"Johnny can you hold her for a minute?" Ghost asked.
"Of course," Toast said, Taking me into his arms. Ghost quickly takes his shirt off and wraps it around my stomach and sides. Toast is looking down at the injury probably trying to guess how serious it is.
"I can carry her for a bit sir," Toast says.
"Okay," Ghost replies brushing a piece of hair behind my ears. I put my hand out and he takes it, I've only known these two people for a couple days but I feel like we already know each other so well. I squeeze his hand and let go.
Everything starts turning slightly black.
"G-Ghost, Toast," I say terrified. They both look at me, I feel weak in Toasts arms. By now all I see is black. I hear voices the sound like there miles away. Where am I?
"Hello?" I call. No reply. I hear a noise that sounds like a twig snapping.
"Is anyone there?" I say to the darkness.
"Ahhh!" I feel something in my side. I look but there's nothing there. What's going on?
"Help!" I shout. Suddenly I'm falling. I scream. I land on what I hope is the floor. I open my eyes never knowing I closed them and see a girl in a hospital bed. I see Ghost and Toast sitting in chairs next to the bed. Wait a minute, That's me.
The door opens and a doctor steps in. The doctor looks at me then talks to Toast and Ghost.
"Its kind of just a what if right now," The doctor says. The doctor says a few more things then leaves. Ghost and Toast step up to the side of the bed.
I want to wake up, To open my eyes and squeeze Ghost's hand. Please Lord, Let me go back, I pray. I close my eyes and open them again. I put a hand on Toast's cheek and I squeeze Ghost's hand. They both look at me and smile. I smile back.
"Your not gonna loose me that easily," I say. They chuckle a little bit then sit back down in their chairs.
"What did they do to me?" i ask.
"They took the bullet out and stitched the wound," Toast says. I look at my side and sure enough there is a line of stitching. I look back at them.
"When do i get out?" I question already eager to leave.
"We can leave tomorrow if you think your ready," Toast answers.
"Is there any chance we could leave today?" I ask.
"We could ask," Toast says.
The doctor comes back into the room surprised to see that I'm awake.
"I'm glad your awake," He says.
"Can I go?" I ask instantly.
"You should probably just stay here overnight just in case something happens," He replies. I make a sad face.
"Okay," I mumble.
