Chloe's POV:
"CHOLE!! WAKE UP!" is what I woke up to that morning.
I groaned and got out of bed. When I pinned my hair up into a messy bun and replaced my pjs for a black t-shirt and skinny jeans I stumbled down stairs.
I came down to my mom throwing her phone onto the couch. She placed her hands over her eyes and sighed.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Your father. He won't take you to his this weekend when I'm gone." she muffled from through her hands.
My parents have been divorced for about 7 years now. My mom is going on a business trip and won't understand that I'm 17!!
"Mom!! I'm 17!! I can take care of myself!!" I complained
"Right. But you need to spend time with him. This is the last couple month you will be able to see us regularly." she answered. "not that he even cares." she mumbled standing up.
"I'll just stay at Connors and hang with dad on the weekend. problem solved."
"fine." she said and kissed my cheek "I'll get home about 7:30, have a nice day." then she walked out the door.
I grab my phone and backpack and go to school.
On the way to school I surfed through the radio and land on Drag Me Down by One Direction. I sing loud and once the song is over I turn of the radio and the car is silent.
I get to school and run up the stairs into the large building.
"Aye Clo!" Connor yells
"Hey!" I yell back
"Wanna be in my video tonight? I really don't have anything to do. help me with ideas?"
"Of course!" I say in a high pitch voice.
We quickly do our handshake knowing the bell will rings soon. We fist bump then pull in for a hugs followed by a high-five from under our legs. Once we finish the bells rings just as we predicted.
"Bye! See you in Science!" I call from behind my back.
"Adiós!!" he yells back.
