Tiffany POV
"Where is she?" Dre ran in the house throwing his stuff on the ground. He ran upstairs to her room and I followed.
When I got up there I seen him standing over our sleeping daughter as the tears ran down his face.
He caressed her hair and kissed her repeatedly saying sorry as if it was his fault.
"Im so sorry babygirl." He kissed her cheek.
"Dre-"
"How could this happen Tiff?" He struggled with his words cutting me off.
"That's what I've been trying to find out actually. I mean what could our baby do to deserve this?"
"Nothing. She minds her business and stick to her books like I taught her to."
I folded my arms and leaned against the doorway.
"You know she told me that it could've have been that one of the girls was an ex or girlfriend of Nas and got jealous started it because of him."
I sighed and shook my head. I didn't want to think that he was the reason to this but I did wanted answers.
"That same lil nigga that had her in his room the other day?"
I nodded yes.
"I knew he wasn't no good. This is exactly why I wanted her to stay away from him. He's a player."
"Dre I don't think he's a player. I think he just got caught up."
"Caught up nothing. What did he have to say about all this anyways since he is the cause of it?"
We was just now leading Laurens room and entering ours.
"Well I couldn't tell you that because Lauren said after she was pulled away from the fight she looked up to see him holding the other girl, who I assume to be his girlfriend. But I'm not sure."
He shook his head and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Ima kill him."
"Now Dre wait a minute, we just have to figure out what to do." I sat down beside him.
"I wonder how Kyren feels about this." He mumbled.
I was soon starting to as well.
Lauren POV
I woke up to someone tapping my leg. Roughly at that. I looked up to see Kyren holding some pain relievers and a glass of water.
"Here take this." He handed it to me.
I sat up and took them and place the glass on my night stand. When I turned my attention back towards him he was staring at me with his hands in his pockets.
"What?"
"Who you fought today again?"
"Nicki, Samantha, and some other girl." I turned to my clock to see it was 12:43 in the morning.
"What was the real reason on why you fought them for?"
I looked him up and down. Why was he was questioning me?
"First of all they fought me and second I was going to walk away until one of them hoes pulled me back by my hair. Why are you making it seem like you defending them?"
"I'm not just trying to see what was the problem between yall and yall don't even know each other like that."
"They jealous ass bitches that's the problem."
I walked to the bathroom to see that some of the swelling went down due to all of the ice and I could barely feel anymore pain.
"Watch you mouth Ren. I'm not on their side I was just trying to get some answers which I think you're definitely giving to me."
"Well please tell me what they are?" I turned towards him with my arms folded.
"Nicki called me today and told me everything. She explained that she was just trying to figure out what's was going on between you and Nas. She said she seen the messages and even know what happened at some party you went to with them Richmond kids. She said her cousin, some nigga name Christian, told her what had went down between you and Nas. She said that you messing around with him."
"Ky, I'm not messing with him."
"I asked dad what happened that night you had got a whooping and he told me he found you in his room. Lauren wassup with you man, why you doing this?"
"Doing what? Okay I hung out with him but does that make me guilty in the situation. Was that worth me getting jumped on? Because if it was then I apologize for being happy once out of my whole 16 years Kyren." I said with tears falling out of my eyes.
"Why does messing around with a nigga gotta give you happiness? Lauren don't sit here and settle for number two when I know you could be number one in somebody else's eyes."
"And there's no way that could be Nas to you?" I rested my hands on my hips.
"Hell nah. Definitely not if he keep going down the road he's going down."
I laughed lightly at his response.
"So what should I do?"
"You really wanna be with him huh?"
"No..I just figured you tell me since you've been in a relationship before. You can coach me on what to do."
He smacked his lips and threw his arms in the air wildly.
"Ah damn!"
"What?"
He shook his head. "Nothing I just can't imagine you dating Nas. I can't imagine you dating anyone. You're my little sister."
He froze for a minute and then started walking out.
"Hell no, forget this shit. You just gone have to stay ya ass celibate because I ain't doing it."
I grabbed his arm to bring him back.
"Come on Kyren, please."
"Alright fine, but if I find out you and him been having sex or think about it Ima get ya ass sewed up down there and Ima cut that nigga you know what off." He pointed his finger in my face.
"O-okay." I nodded in understanding.
"Now, all you gotta do it...wait."
"What?" I looked at him confusingly.
"If that nigga really showing interest in you, just wait. You ain't bout to be running after him. Nope, us Halls don't do that." He shook his head
"So you saying you never chase after a girl before." I crossed my arms and looked at him with squinted eyes because I knew that he was lying.
"Hell na. Never have and never will."
I shook my head and smirked.
"So that's your advice? Telling me to wait. What is that gonna do Kyren."
"I don't know and honestly don't care but you'll find out when you find out." And with that he walked out with a smile on his face like he just gave out one of the greatest advice but which was really confusing and dumb.
Two days later
"So everyone keeps talking about that fight and its starting to get so annoying. I don't understand why they have to drag it on. This is why I hate that school." Amanda blew out some air as she laid down on my bed.
"Oh really?"
"Yeah. I just wish I was there so I could've done something." She looked at me with sad eyes. I could tell she kept looking at the bruise on my cheek because her eyes would advert to it and then back up to me.
"Why? So you can go ahead and get suspended to? I wouldn't be a true friend if I convince you to fight them just for my revenge. Besides if I don't get them then God will himself and cant nobody get you like the man upstairs."
We both laughed. Just then my phone went off signaling a message.
Nas - You ready to talk?
I rolled my eyes and threw the phone down. Amanda picked it up reading what I had just read and gave the same response.
"Girl you bet not write that lame ass nigga back."
I chewed on my bottom lip shaking my head.
"Good,"
Before she could finish I cut her off. " I'm not gonna text him back, instead I'm about to go see him."
I picked up my phone and threw on my jacket.
"Like hell you are."

Oh my goodness, I honestly can't say how much embarrassing this. I've been gone forever like I finish the book. This is so wrong and I am truly sorry to the fans that are like what the hell happen. Only if you knew how hard college is. But I want to say I'm back but who knows. To those who were waiting for an update I'm truly sorry for letting those down. Please forgive. Also I'm gonna make my next chapter extra long if you're still reading. Thanks.
