaneously said.
"That's my girlfriend." She pointed to a blonde girl talking to a brunette, handing her a handful of waddled up clothes to a brunette that looked exactly the same. "The blonde one. The brunette is her twin."
"Are they both-" Connor said before Percy smacked him upside the head.
Genevieve laughed and shook her head slightly.
"I'm a lesbian." She said. "Isabella is Bisexual, Gabriella is straight."
"Oh." Travis said."
"If that is all gentlemen-" Genevieve said. Her hand held on to the frame of the door as she looked out to Isabella once again.
Frank's eyes glanced to her hand. Her ink-less, mark-less, tattoo-less hand. She smiled at the boys before closing her door shut.
"I don't-" Aether said.
"Something's weird. Guys." Percy said.
"Hi." A voice said.
A pair of twins stood in front the pair of 'twins'.
"We've never met another pair of twin transfers." Isabella said.
"Are you guys new?" Gabriella said.
"Um-" The Stolls said.
"They talk the same!" Isabella and Gabriella exclaimed before laughing.
"Isabella." She said, stretching her hand out to Travis.
"Gabriella." The brunette said, stretching her hand out to Connor.
They shook hands, and crossed to shake the other.
"Travis. He's Connor." Travis said.
"And we're not twins. Not really." Connor said.
"Oh." Isabella said. "How is that?"
"Well. He's a couple of months younger." Travis nudged his head to Connor.
"Oh." Gabriella said. "And where are you guys from?"
"New York?" The Stolls said.
"Oh." Isabella said. "I thought you guys were transfers."
"All of you from New York?" Gabriella asked as she looked at the others behind the Stolls.
"Well he looks down right New York." Isabella pointed at Percy. "Hey." She winked.
"Married." Percy showed her his ring. "Sorry." He said. Gabriella opened her mouth and scoffed in amusement.
"Good to know." Gabriella said, her lips curled up in a smile.
"Forgive him. Bad history with girls." Frank said, glancing at Percy.
"Canadian." Isabella said. "Definitely Canadian." She grinned at Frank. "I know my own people!"
"Frank." Frank said.
"Nice to meet you." The twins said.
"Well." Percy said. "Percy. Luke, Chris, Charles, Leo, Thomas, and Aether." He pointed as the all waved hi.
"Aether?" Isabella said. "You're Greek right? You've got to be."
"That I am." Aether answered.
"Αγαπό τίν Ελλάδα." Gabriella said. (I love Greece.)
"Ω, μιλάς Ελληνικά;" Chris said. (Oh, you speak Greek?)
"Πρώην φίλος της ήταν Ελληνικά." Isabella said. (Her ex-boyfriend was Greek.)
"Δικά σας και εγώ;" Beckendorf said. (Yours too?)
"Ένα χρόνο στο ξεωτερικό στην Ελλάδα." The twins said. (A year abroad in Greece.)
"Cool." Thomas answered.
"Do you all speak Greek?" Isabella said.
"Mostly. Yeah." Leo said.
"Any other languages?" Gabriella asked.
"Chinese, Roman, Spanish, British." Leo pointed at Frank, Frank, himself, and Thomas.
"British is not a language." Thomas said.
"Dude. I don't even understand half the things you say." Leo said.
"Well I don't understand most of the things you say." Thomas said.
"And Italian." Jason called, pointing at Nico, who was walking next to him, hand in his pocket.
"We were waiting...?" Nico said as he walked and stopped next to Percy.
"Isabella and Gabriella." Travis said.
"Isabella, is, well." Connor said. "Genevieve's girlfriend."
Nico smiled and chuckled knowingly. He bit his lip and stretched his hand out to Isabella.
"The Panthera Rave." Nico said, and Isabella's eyes widened as she grinned.
"Blackout. Soda cannons." Isabella said. "That was you!"
"You know each other?" Gabriella asked.
"Rave." They both said.
"Jason." Jason said, stretching his hand out to Gabriella.
"Nice ink." Gabriella said to Jason. "I have one too."
"Oh?" Jason said, as he showed her is SPQR tattoo. She smiled and showed him her tattoo.
A letter G on her wrist.
"Where'd you get yours?" Gabriella asked.
"An old, um, friend." Jason said. "Yours?"
"Party." She shrugged. "It's new."
"Oh." Jason forced a smile.
"Well. Excuse us ladies, but we really should get going." Percy said.
"Well. It was nice to meet you." Isabella and Gabriella said simultaneously.
"Nice to meet you too." The Stoll said.
The guys walked out the girls dorm, and went to their cars. The moment Aether's car, Luke's car, and Frank's car drove out of the university, the video call went straight up.
"No." Aether said, the moment the call went online.
"But Aether." Chris said. "It makes sense."
"It makes no sense." Percy exclaimed.
"So the blonde hair was Isabella, the French accent was Genevieve, and the tattoo was Gabriella." Luke listed.
"If the hair was Isabella's, then the picture of Genevive wasn't supposed to be blonde. But it was." Leo said.
"You're saying the picture was altered?" Thomas said.
"Why would it be altered?" Frank said.
"Are you guys missing the point?" Aether said.
"The woman you kissed is a mixture of 3 women, we get it-" Luke said. "And Percy's right. She's not a woman."
Aether groaned really really loud and banged his head unto the steering wheel. The guys in his car looked a bit scared at the fact that he was no longer driving, but then they remembered he was magic.
Suddenly, a phone rang and turns out it was Percy's. Usually, the phone call synced automatically to the car, but then again it wasn't Percy's car.
"Hello?" Percy said.
"Percy? It's Reyna." Reyna said from over the phone.
"Reyna? What's up?" Percy asked.
"Reyna?!" Aether looked up and exclaimed. "Why is she calling you?!"
Percy shushed Aether from over the video call, as Luke minimized the screen and slid the screen over to Chris, who was riding shotgun.
"Percy. There's a bank at the mall that had just been entered by a couple of idiots. Normally I'd ask Aether, but I don't know-" She sighed. "I think you should go alone though. Too much Chaos will be, well, Chaos."
"Oh sure." Percy said. "Get me my suit and I'll zap out."
"Well I can't." Reyna said. "I'll get Cal- CALYPSO!"
Percy heard a couple of chatter from the other side of the phone. On his side though, the other side on his side through the video, Aether was asking questions non stop.
"H-hey, Reyna?" Percy said. "Can you tell Calypso to-"
The suit appeared on his lap before he sighed. Nico looked over and laughed.
"Can you tell Calypso to zap it on me?" Percy asked.
"Sure thing Percy!" Calypso yelled from the background and in the count of seconds, he was in his cloak.
"Okay." Percy said as he turned off his phone. "You guys get home, and don't turn on the TV."
"You can't go alone." Luke said as he stepped on the gas pedal.
"Yes I can." Percy said.
"You can't." Jason sang out.
"Watch me." He said before he poofed out.
"Perc- Aba- GAH." Luke hit the steering wheel in anguish. "I'm not explaining this to Annabeth!" He exclaimed.
"Well somebody has to." Frank chirped out.
"No." The Stolls yelled together.
"I'll do it." Thomas said.
"You'll tell her?" Leo said. "What are you, stupid?"
"No I'm not gonna tell her." Thomas said. "At least not until she asks."
"Okay." Beckendorf said. "That means we don't tell our girlfriends anything. And don't turn on the TV."
The three cars pulled into the driveway as the boys slowly and carefully crept their way into the house.
"Hey babe." Piper waved at Jason. "Where's Percy?"
Piper, Thalia, and Alex was sitting on the couch together, legs tangled, all around, with bags of chips all around. Thalia was clicking away on the remote, and Alex was not paying attention at all.
"Um." Jason said.
"Something with Poseidon." Thomas said.
"Really?" Alex said. "He'd just called-"
"Really?" Nico said, his teeth clenched closed. "Well."
"So." Thalia got up. "Did you find her?"
"That is exactly what we wanted to talk about!" Luke said, as he swiftly took the remote out of Thalia's hand and turned the tv off.
The rest of the guys slowly walked away until only Luke, Nico, Jason, and Aether was left.
'I'll look for Calypso.' Leo mouthed.
'I'll go find Annabeth.' Thomas said, as the guys shooed them away, and nodded vigorously.
"So." Nico said. "Turns out Genevieve is pitching for the other team."
Alex choked and spluttered. Thalia slipped, but fortunately, Luke was there to catch her.
"Shut. Up." Piper said. "No way!" She yelled. "SHUT UP!"
Luke squinted at her and made a series of hand gestures. Thalia looked at him and rolled her eyes, smiling nevertheless.
"He just signed 'I didn't say anything!'." Thalia said.
"You sign?" Jason said.
Luke signed the letters ASL, and waited for Thalia to translate, but to his surprise, it was Nico who did.
"ASL. American Sign Language." Nico said. "I know the Italian one. Not that much different."
"You both sign?" Aether asked. "Why?"
"Because, when I was twelve, I met this deaf girl on a train, and she taught me. A bit. I kinda learned the rest on my free time." Luke said.
"Did he mention he was in love with her?" Thalia smirked.
"Thalia, I. Was. Twelve." Luke said.
"Oh come on." Thalia said. "The first thing you wanted to learn was how to sign I love you!"
"She taught me! I didn't ask!" Luke said.
"Whatever Luke." Thalia said.
"And you?" Piper asked Nico.
"Reasons." Nico shrugged.
"Okay. Let's go back to the woman." Jason said.
"Yeah." Luke said. "The thing is. The woman that kissed Aether, well, is not a woman."
And with this, Aether groaned.
"Blonde, tattoo, and French accent." Jason said.
"The blonde hair belonged to Isabella, who is Genevieve's girlfriend." Nico said.
"Which reminds me." Aether said. "How do you know Isabella?"
"A rave." Nico sighed, glancing at Alex who was blinked. "A rave for, well-"
"Oh..." Everyone chorused.
"Where was this blackout think, and there was this soda cannon game thing, and yeah well, I met her." Nico said.
"What on earth were you doing at a-" Alex said. "Um. Rave."
"In my defense, I did not do the blackout. I thought it was something paranormal, but turns out the soda spilled at the laser beams and, well. That's that." Nico mumbled. "But I did find a really, really, really, really drunk son of Apollo."
"Well." Luke said. "The more you know."
"Anyway." Aether said.
"Yeah. The blonde hair is Isabella's. The tattoo though, is Gabriella's. Isabella's twin." Jason said.
"There's two of 'em?" Thalia asked.
"Uh huh." Luke said. "The French is of course, Frenchie herself."
Upstairs though, Annabeth was on the fourth floor training with Calypso. Thomas walked into the room, and observed her for a bit. She did a twist and jab and slash, as if she was trying to make a Nyx kebab. Calypso was observing her too. Very closely as she demonstrated all the things Calypso probably needs if the cases of no magic ever happened.
Leo came in with Thomas, but was soon quickly distracted by the fact that a glass case for legend sword was missing a door.
"Hey Repair Boy." Calypso said.
"Yeah, Cal, I'll talk to you later." Leo said, his eyes not leaving the glass cabinet. He took out a meter and started measuring the width and length of the cabinet.
"Hey." Annabeth panted, a bit out of breath. "Where's Percy?"
"Poseidon, thing." Thomas lied, terribly I might add.
"Okay... What's he really doing?" Annabeth questioned.
"Um-" Thomas mumbled. He glanced at Calypso and begged a bit with his eyes. She gave him a look of uncertainty and bit her lip.
"Thomas..." Annabeth threatened.
At the same time downstairs though.
"Here's what I don't get." Piper said. "The files. That means it's fake. Somebody wanted us to think that the Genevieve kissed Aether, is well, Genevieve."
"The real one." Thalia said.
"Why?" Alex said. "I don't-"
Suddenly, the TV turned on, the the first thing they saw and heard was Breaking News.
"Commander Alpha was spotted alone. Whatever could the reason be for the entire army to Leave their leader alone, and with no help. The situation has escalated so quickly, as the presumed robbery had placed the entire Westfield San Fransisco Center on lock down."
The news echoed around the house, and every demigod, both the ones who know and the ones who don't-
Especially the ones who don't, was surprised.
"Tell me he isn't there." Annabeth said. "Thomas. Tell me he isn't-"
Thomas flinched away, as Annabeth made a dash for the cloak room.
"Lieutenant Beta. Checking storage. Which suits are missing?" Annabeth said.
"Alpha." Euclid said.
"Checking out Be-"
"Calypso." Thomas said. "Lock her in her room." He commanded. "N O W."
"Calyp-"
"I'm sorry Annabeth." Calypso moved her hand as a blue wisp of smoke engulfed Annabeth and took her to her room.
"Shit." Alex yelled as she fell of the couched and immediately got up. Nico, Jason, Luke, and Aether shared a look which the girls caught.
"You did not!" Alex yelled. "You let him go alone?!"
"I told him he shouldn't. I told him!" Luke yelled.
"In my defense, he said he could take care of it!" Jason said, as they all started running to the fourth floor.
"And since when is the news broadcasted around the house?!" Nico yelled. "'M talkin' to you Euclid!"
"It's a special feature Ms. Ramírez-Arellano installed." The computer said.
"You. Are. Kidding." Aether said, as he zapped himself in front of the cloak vault door. "Psi."
"Omega." Reyna yelled from a few feet back behind Aether, at the same time.
"Checking out all the suits." They said at the same time, before sharing a look, raising an eyebrow. "Except for Beta."
They said as they turned and looked at each other again. Reyna shrugged and Aether gave her a small pitiful smile.
"And Rho." Thomas blurted out, and he immediately turned to Sophie. "You're gonna be okay?"
"Of course." Sophie said.
"Calypso. Take off your magic as you go, okay?" Thomas said and she nodded.
Reyna showed off her magic zapped everyone into their suit.
"Since when can you two access the cloak unit?" Hazel asked immediately.
"Commander override." Aether said. "Anytime the commander is incapable of being present due to he, himself being in a situation. We are allowed to access it."
"Any situation?" The Stolls asked, as Bianca and Katie smacked both of them upside the head.
"Not that kind of situation!" They yelled.
"GO!" Alex screamed as she was the first to teleport her was out.
Everyone quickly zapped out, and also at this moment, the magical border covering Annabeth's door and windows disappeared.
Annabeth let out a series of swear words as she ran downstairs to the fourth floor.
"Euclid!" Annabeth yelled.
All the doors opened up to her, and the moments she saw Thomas, she was beyond infuriated.
"You!" Annabeth growled. "I can't believe-"
"I can't let you go." Thomas said.
"Watch me." Annabeth said. "Lieutenant Beta, checking out Beta."
"Override." Thomas said.
"Override override." Annabeth said.
"Under the cases of what?" Euclid said.
"I'm Alpha's second. I have the right to have my suit out without Rho getting in my way." Annabeth spat out.
"Override the Lieutenant's override." Thomas said.
"ON WHAT?!" Annabeth yelled.
"On the cases that I'm the house physician!" Thomas yelled back. "I have final say on who goes and who doesn't."
Anger was burning in Annabeth's eyes, as she breathed very deeply.
"I am the leader on this house. I-"
"You. Are. PREGNANT." Thomas yelled and Annabeth looked take aback. "I don't care if you won't believe it. I don't care if you're strong enough. I. Don't. Care, if you are the leader of this house. Hell. I don't care if you're gonna be the first female president of America. As long as they don't need you, you and your suit is going nowhere."
Annabeth had murder in her eyes. Every single move she contemplated involved killing Thomas at the end. Then she realized, that well, she had become ridiculously violent. Maybe she is pregnant. Because something is definitely making her unstable.
Her phone suddenly rang and it was indeed Percy. She felt a bit of anger and a lot of relief.
"Percy." She exhaled. "Please tell me you're not still at the mall."
"Okay." Percy said. "I'm not still at the mall."
"You're lying aren't you." Annabeth said.
"Yeah." Percy said.
"Why would you go alone?!" Annabeth yelled.
"I had it covered!" Percy said.
"You should've told me! You can't hide things from me Percy, we're married!" Annabeth yelled.
"I know, I know." Percy said. "I'm never going to keep secrets from you. Never again. You're right, we're married. No secrets."
The moment these words left Percy's mouth, Annabeth's stomach dropped and it felt as if she was having another morning sickness.
Maybe she was.
"Still on lockdown?" Annabeth asked, a bit calmer this time.
"Sorry honey." Percy said.
"The guys?" Annabeth said.
"The evil guys or guys, our guys?" Percy said.
"The robbers." Annabeth said flatly.
"Nothing we can't handle." Percy said.
"Anything dangerous?" Annabeth said.
"Try everything." Percy said. "Bombs. But we have Leo and Beck. We also have panicking humans. As always. A couple of people got knocked out trying to take of the hoods. Nothing that dangerous"
"Okay." Annabeth mumbled. "Promise me you'll be safe."
"I-" Percy said. "NO!"
And the line went dead.
"Percy?" Annabeth screamed. "Percy?! Percy?!"
"W-what happened?" Thomas said.
"I-i don't-" Annabeth already has tears on the brim of her eyes. "I don't know."
