"Sick again?"
It was Y/n, she was im Megumi's room holding a thermometer and a wet rag. It was becoming more and more common for Megumi to wake up late and decline missions given by Gojo.
"I don't know whats wrong anymore, I've taken the medicine you give me, followed the diet of a healthy person and exercise a lot." His head hung down low, he didn't want to be sick. He wanted to live his life and do his duty as a sorcerer.
"Maybe you should start visiting Shoko now instead of me."
This idea of hers made Megumi sad. The last thing he wanted to do was be with someone who wasn't Y/n. He didn't want to go with Shoko or anyone.
"I don't want anyone to treat me if it isn't you..." he opened his mouth for Y/n to put the thermometer.
"I appreciate you saying that but," she pushed his hair out of his forehead lovingly before putting the wet rag, "I don't think i'm doing my job and helping you," Y/n said with a sad face.
"Just you trying to ease the pain is helping. I feel so much better when you are by my side and helping me. I feel like every-time when you give me attention...it cures me," he confessed. Y/n was stunned so much she couldn't even speak. This sounded so romantic and had a light blush on her cheeks.
"Do you like me Megumi?"
"Yeah, I do. It's okay if you don't feel the same Y/n, I don't mind it."
"Give me time, I'll return your feelings when the time is right."
"Shoko is there such a thing as being 'lovesick?'" After easing Megumi's fever Y/n immediately headed to Shoko's office to see if she was right.
"I've heard and read about it. It's a real thing but very rare I guess. Why do you ask?"
"I think that's why Megumi suffers so much! Megumi is lovesick."
"It could be..." Shoko rested her chin on the palm of her hand and thought for a minute, "he's love sick because you don't return his feelings right?" She smirked.
"I feel so guilty. He's such a nice guy and we have an amazing friendship but Shoko, i'm scared of another serious relationship. Did I even tell you whats going on right now?" Y/n paused for a minute and Shoko shook her head, "Me and Megumi are fake dating so I can make Yuta jealous!"
She gasped. "Well that's for sure going to work but," she sighed before continuing, "Y/n, not all guys are like Yuta. I'm sure Megumi is a nice guy who would treat you good. Give it time. I know deep inside that your heart wants him."
Y/n's heart did want him but her mind told her she wasn't ready and needed to work on herself first. Megumi clearly saw that which is why he told her to take her time.
After she finished her conversation with her sister she headed towards her office to catch up on some of her readings. Y/n has always been a smart girl, her cursed technique forced her to learn more about the medical world so she didn't mind at all because she was used to studying.

'How have I been? Stressed to say the least but I can't say that!' Y/n thought. She decided to ignore the message for the time being and continued with her work.
To be honest, being in the fake relationship with Megumi made her mind block any guy that wanted to talk to her or get her number. She was loyal despite the fact that the relationship is fake.
Over on Megumi's room
"Why isn't she texting me?"
He had no messages from Y/n this whole day. He was honestly expecting her to lead the plan and make the dating more realistic with a real date. As simple as going to get ice cream or going to a candy shop but none of that was being asked.
'Should I ask her...?'
Megumi knew that relationships majority of the time consisted of the guy being the leader in a way. But he was so shy to ask her anything about a date!
He started thinking more about his feelings for the girl.
Why did he like her? Why was his love so deep?
One sided feelings is a harsh situation. It does not feel good or nice. You feel as if you are unwanted and start overthinking everything that you do. You do things that are over the top just to get the attention of the person you like.
Megumi started wearing cologne to see if she would notice. If she would ask if he's wearing anything or compliment him on smelling nice because he had heard from Gojo that a girl likes with a guy smells nice.
He was beginning to feel like an idiot for being so madly in love to the point where he gets all these fevers and headaches, heart beats and sleepless nights.
He was simply tired of being lovesick.
A single grain of attention from the girl heals him slowly. But it would take a-lot of love from Y/n for him to be fully cured.

Megumi sat still in his bed criss crossed just staring at his phone waiting for her to reply back. It only took a few seconds before she got back to him.
He gasped slightly upon seeing the message. His eyes had stars and he got up from his bed and held his phone up high not believing the answer.
