Once they were all in the car, no one said a single thing to each other. Nobody wanted to talk, nobody felt the need to talk.
Danielle's hand was enlaced with Steven's as his head rested on her shoulder.
Conrad parked in the driveway and he and Jeremiah walked inside, Steven decided to sit out on the porch.
"Wait here for me." Danielle told him as she headed inside and into the bathroom to get the first-aid kit.
She came back out with the kit in her hands. "Here, look at me and tell me if anything hurts." She sat down next to him with her legs crossed and proceded to clean and leftover blood on his face and clean any cuts on his face.
"Like everything that just happened? 'Cuz it really hurts." He whispered.
"Steven, I am, and forever will be greatful for everything you do for me. I mean, you went t the dock without asking any question for me when you could have done nothing. You got your ass beaten by my ex because of me and I'm sure you would have done it again if your life depended on it."
Steven smiled before exhailing deeply from the pain.
"Sorry, I'm trying to be gentle."
"Shit's burning like hell." Steven giggled and moved his head so Danielle wouldn't torture him anymore.
"Stop being so childish and stay still so we can be done quicker." Danielle laughed.
"What do I get in return?" He asked in a playful tone making the girl blush.
"My love, obviously... and maybe some ice cream."

A little while after claning Steven's injuries with much pain and a few kiss breaks from here to there, the couple walked into the house to get their ice cream like Danielle promised.
She stopped walking and stood infront of the window that lead out to the pool in the backyard. "You're fucking kidding me." Steven walked next to her and looked out to see what she was upset about. Jeremiah and Belly were in the pool, making out.
"Danielle, don't be too hard on them." Steven started, but Danielle was already making her way outside to the porch.
"Great job, Belly. Great job! You just won backstabber of the fucking year. Be fucking proud of that shit!" Danielle flipped the girl off as Belly pushed Jeremiah away from her.
"Wait, Danielle-" Belly started, but Danielle was already making her way inside, closing the door in her face. Before she could run upstairs, Steven held her back by her wrist.
"Don't ignore the elephant in the room, princess."
She frustratingly sighed and turned to her brother and Belly as they entered the kitchen, dripping wet and embarresed. "I hate the both of you right now."
Danielle sighed loudly once again. "Belly, you haven't spoken to me for weeks on end just because I kissed Steven after years of you knowing how much I liked him. And you want to play with both my brothers like they're fucking dolls?! This isn't a fucking movie, Belly!"
"Danielle, I'm so sorry. I swear."
At this point, Danielle was starting to cry. "It hurts, Belly. It hurts so much because I've always pictured the both of us talking about our first kisses and other stuff like that on our bed while eating... like 3 pints of ice cream. Jesus, I'm so pathetic." Danielle wipped some of her tears. "But in the span of a few weeks, I lost my best friend and you were just acting like a stranger to me, not the twin sister I've always wanted."
Danielle finally gave in a let out a sob before walking over to Belly and engulfing her into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry, Danielle. I really am."
"I missed you so much, Belly.
