July 8th, 3017, Philadelphia, Germanic division of America.

They had come centuries ago, but in peace, they had not. They had only brought with them hatred, war, and chaos. And yet... they were treated as if they were the victims. In the eyes of the world, they could do no wrong. Because the world was blind.

But Victor Hanson was not blind. He saw through their deception, as if it was nothing more than a thin layer of glass. And like glass, he had shaped his destiny into shattering their world before them. Not a day passed in Victor's life, where he wondered if it would be his last.

Every time he opened his eyes, he was taking a gamble with life. The Keenites may have held the world in an iron grip, but people were waking up, day after day. He had a huge online presence. He was lucky he hadn't been doxxed. He was well known for posting accurate, and very detailed information about those monsters.

Victor averted his gaze to his pet crow, Fleck, as he perched atop the chair across the table from him. Fleck was the only family Victor had.

A sudden crash against the door told him the day had come. Two or three more hard hits on the door, and it flew open. Government thugs spilled into the apartment.
