I was on my usual routine morning routine. As I was walking to Justin's house I saw that his moms car wasn't there. I gave him a call but he didn't pick up.
"Hey Diana!" I hear someone yell. I turn around not only to see Mike but this a lot young cute boy.
"Hey Mike what's going?" I smile.
"Hey I want to introduce my little brother to you, Austin." Austin waved at me and I'm staring at his chest.
"Ahem," he clears his throat.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry I was looking at your shirt. I dig it." I say. It was a Sleeping With Sirens tee.
"I love your shirt too. I am so in love with Sleeping With Sirens," Mike just stood standing.
"So Austin is a middle schooler so you better be going Austin," Mike says.
"Oh yeah, nice meeting you Diana," he says. I blush. Mike and I walk side by side to school.
"Hey um were having a block party next week if you're not busy that weekend I hope you can come. We have one of the bests parties ever."
"Oh really?" He says. I smirk at him.
"Yes really," I giggle.
"Okay. I'll be there. Only on one condition." He says pointing his index finger up.
"You have to be my date." He smiles. I start blushing sooo bad that I start to sweat.
"Okay I managed to say," I couldn't stop smiling.
"Hey remember our first conversation about sleeping w/ the veils?" He laughs.
"Yeah," I smile but still blushing.
"Well truth is. I was afraid that you wouldn't like me because of who I really am so truly. I love Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens and Bring me to the horizon and all those other bands. I was just scared but as I saw you're really into them." I had my mouth open and I couldn't believe it.
"FINALLY!" Oh my god you can't believe how much I love you even more right now. Wow!" I soon as I was about to jump up and hug the living shit out of Mike I heard Justin calling me.
"DIANA!" He screamed.
"Oh shit." I say."
"Who is he?" Mike asks.
"Um..." I hesitate.
"Diana what the fuck. I've been calling you for the past 10 minutes. What the fuck. Who the fuck is this?!" He screams looking at Mike.
"Is this your boyfriend?" Mike asks holding himself back.
"Yes," he says.
"No," I say. Mike looks sad. He starts to walk away. I grab his wrist and his hand and look at Justin.
"We're just friends Mike. He's just being an ass," I say. "Lets go Mike." I grab his hand and walk away from Justin.
"Don't come crying to me when this asshole breaks your heart!" Justin screams.
"I'm never going to break your heart darling," he whispers in my ear and kisses my head. I feel tears in my eyes as me and Mike are still holding hands and I start crying. He looks at me, "Oh my god what happened. Why are you crying?" He says. I can see worry in his eyes.
"You just made me feel so safe," I cry and he hugs me and I start sobbing in his black shirt. He starts hugging me tighter and starts rubbing my back. He rests his chin on my head and I love him for being so kind to me after all my pain. We finally arrive to school just in time. I say bye to Mike as I walk to the girls bathroom and clean myself up.
"Okay class, Diana why are you late?" Mrs. C says.
"Bathroom," I sniffle.
"Okay take your seat." I walk to my seat and just look down the whole time and all I can think of is Mike.
"Diana!" Mrs. C yells my name as I snap my head.
"Yes?"
"What's the answer?"
"78," i say.
"Good just making sure," I was listening but just not in the mood for thinking about math.
Mike's POV
All I can think about is Diana smile. Her sweet smile and he sweet scent. I knew she was the one from the first moment I saw her.
"Hey Mike!" Jerry my best friend yells during passing period.
"What?"
"What are you thinking about," he says.
"A girl," I say.
"Ohhh shit. Does she come here?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's also my neighbor." I look at the ground and smile.
"Ohh," he smirks at me.
Diana's POV
"Ugh I hate that new boy," the girls at my table say.
"And he has long hair. Eww, like what guy has long hair. And a piercing on his lip and nose. Like what the fuck. He's totally emo. I bet he's gay. Just look at him." They keep going. I look around to see if I can find him.
"Diana!" I hear my name and a waving hand. It's Justin.
"Hey I'll be right back." I walk to Justin.
"Hey," he smiles.
"Hey?" I ask. He gives me a hug. "Get away," I push him.
"I can't believe you would talk to me like that. I'm still not over that bitch," Justin says. I roll my eyes. He then grabs my wrists and takes me across the cafeteria.
"Leave me alone, I hate you!" I scream. He grabs my hands and holds them tight. "Get off Justin, what's wrong with you?!" I scream as I feel the tears.
"I fucking love you. Can't you tell. I've been trying so hard to get you to love me back and then this asshole Mike shows up and you fall
In love with him?! You barely know him. He could be some weird ass creep that only wants to fuck you up. He wasn't there when you did that wasn't he?! Look me in the eyes and tell me you love me. Now!" He says and he's right in front of my mouth. I start crying as the tears fall down quickly.
"Leave me alone, get away Justin. No I don't love you. Especially not like this!" I scream. He then gives me a red face and pushes me against the lockers and starts kissing me. I start crying more. He then starts biting my lips and hurting me. I start sobbing. He starts moving his arms around my body and into my clothes.
He then falls on the floor.
"Mike!" I yell. He starts hitting Justin. I fall on the floor and start sobbing my heart out. I can't stop crying and I can't breath. I then see Mike punch Justin and he then starts hitting him back. I still can't stop crying. Mike then picks me up and carries me away. I can't stop crying. He starts patting me. I cry again on him. I can't stop crying.
"There there, you're okay. You're okay darling. I'm here now." I slowly stop crying. He looks into my eyes and smiles but I see him so worried.
"He touched me!" I sobbed. He grabs my hand and kisses my hand and my forehead.
"I'm here now you're safe with me." I start crying more.
Mikes POV
I feel like killing Justin.
He hurt Diana so bad. She can't stop crying. I want to kiss her and hug her and comfort her as much as possible but she needs space right now.
"Mike!" She cries louder. She hugs me so tight and I hug her back. I tell her she's going to be okay and that she's safe with me. I feel so terrible that I wasn't there to help her as soon as she was in danger. I'm falling in love with her. But this is all so fast. How can I tell her? Especially now. She starts breathing. I go into my locker and get her a water bottle to drink to calm down. I take her hand and take her to the principals office after lunch.
"Are you okay sweetie?" She looks at Diana.
"No," she cries softly.
"Some kid forced her to make out w/ him and raped her in a way," I say.
"Oh my god." she says. "Who was it?" She asked. Diana started crying even more.
"Justin Calvin," I say as Diana starts sobbing.
"Okay," she writes it down and calls him over the speaker phone thingy. She gives Diana some tissues
