#AlexisOut

Being there for someone when they're vulnerable is a delicate balance. It's supposed to be about offering genuine support and comfort without crossing boundaries or exploiting their emotions for personal gain.
When Jude found out about Alexis, I saw a side of him I hadn't seen before. His strong facade cracked, revealing a vulnerability that made him even more human, more relatable.
Part of me wanted to comfort him out of genuine care, but another part saw an opportunity—a way to strengthen our bond.
I was there day in and out being there to support him. Alexis was out of the picture and I felt on top of the world. The breakup was fast. No hesitation.
Each day as Jude poured out his heart to me, I listened intently. His pain was obvious, his confusion and hurt evident in every word.
In those moments, I found myself offering words of reassurance and comfort. I held his hand, offered a shoulder to cry on, and assured him that he wasn't alone. But in the back of my mind, I couldn't ignore the thought of how this was really deepening our connection.
Vulnerability has a way of forging bonds. When someone opens up to you in their weakest moments, it creates a sense of intimacy and trust that is hard to replicate in any other way.
I couldn't help but think about the importance of playing the right cards in situations like this. Vulnerability is powerful, and it can be a tool to strengthen relationships, but it must be handled delicately. Alexis had played her cards poorly.
She forced Jude to kick me out of the house, forgetting the image I've presented and the impression I've given to him and his family, she didn't consider how kind hearted they were, so of course Jude ensured I was okay because of her rash decision. Then on top of us becoming closer, I dropped her secret, which made him turn to me the one he was getting closer and closer to.
When I exposed Alexis, it wasn't just about revealing the truth. It was about showing Jude that I was someone he could trust, as crazy as it seemed. Also someone who had his best interests at heart. I would never use him for his wealth, I was madly inlove with him, I could care less.
And because of how comfortable he felt with me, he confided in me and sought refuge in my presence. He was broken, and I became the person he leaned on which was what I wanted because it's one big step closer.
One afternoon, as we sat in my living room, he turned to me with a serious expression. "I want to ask you something," he said, his voice hesitant.
"Of course, anything," I replied, curious about what was on his mind. He never brought up the kiss, neither did I, especially because of his reaction after and being too pushy could redefine everything in a way where he pulls away. That was too much of a risk so, it's back to the waiting game.
"I was wondering if you would like your job back," he said. "We never really found a replacement and it would be nice to have you back."
His offer caught me off guard. Alexis was out of the picture, and here Jude was, offering me a chance to return to a position that would put me back in close proximity to him. No! No! NO!
With her out, I was being everything he could need, why would he want me back as an employee and not more, it's really back to the waiting game.
"Are you sure?" I asked, wishing he would change his mind.
He nodded. "Yes, I'm sure. You've been here for me in ways I can't even begin to describe. I want you around. I need you around."

So here I was, back in Jude's house once again weeks later, reflecting on everything that had happened. I descended the stairs feeling like a princess who had returned after being banished. I was happy to be home.
As I walked through the house, I noticed Antonio busy in the kitchen, where he was always expected to be. The familiar sounds of pots clanging and the aroma of food being prepared created a warm, homely feel. Antonio looked up and gave me a nod of acknowledgment, a small smile on his face. It was good to see him again, hard at work as usual.
Marisol was doing laundry, humming softly to herself as she moved about. Piles of clean clothes were neatly folded, and the washing machine added a soothing background noise. She glanced at me, her eyes twinkling with warmth. She had always been a comforting presence in the house, and seeing her brought back a sense of normalcy.
Elena was on the left wing, cleaning diligently. She was always thorough, making sure every corner of the house was spotless. As I passed by, she waved and continued her work, her focus unwavering. The house felt alive with their presence, each of them contributing to the smooth running of this place that now felt like a second home to me.
I made my way to Jude's room. He wasn't here, and I found myself standing in front of his door, a place I had never ventured into before. I had always walked past it, respecting his privacy, but today felt different. With a deep breath, I gently pushed the door open.
The room was spacious and tidy, much like the rest of the house. It had a sense of order and simplicity, reflecting Jude's personality. The bed was neatly made, and the furniture was arranged thoughtfully. Personal touches were scattered around the room—photos, books, and mementos that spoke of his life and interests.
I walked in slowly, taking in the details. There was a photo of Jude with his family, a snapshot of happier times. A few trophies and medals adorned a shelf. But most of all there was no signs of Alexis, no touch of a woman and that made me smile as I looked around.
I walked over to his bed and sat down, letting my thoughts wander. The softness of the mattress and the faint scent of his cologne made me feel at ease. This room held a piece of Jude that the outside world rarely saw. If this bed could talk, I wonder how many visitors would I be told about, could I be the next one?
After a few moments, I got up fixed where I sat then walked to the window. The view of the garden below was serene, with sunlight filtering through the trees and casting dappled shadows on the ground. I could see the flowers swaying gently in the breeze, their colour vibrant against the green backdrop. He had the best gardeners who maintained the property really well.
As I stood there, I thought about the journey that had brought me to this point. The ups and downs. It hadn't been an easy path, but it was one I was willing to walk for Jude. I would go to war, unarmed bare handed for him.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I walked over to his closet. As I opened the door, I was greeted by an impressive collection of designer shoes. Rows of polished leather shoes from brands like Gucci, Prada, and Louis Vuitton stood neatly lined up. Next to them were more casual pairs—sneakers from Nike, Adidas, and Balenciaga. Each pair looked carefully chosen and well-maintained.
In one corner of the closet, I noticed several pairs of football boots. Each pair had a small label attached, indicating the game in which they had been worn. There was something intimate about seeing these mementos from his career, each pair of shoes carrying memories of important matches and achievements.
I continued to explore, running my fingers along the hangers holding his clothes. His wardrobe was a mix of casual and formal attire—tailored suits from Armani and Tom Ford, alongside more relaxed clothing like jeans and t-shirts from brands like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.
I then turned my attention to his drawers. Opening the first one, I found more clothes—neatly folded shirts and sweaters. Everything was arranged with care. I opened another drawer, not knowing what to expect, and realized it was his underwear drawer.
A blush crept over my cheeks as I took in the neatly folded boxer briefs and socks. I picked up the first pair of underwear I saw and, brought it up to my face and sniffed it. It had the faint, clean scent of him, a smell that was distinctly Jude I couldn't help the groan that escaped.
I placed the underwear back and closed the drawer. Again, no sign of Alexis this was amazing and how it should've been from the start.
I left his room and closed the door behind me. The hallway was clear, and I made my way back to the kitchen. It was almost dinner time, and Jude would be home soon. As I entered the kitchen, I noticed the array of dishes laid out on the counter. The options were completely different from what Jude usually preferred.
"What's all of this?" I asked, looking at Antonio, who was busy stirring a pot.
Antonio glanced up with a smile. "Jude made a special request. He said he has company coming over."
"Company?" I asked, feeling a bit uneasy. "Meaning like a lot of people or...?"
He shook his head. "No, sounds like just one person. Actually, it sounds like a date based on the requests so set the table for two."
A date? If it were Alexis, he wouldn't use the term "company." Maybe it was just an industry friend or a close friend, perhaps a relative. Trying to push the thoughts away, I went to set the table for two, but the thoughts kept consuming me. I refused to believe he was actually bringing someone home already and so soon.
Moments went by, and Jude was home. I heard him call out to Antonio, "Is everything ready?" Antonio said yes then he said the me "listen out for the door bell" before he sprinted upstairs. I returned to the dining room to see Antonio lighting candles.
"What are you doing?" I asked, feeling a knot form in my stomach. I already knew what was happening I just couldn't come to terms. He was just devastated, how could he move on to someone else that wasn't me.
Antonio shrugged. "Just following Jude's request."
It was funny how this was directly communicated to Antonio and not to me. Not haha funny, but funny weird. The doorbell rang, and I walked over, still hoping it would be someone familiar. But no, I opened the door to a woman who could pass for Kendall Jenner's doppelgänger.
"Hi," she greeted with a warm smile. I could already tell from her aura, she was a sweet girl, she didn't have the mean girl energy that radiated from Alexis.
"Hello," I replied, trying to mask my surprise. "Come in."
She stepped inside, her elegance and confidence making me feel even more out of place. I led her to the living room and offered her a seat. "Jude will be down in a minute."
She smiled again, her eyes sparkling. "Thank you, your hair is so lovely, do you have a specific product you use?"
She asked not in a sucking up to me way, but in a genuinely nice way, I could tell it was a sincere compliment. Ugh, this bitch.
"Thanks, not really" I told her.
"Oh that's fine" she smiled sweetly, what a bitch can you believe her?
I went back to the dining room, trying not to spazz. Antonio was setting the final touches, placing the last of the dishes on the table.
"Who is she?" I whispered to Antonio, trying to keep my voice steady. He peeped around his eyes popped, I get it she was drop dead gorgeous.
"Jude didn't say much." He started, "but that's Lana Martinez , GQ and Sports illustrated model literally one of the highest paid models right now. I follow her on Instagram. How could you not know her?"
"I'm out of touch" I mumbled.
"Jude is literally the luckiest man right now" he said before making his way out with the glasses.
I sighed, my mind racing with possibilities. Why hadn't Jude told me? What was this all about? Is he seriously dating this woman? All my hard work, I could kick a steel right now and not feel pain, I only felt rage.
A few moments later, Jude came down the stairs, looking sharp in a casual yet stylish outfit. He walked over to the woman and greeted her with a hug, then shortly a soft kiss on the lips. I almost passed out.
"It's so good to see you," he said, his voice warm and friendly.
"You too," she replied, her smile widening. "You look so handsome"
I stood in the background, feeling like an outsider once again watching the man who should be mine with another woman. Jude led her to the dining room, and they took their seats at the table. I lingered by the doorway, unsure of what to do next. The moment he reached for her hand and kissed it, I returned to my quarters.
I closed the door, pacing back and forth what to do? I wanted to reck everything in sight but I did my breathing exercises before reaching for my phone, aggressively typing in l a n a m...she popped up.
