Johnnies pov
Since we had just moved in it wasn't really hard to get all our stuff together and get out of the house and we had already went to lunch and dropped max off now we're on our way to kittens house she said Payton and I could crash there for a few weeks while we try and find an apartment
"So are your parents going to be okay with this" I ask
"My dad will" kitten sighs
"Oh what about your-"she cuts me off
"I don't have one"she snaps
"I'm sorry" I mumble awkwardly
"I don't have a mommy either"Payton says quietly
I tense up and kitten sees and places one hand on my shoulder as I drive
"I'm sorry" she sighs
"It's fine" I mumble
"Daddy?" Payton asks
"Yes princess" I ask
"Are you okay?" She asks
"I'm fine I just wish you had your mommy she would understand this stuff more" I sigh pulling into the parking lot of kittens house
"Well we're here" kitten says awkwardly
"Come on pay" I sigh getting out and grabbing her
Kittens pov
I felt bad for snapping at johnnie and then Payton said that and now I feel worse
"Well we're here" I sigh wishing the awkwardness would go away
"Come on pay" johnnie says sighing and it breaks my heart but I get out of the jeep and take Payton from him and walk to the door
"DAD IM HOME" I yell
"IM IN THE BACK KITTY" I hear him yell from the lounge room in the back of the house and I start walking back there
"Dad this is Payton and johnnie they need a place to Crash his mom kicked them out " I say sadly
Dad looks shocked but shows johnnie
A sympathetic gaze
"Show them The guest rooms kitty I'll talk to you two later" he says looking at us
