Taehyung and Jungkook were busy setting up the living room for what they hoped would be one of the most unforgettable nights of their lives. The apartment was quiet except for the soft rustling of gift wrapping and the occasional hum of excitement from Jungkook.
As he carefully placed the last ribbon on the two small boxes. The smell of freshly cooked dishes-Jimin's favorites-wafted through the air, blending with the warm glow of the candles they had lit across the room.
Each box contained a tiny blue onesie folded neatly beside a pregnancy test. One onesie was printed with the words "Hello Daddy," while the other said "Hi Daddy." The surprise was perfect, the culmination of their happiness and the news they had been bursting to share with Jimin.
"He's going to be so shocked," Jungkook murmured, his eyes glimmering with excitement as he set the boxes down on the dinner table.
Taehyung smiled softly, adjusting a few candles to make sure everything looked just right. "He'll be overwhelmed, no doubt. But in the best way possible." He rubbed his lower abdomen instinctively, feeling the faint but reassuring presence of the life growing inside him.
"I still can't believe we're both pregnant at the same time," Jungkook said, glancing over at Taehyung with a smile. "It feels like a dream."
"It's the best kind of dream," Taehyung replied, his eyes softening. "We've got everything we ever wanted."
Taehyung and Jungkook had taken a short leave from work, telling Jimin they needed a bit of rest after the excitement of their wedding. Of course, Jimin had agreed easily, never suspecting that they were secretly planning the most heartwarming surprise for his birthday.
"Do you think he'll cry?" Jungkook asked, stepping back to admire the beautifully set table.
Taehyung chuckled, nodding. "Knowing him, he'll definitely cry."
Jungkook glanced at his watch, his heart skipping a beat. "He should be home any minute now."
When Jimin stepped through the door that evening, he wasn't expecting anything beyond the usual cozy night with Taehyung and Jungkook. He was still basking in the joy of being newly married to the loves of his life. But the moment he walked into the living room, he froze in place, his breath catching in his throat.
The lights were dimmed, the table was set with candles, and soft music played in the background. The scent of freshly cooked food hit him, and his heart warmed as his gaze settled on Taehyung and Jungkook, who were standing there with the sweetest, most innocent smiles on their faces.
"Happy birthday, hyungie," Jungkook said softly, walking over to wrap his arms around Jimin's waist, his voice carrying a sweetness that made Jimin's heart swell.
"You two did all this?" Jimin asked, clearly taken aback as he glanced around the room, trying to take it all in. His eyes flickered over the perfectly arranged candles, the warm, inviting dinner laid out, and finally back to Taehyung and Jungkook, who looked as if they'd been planning this for days.
"Of course" Taehyung smiled, moving closer to kiss Jimin softly on the cheek. "We wanted to make tonight special for you" Taehyung said, fond eyes staring through Jimin.
"You didn't have to..." Jimin began, his voice faltering as emotion welled up inside him. "The presence of you both alone brings contentment to me" Jimin admits softly.
Jungkook shook his head, stepping back slightly but keeping his hand wrapped around Jimin's waist. "We wanted to. Because you deserve it"
Jimin took a deep breath, his heart overflowing with love for the two men standing in front of him. "You both are too good to me" he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
"We love you, hyungie" Taehyung said softly, his eyes shining as he took Jimin's hand and guided him to the dinner table. "Now come on, let's eat before the food gets cold"
The dinner was perfect. Jimin laughed and chatted with Taehyung and Jungkook, grateful for the quiet intimacy of the evening. But all throughout the meal, he couldn't shake the feeling that something else was going on, something they weren't telling him.
After they finished eating, Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged a glance before standing up together. "There's one more thing" Jungkook said, his voice barely above a whisper as he reached for the two small boxes they had placed on the table earlier.
Jimin blinked in surprise as they handed him the boxes. "What's this?" he asked, a curious smile playing on his lips as he carefully untied the ribbons.
"Open it, love" Taehyung said, his heart beating rapidly in his chest.
Jimin's hands trembled slightly as he opened the first box. Inside was a tiny blue onesie with "Hello Daddy" written on it, folded neatly beside a positive pregnancy test. He blinked, staring at the contents of the box for a few moments before his gaze flickered up to Taehyung and Jungkook.
He opened the second box, finding another onesie, this one reading "Hi Daddy"-along with another positive pregnancy test. Jimin's heart seemed to stop. His lips parted, but no words came out.
"Are you-?" His voice cracked, his eyes welling up with tears as the realization hit him like a tidal wave. "You're both... pregnant?"
Taehyung nodded, his own eyes filling with tears as he took Jimin's hand. "We're pregnant, hyungie."
Jungkook, his voice filled with emotion, whispered, "Both of us. You're going to be a dad, hyungie"
For a moment, Jimin couldn't move. The weight of the news was too much, his heart overflowing with emotions he could barely comprehend. And then the tears came-tears of overwhelming joy, of love, of gratitude. He pulled Taehyung and Jungkook into his arms, holding them tightly as his tears fell freely.
"I don't even know what to say," Jimin whispered, his voice trembling as he kissed the tops of their heads. "Thank you. Thank yo so much for this, my angels"
Taehyung and Jungkook laughed softly through their own tears, wrapping their arms around Jimin and holding him just as tightly.
"Do you wanna know how old, thess little bubbles are?" Taehyung askes, rubbing his stomach lightly.Jimin nodded his head, eager to know. "Of course baby, how old are they?" Jimin asks.
"I'm at 6 weeks now, while Taehyungie is at 5 weeks" Jungkook chuckles, "One week apart, probably because you released your seed in Kookie first that night" Taehyung joke shamelessly, Jungkook laughing along.
Jimin gasped, "Baby!" Jimin exclaimed as Taehyung flipped his imaginary hair.
Slowly, Jimin brought his hand to their tummies.Tenderly placing his palms, Jimin could felt a sense of living in it. "I hope they grow well" Jimin hinted on tone all affectious as he gently rubbed his angels belly.
Jimin couldn't stop himself from kissing them, his voice thick with emotion as he whispered endless thank-yous between kisses. He kissed their foreheads, their cheeks, and their lips, holding them close as if he never wanted to let go.
"You've made me the happiest man alive," Jimin whispered, his hands gently cupping their faces. "I promise I'll take care of you both, and our little ones. I love you more than I can ever say"
Taehyung and Jungkook giggled softly, their hearts swelling with love as they nestled into Jimin's embrace. They had never seen him so happy, so overcome with emotion, and it made everything feel even more perfect.
Jimin kissed them again, whispering, "I love you both so much."
The night ended with the three of them curled up together on the couch, Jimin's arms wrapped protectively around Taehyung and Jungkook as they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the beautiful future ahead.
