Vani was in a playful mood, she began to mimic Henry.
Sofia, couldn't hold back her giggles. "You've really got the Henry destruction routine down!"
The group burst into laughter as Vani's performance reached its peak. She struck a final, exaggerated pose, her face a picture of mock seriousness.
One of the employees, Tom, clapped appreciatively. "Bravo! That was spot on! I'm almost afraid you might actually make Henry Cavill a little jealous."
Sofia added with a chuckle, "If he ever sees this, he might just turn the room upside down for real!"
Vani laughed along with them, her performance a hit. "Maybe I should start offering classes on how to mimic the boss!"
Tom joked, "I'd sign up. It's nice to have a laugh around here every now and then."
Sofia gave Vani a friendly nudge. "Thanks for the fun, Vani. It's good to see you bringing some humor to the office."
Suddenly, the door to the room swung open with a loud bang. Henry stormed in, his face a mask of stern resolve. The room fell silent as he took in the sight of Vani in the midst of her imitation.
"Everyone out, now," Henry commanded, his voice leaving no room for argument.
Henry's pov.
I was busy checking the cameras to find out where vani was but suddenly my eyes stopped at the cafeteria where vani with the other employees was mimicking somebody but then I realised that was me, her moves were so captivating that I couldn't control myself and went where she was and I was sure that today I'll loose my control on her.
As the door closed behind the last person, my attention was fully on Vani. She looked up at me , a mixture of surprise and guilt evident on her face and I was enjoying this.
She looks at me with her hands and legs trembling as if she saw a ghost.
Vani: mr..caa..vi.ll I'm ss..
Henry: huhhh!! ( I went closer to her because today the situation was out of my control)
Vani: Mr. cavill, I forgot to shut off my laptop ( tried to distract me and moved towards the door)
Henry: "No you are not going anywhere" (I said while taking long steps towards her causing her to stop)
Vani: but sir I swear..(Her breath hitched in her throat when I pushed her to the wall)
She looked at me with the opened wide eyes while I was staring at her face.
Suddenly I held both of her hands raising them above her head. I started to give her passionate kiss, her heart beat raised intensively faster which was audible enough to be heard by me.
A smirl cracked on my lips when I felt that she was responding to me with the same passion but soon she pushed me.
Henry: "You taste good darling" (I tried to go closer again but she pushed me hard and ran away.)
Vani's pov
When Mr. cavill started kissing me that was so appealing that I couldn't control myself and kissed him back, soon realisation hit me and I pushed him and went out of the cabin. I decided to leave from office today and went back to my home.
"Vani!" My mother exclaimed, enveloping her in a hug. "How was your day"?
I forced a smile, trying to hide my distress. "It was... eventful," I replied, my voice lacking its usual enthusiasm.
As the evening wore on, my thoughts remained troubled by the events. Unable to keep it all inside, I decided to call her best friend, Manasvi.
"Manasvi, I need to talk," i said, my voice trembling slightly.
"I'm on my way," Manasvi replied without hesitation.
When Manasvi arrived, she immediately noticed my distress. "Vani, what's wrong? You look so upset."
"It's henry," i began, my eyes filling with tears. " I lost my first kiss mansavi."
Manasvi hugged me tightly. " Whattt, are you serious..? U lost your first kiss to your boss, I mean the great henry Cavill. Wow!!" (She was shocked and excited but I was not in a good mood.)
"Please mansavi, I need to forget this, help me." I replied
Manasvi: " okay Let's take a break from everything. How about we skip work today and go to the amusement park? We need to clear our heads."
I nodded, grateful for the support. "That sounds like a good idea. I need to get away from all this, even if just for a day."
We called the office to inform my off decision.
Henry's pov
As soon as the message reached me, my mood darkened. I slammed my hand on my desk, my anger barely contained.
"She's not coming in?" I growled, glaring at his assistant, sophia.
"I'm afraid not, Mr. Cavill," she said cautiously. "Vani said she needed a day off."
My eyes blazed with fury. "This is unacceptable. She's slipping away from me. Find out where she's going. I want updates on her whereabouts at all times."
Sophia nodded, sensing the gravity of the situation. "Yes, Mr. Cavill. I'll take care of it."
Author's pov
Meanwhile, at the amusement park, Vani and Manasvi tried to enjoy their day. They rode roller coasters, played games, and indulged in cotton candy, trying to reclaim a sense of normalcy. Despite the laughter and the distractions, Vani couldn't completely shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the back of her mind.
As they sat down to take a break, Manasvi looked at Vani with concern. "Are you feeling any better?"
Vani sighed. "A little. It's just so hard to forget everything that happened."
Manasvi nodded, squeezing her friend's hand. " It's okay vani, you both are adults and it's normal to loose control, be happy that he didn't fired you."
Vani : "hmm, you are right, I should forget this."
Vani returned from the amusement park, feeling slightly better after a day with Manasvi, she was surprised to see Henry already sitting in her living room. He was deep in conversation with her father, his demeanor as calm and authoritative as ever.
"Ah, Vani, you're back," her father said, noticing her entrance. "Mr. Cavill was just discussing an exciting opportunity with us."
Henry stood up, offering her a charming smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Vani, it's good to see you. I hope you had a relaxing day. I was just telling your father about a business trip to Australia that would be incredibly beneficial for your career. It's an excellent opportunity for you to gain more knowledge and experience."
Vani wasn't ready for this she said " sorry sir, but I can't, I mean I've never travelled alone so..!"
Vani paused for a few seconds and then screamed " okay " Henry was already melted with her tone .
Everyone was shocked to see the sudden change of her mind.
Vani's parents exchanged nervous glances. Her mother hesitated. "But, Henry, is it safe for her to go alone? We're concerned about her being so far from home without family."
Henry's smile remained steady. "I understand your concerns, and I assure you that Vani will be well taken care of. I'll personally oversee her stay and ensure she has all the support she needs. This trip is crucial for her professional growth."
After a tense moment, her father nodded. "Alright, Mr. Cavill. We trust you. If you believe this is best for Vani, then we agree."
Rudra, Vani's older brother, entered the room, his expression darkening as he overheard the conversation. "I don't like this idea at all," he said, his voice firm. "Sending Vani alone with Henry is too risky."
Vani looked at her brother, her thoughts conflicted. "Rudra bhaiya, I understand your concerns, but please allow me, I need to live freely, please."
Rudra's eyes narrowed. "Are you sure about this..?"
Vani: "yes bhaiya..!!"
Rudra: "okay"
Henry watched the exchange, his expression unreadable. "Excellent. We'll leave in a few days, Vani. I'll make all the necessary arrangements."
Vani nodded.
As Henry left the house, Vani felt a mix of determination and anxiety.
