Julissa POV:
Me and the girls woke up around 7. I did my daily hygiene and was currently curling my hair. My phone was lighting up. I looked at it to see me and D's selfie, it was so cute. He had his arm around me making a crazy face and I had my lips puckered. It read Husband😍🙌🏽💍 across the top. I answered the FaceTime call.
"Yes?" I sang.
"Goodmorning gorgeous." I smiled at his fineness.
"Goodmorning handsome."
"What you doing," it looked like he was walking.
I turned my camera to my hair tools. "In a process. Where you going?"
"Oh. Hurry up. We're walking to the breakfast hall to eat and await information about today. I was making sure you were up."
"Well they're waiting on me, I'm just finishing up."
"Okay babe. See you in a minute."
"Okay." I hung up the call.
I finished my hair and then we walked out.
•In the Duke Boys room•
They were watching SportsNation and waiting on a few guys to get finished so they could head to breakfast.
"Aye bro" Amile called to Justise.
"Wassup" Justise replied.
"This would be totally breaking bro code if I didn't report this to you. But the boy Oubre seemed to be feasting over TJ yesterday at the pool." Amile said.
"Man I noticed that too. He had that devious look in his face. You gotta watch those pretty boys that look like him." Jahlil said walking in.
"I wouldn't be surprised," Justise started. "He's been stalking her since we started dating. Everything from sliding in the DM's, texting her, comments, the whole nine yards."
"Aw man. Seems like we have our first problem guys." Amile breathed.
"I promise you this will be resolved during this trip. I don't like the feeling of having to watch some dude all the time over something that's already mine." Justise exclaimed.
Soon after, the boys were all ready and headed down to breakfast.
Kelly's POV:
I wondered if TJ likes the roses I got for her. Personally I wouldn't mind being her undercover until she finally let go of Justise's turtle ass. Me and the crew were on the way to the breakfast hall.
"So Kel you think your girl appreciates the roses?" Frank asked me.
"I hope so. It's just a minor step, though. Not even a quarter of what I have stored." I replied with a smirk.
•The Dining Hall•
TJ POV:
Me and the girls stepped into the room and made our way to our designated table. Then we were walking towards the food bar until I was grabbed.
"Morning babe." Kelly said pulling me into his lap and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Kelly stop, leave me alone. Let go of me." I said trying to get out of his grip, but it was too tight. I was definitely struggling.
"Did you like the roses? I could get more if that's what you want-" he started.
"No. Are you delusional? I know you see Justise and the boys walking in. Let me go now. I'm saving face."
"*chuckles* I don't care about them baby, it's me and you. Forget Justise and his posse. They ain't got nothing on us. I don't even know why you playing."
"Okay whatever. Let me go." I finally got out of his grip and quickly made my way over to the bar to get my food.
Returning to my seat. I sat down and looked up to the girls all looking at me.
"What?" I slightly yelled. "Let me use my senses, you guys saw Michael Ealy's lost little brother harassing me."
"Yeah," Jay started. "Not only us, that's not the reason for our expressions, but the guys saw it as well."
I palmed my face. Why.
I looked over at their table. They were talking. Anytime that they're the quietest, they're planning something. Other than that they're the most noticeable.
Justise POV:
This man thinks he's slick. I saw the entire thing. I know my girlfriend is beautiful but man, I didn't think it would come along with this many problems.
"Man so what we gonna do about him?" Amile asked
"Not much, we can't make it a much bigger problem than what it is, or the girls will notice. By then we would have created the biggest mess known to man." Jahlil reasoned.
"Or we can do about it quietly. Meaning we should approach his crew during our practices when the girls aren't around." Matt said.
"I'm with that," Tyus agreed.
We did our group handshake. I'm gonna put Oubre in his place.
No ones POV:
The coaches walked in.
"Good Morning everyone. Our first task is a charity. We will be visiting a group of kids at a gym here in Los Angeles. If you are a cheerleader, you will be leading a cheer camp; dancers, dance camps, and basketball, of course a camp for the youth. Now if everyone would dispose of trash and aboard the bus." Coach K said.
Everyone threw away their trash and headed outside.
Julissa POV:
Jade came up to Julissa and Cloe and whispered, "Who's that tall light skinned trophy over there.? With the tattoos. All that fineness."
I looked, then shook my head laughing.
"You're interested in Willie? He's so trill." I replied.
"Y'all help a sista out. He is oh so cute." Jade said.
"Boys respect you more if you come on to them. How about this, you make small talk with him and then let it evolve, okay?" I told Jade.
"That's cool, I'll do that" she said.
TJ POV:
I had caught up with the crew and took Justise's hand. He looked down and kissed my forehead.
"Hey babe." He started.
"Hey," I returned.
"You know I saw Kelly, right?"
"Yeah. He is such a dork."
"I want him to keep his hands off. Just let me know if he becomes too much of a problem? Okay."
"I will babe and he better or he won't have any more hopes in balling."
Justise laughed.
I saw a similar figure. I screamed and ran towards it.
"Karl!" I jumped on him.
"TJ! Aw, man. What's good girl?" Karl said excitedly.
Karl-Anthony Towns. My best friend from way back. He's the sweetest guy ever, seriously. Anytime I needed something he was there. So was his family. They basically made me a part of them. But when I left for Duke we basically lost connection. I'm so glad he's here though. A lot of catching up to do.
"I'm great! How about you, Mr Kentucky?"
"I'm awesome! Even better now that I have my best friend back."
I smiled. But then I remembered Justise. He was standing there the whole time. I grabbed him and brought him to us.
"This is my awesome boyfriend, Justise." I introduced.
They shook hands.
"I've seen and heard much about you. You're an awesome player. Very talented." Karl complimented.
"Thanks man. Likewise." Justise returned.
"She hasn't been giving you problems has she?" Karl said referring to me.
"Not anything I couldn't handle." Justise laughed.
Karl did the same. I'm just glad my boyfriend isn't the jealous type.
As they were talking I saw that Kacey girl slip something in D'Angelo's hand and winking. Isn't he with that weird girl Julissa?
I know a hoe when I see one. Even though I wasn't tight with Julissa, I wasn't going to let some snow cone come and try to take what's rightfully hers.
I knew what I had to do.
So this may be the beginning of TJ coming around😁
Justise isn't playing around with Kelly about TJ🌚 what do the guys have up their sleeves?
Julissa and D'Angelo may have a similar problem on their hands.....
