KATARA AND TOPH were helping Aang train. You sat by watching, your eyes sparkling in amazement as each of them bended their designated elements easily.

"Okay, I'm ready for some training!" Aang annouced, tying his Fire nation bandana around his eyes.

Toph taught Aang how to use seismic sense, this training was going to help him practice it.

Aang finished tying his bandana, he took a few steps forward. He slammed down his left foot for his last step.

You assume he was using seismic sens, since he didn't take any other steps after the foot slam down Toph attacked him first. Sending different pillars of rock out of the ground.

Aang seemed to sense them before even an inch of the pillar rose from the ground. He dodged them all easily, swerving between the pillars as they erupted from the rocky mountain floor.

Aang turned his direction towards Katara, Water launching at him. Aang redirected it back to Katara, catching her off guard. He took this chance to take a small boulder of rock and launch towards Toph.

Toph caught it with her bare hand. A proud smirk on her face.

"Good Job, twinkle-Toes! Visualize, then attack!" Toph shouted to him.

She sent back the boulder to the sender, but Aang dodged it. Burying himself in the ground. The boulder ended up hitting Katara knocking her to the ground.

"Maybe you should take your own advice, Toph!" Katara spat.

"What's the matter? Can't handle some dirt, Madame Fussy Britches." Toph teased, with a cocky smirk.

Kataras eyes widened as one of her brows twitched with anger. Katara rose a wall of water from the river behind her. Making a small doorway in the water so it would avoid her and Aang then if closing just in time for it wash over Toph.

"Oh sorry, did I splash you, Mud Slug?" Katara asked with a teasing baby voice.

Your eyes widened in shock feeling the thick tension between the two. Knowing Katara she was challenging Toph to a fight.

And knowing Toph she would accept it with honor.

Toph formed a slide of rocks under her, riding the rocks toward katara. Katara did the same thing, freezing ice under her and riding her way towards Toph.

Aang did a swift movement, stopping them both in their tracks. Katara flew onto to Toph, both of them flying into the mud made by Katara.

"Are we taking a break?" Aang question. The bandana still on his head.

"AHHH SNEAK ATTACK!" You heard Sokka yell

You turned your head towards Sokka, his hand launched in the air as he ran towards Aang. Aang made a quick rock wall for Sokka to run into.

Sokka ran into the wall, causing him to collapse onto the ground.

"Sokka, sneak attacks don't work if you yell it out loud." Aang softly lectured.

You took some moisture out of the air, forming a ball of water. You threw at the back of Aangs head.

"Now that's, a sneak attack." You grinned with pride.

"Hey, That's not fair! I wasn't paying attention." Aang argued.

"That's the point of a sneak attack.." You rolled your eyes with a chuckle

Aang looked behind you with a confused look on his face. You were confused as well as you turned your head

Toph and Katara were currently fighting in the mud, both of them covered in it.

Aang walked over to the two slowly. You quickly helped Sokka off the ground as you two ran to the fighting scene as well.

"Uh, guys, I thought we were supposed to be training me." Aang said

Katara quickly straightens her posture as Toph puts down her hands.

"Very well, Pupil. I believe we've had enough training for today." Katara put a finger in the air.

"While Katara cleans up," Toph quickly knocked off the mud on her body, "Let's go have some fun!"

"YEAH!" Aang, Sokka and you said in unison.

You three walked through the nearby Fire nation town.  Dozen of messenger hawks flew overhead and many civilians paid you three no mind.

"Look at all those messenger hawks, " Sokka spoke, "You know, I've been thinking about getting one for myself. That way, I wouldn't have to talk to anyone. I could js just send them messages."

"That'd been amazing. Sometimes I just get a headache from you talking to much." You smiled.

"Yea, I like the idea of not talking to you." Toph added.

Sokka glared at Toph an eyes, his brows knitted together in annoyance.

"So, Guys, what are we gonna get with our last silver piece?" Aang asked, holding the silver piece out us.

"Food" You quickly said.

"We can get more money, then get food." Toph spoke, stopping in her tracks, "right there!"

You all ran to Tophs side looking at what she was pointing at.

Toph was pointing at a table with crowds of men around it and  3 wooden bowls on said table.

"This is where you seeing people are at a disadvantage, everyone guess wrong because the dealer moves the rock at the last minute. But I can feel it with my earth-bending." Toph explained.

You all nodded and followed her down there until we were next in line to play. You all stood around clueless waiting for the dealer to call on us.

"You there!" He called, "want to play a friendly game?"

"How could I possibly play? I'm blind." Toph said innocently

"You don't have to see go be lucky." The man smirked.

Toph got on her knees and started to crawl around to look for the wooden table, as if she couldn't already sense it. Once she felt it with her hands, she dug the silver piece out of her pocket and placed it on the table

The man began to move around the bowls, the rock was originally in the middle. When it was over it was in the far left one.

Toph pointed to the far left one, the man lifted up the bowl and revealed the rock

"Flamey-O, Toph" Aang smile.

"Wow. Fancy guessing." The man tossed Toph a few silver pieces, "You are amazing at this. would like to make the game a little more interesting?"

"More interesting? How?" Toph question, her innocent little girl act still on.

"Well, let's say you throw in your friends fancy sword there, then i'll put up twenty silver pieces against it and that's more interesting." The sketchy man inquired.

Toph snatched Sokka's sword from his grasp "I'll do it for forty Silver pieces." She bargained

All the color in Sokka's face drained as his jaw dropped to the floor.

"forty silver pieces it is."

The man shuffled around the bowl, making you already lose track of the tiny stone. The man finally finished giving Toph a chance to pick a bowl.

She pointed at the middle one.

"Sorry little lady, but." The man said beginning to lift up the bowl, "HUH?"

The rock was indeed in the middle.

"I won!" Toph yelled, she snatched the money from off the table and Sokka grabbed his sword.

You all ran down the road not looking back. You ducked behind a corner catching your breathes.

"Can we get some food now?" You asked rubbing your stomach.

"we can food now and food to last us for days!" Aang exclaimed.

You all laughed on your way back home each of you holding a basket full of goods. You threw the baskets of food infront of Katara as she stirred a pot full of soup.

"where did you guys get the money to buy all this stuff?" She question. She stop stirring and looked at you four confused.

"Toph got us money." Aang answered taking a bite out of an apple, "she scammed one of those guys in town who moves the bowls around all sneakily like."

You took a bite out of a juicy apple aswell. The flavors and juices exploded into your mouth as the crunch of the apple just sent you in euphoria.

"She used earth-bending to win the game!" Sokka's high pitched voice added."Classic!"

"Ah, so she cheated." Katara rolled her eyes.

"I mean I guess, but she got us money." You finished your apple, tossing the core of it to the side, "We didn't do anything Illegal."

"Plus, I only cheated because he was cheating." Toph included with a proud smirk on her face, "I cheated a cheater. What's wrong with that?"

"I'm just saying this isn't something we should make a habit of doing." Katara said sternly

"Why? Because it's fun, and you hate fun?" Toph questioned

"I don't hate fun!" Katara quickly defended herself.

She grabbed Momo whom was besides her and placed him on her head with a smile on her face.

"See, fun!" She awkwardly smiled.

Your face cringed at the failed attempt at Katara trying to be funny. Her gaze shifted to you and you softly shook her head no. Katara let out a sigh as Momo slipped of her head.

Aang couldn't bare the sight of his crush embarrassing herself.

"Katara, I'll personally make you an Avatar promise that we won't make a habit of doing these scams." Aang bowed

That was a lie. You four continued to scam left in right. Cheating various street players whether they were playing fair or not.

You even went has far to practically robbing an innocent rich man of his money. The heist involved Toph fainting in front of his carriage and Sokka pretending to be a police man.

The rich man was scared and gave Sokka nearly ten gold pieces and forty silver.

Katara got annoyed with how much money you were bringing home from scamming. Spending it on useless things that just cluttered Appa's saddle.

"Guys I think this scamming has gone far enough. If you keep doing them, something bad is gonna happen." Katara said.

"Could you for once stop being a sourpuss and just lighten up." Toph spat.

"Oh, i'm sorry. You think i should be more like you? Like some wild child?" Katara question.

"Yea, maybe." Toph replied, "Maybe then, you'd see how great we have it. I mean, look at us We're traveling around the world, making easy money. having fun with no parents telling us what to do!"

"Ah I see. You're acting like this because of your parents." Katara spoke, realizing.

"Whatever" Toph deadpanned., I ran away to help Aang and that's it."

"You know what it doesn't matter, these scams put us all at risk, and we don't need that." Katara rubbed her temple annoyed, "We have enough money you need to stop."

"I'll stop when I wanna stop not when you tell me!" Toph screamed storming off

"Speaking of money, i'm off to spend some, see you guys later." Sokka said waving goodbye.

"Wait! let me go with you!" You yelled jumping to your feet.

You followed Sokka down the mountain and into town. You wanted to by a new satchel bag since your old one was getting run down. You even had enough money to buy a more expensive; well made one.

"Hey Y/n, do you ever get tht feeling we're being watched." Sokka said out of the blue.

"What?!" You said in instinct, "I mean to be honest yea... i've had that feeling since we were at that lake."

"Glad i'm not alone."

Sokka finally found the store he wanted to shop in, you followed him in. The store was for messenger hawks and Sokka wanted to buy one.

You walked out the store with a new recruit to the team, A messenger hawk.

"Hawky welcome to team avatar, my names
Sokka and i'm your new owner, this is Y/n your.. acquaintance?"

"I can't believe you actually bought one.." You mumbled.

"Don't listen to her, good wittle messenger hawky." Sokka cooed, scratching the hawks belly

You walked by a wanted sign that resembled your blind friend a lot. You stopped walking, you grabbed Sokka by his collar and dragged him to the sign.

"Geez, if you're jealous of how much attention i'm giving hawky then just say that!" Sokka shouted in a quick breath.

"That's not— ugh just look!" You huffed pointed at the wanted poster.

Sokka gasped as his eyes landed on the poster. An angry girl with Tophs hair and headband painted onto the poster. Sokka ripped the paper off the wall.

"This is bad.." Sokka sighed.

"No crap!" You yelled throwing your arms in the air, "We gotta tell Toph about it."

The two of you made your way back to camp. You spotted Aang and Katara water-bending in the river while Toph was admiring her newly made purchases with her cheated money.

You and Sokka walked up to her, Sokka holding the paper tightly in his grasp.

"Toph, when we were in town, we found something you're not going to like." Sokka spoke softly

He unfolded the paper and placed it infront of Tophs face. You stood next to Sokka waiting for Toph to react to her wanted poster.

"Well, it sounds like a sheet of paper but I guess you're referring to what's on the sheet of paper." She deadpanned.

"Toph, It's a wanted poster... Of you!" You spoke, "They've nicknamed you "The runaway""

"A wanted poster! That's so great!" Toph said excitedly, her face instantly lighting up, "The runaway... I love that nickname! Is there a picture of me? Does it look good?"

You and Sokka glanced on the paper before looking back at Toph, it was as accurate as a lazy ink drawing could get.

"Well Yeah, actually, it does look pretty good." Sokka said, "But Toph your missing the point, maybe Katara was right these scams are drawing to much attention to us."

"Yea, i never thought I'd say this but Katara is right." You said eyes slightly widening.

"Don't be such a worrywart, Like her. Think of it this way, now you have plenty of money to help with the invasion plan." Toph smiled shaking a bag of money infront of you.

"Don't try to buy us off!" Sokka spat.

You happily took the money with a shiny grin on your face, "Your so right Toph, I can get those Katanas and satchel bag i've been eyeing for so long."

"Well.. I guess i've been wanting to make armor for Appa." Sokka sighed.

"That's why this wanted poster is going to stay our little secret." Toph whispered.

She grabbed the poster from Sokka and slipped it under her jacket, walking off.

Katara and Aang soon walked over once they finished up their water-bending training.

"Sokka, tell me you didn't buy a bird.." Katara sighed rubbing her temples.

"Not just any bird. a messenger bird. Now we can send messages all over the world, even to Gran-Gran." Sokka smirked.

"Wow! How does it work?" Aang asked with a shine in his eyes.

"Hm.. Uh i never actually thought about that." Sokka spoke, putting a finger on his chin , "Hawky, South pole, Gran-Gran!

The bird stood still on Sokka shoulder.

"No way you're this much of an idiot.." You said astonished.

Momo came out of nowhere and jumped onto the hawk, as they both battled it out on Sokka's shoulder.

You, Sokka, and Toph just returned from heavy scamming. All three of you holding a new item you bought.

You finally bought those two Katanas you've been wanting and a new satchel bag, your new bag was a deep red with a golden latch, your new katanas had orange handles with cute fire designs.

"Well, look who's decided to join us, where have you three been?" Katara asked. "Off scamming again?"

"Yes, we were." Toph answered with a sassy tone

She stood up from behind her pot and walking over to you three.

"And I suppose you don't think what you're doing is dangerous at all?" Katara asked.

"No I don't." Toph rolled her eyes

"Well then, what's this?" Katara showed Tophs wanted poster, the sheet of paper making the typical paper noise. (Idk)

"I don't know!" I mean, seriously what's with you people? I'm blind!" Toph shouted in frustration.

"It's a wanted poster of you! "The runaway"? Is that what your called now? Are you proud of this?" Katara screamed.

You felt yourself getting a headache and you wanted to slip away from this petty little agrument.

You grabbed Sokka by his collar dragging him away, you made sure to grab your two Katanas and make your way to an open valley.

"Sokka, help me train with my new katanas." You demanded.

"Could've just asked." He rolled his eyes.

You got in ready position your katanas in both hands as Sokka was ready with a way better stance then you.

"Your position is so unbalanced, Y/n, Look at me and mimic me." Sokka instructed.

You attempted to mimic him but that only made it worst, all your weight was on your right foot making you vulnerable and easy to knock over.

Sokka put his sword back in its scabbard and walked over to you. He lightly kicked your left foot causing you stumble and fall on your butt.

"Ow?? what was that for?" You growled.

"How are so good at bending but can barely hold a solid stance.." Sokka questioned

Sokka offered you a hand and helped you up.

"Here, stand like this.."

Sokka stood behind you, he placed both his hands in your hips to balance your weight, he then grabbed both your wrist to guide your arms into the right position, his chin on your shoulder as he guided you.

"The make sure your legs are kinda spread apart, so your harder to knock down." He softly said

Sokka let go of your wrist and backed away from, you had a solid stance. He kicked your left foot and you barely budged, he then kicked your right still not knocking you down.

"good! Now do that stance every time you get into battle with your katanas!" He smiled giving you a thumbs up.

You had a light blush on your cheeks, you didn't feel like training with Sokka anymore.

"Alright ready to train?" He yelled over to you, his sword in his grasp.

"Actually.. i'm kinda tired why don't we train tomorrow.." You yelled back to him, your voice shaky.

"Come on! I just showed you a solid stance. Just one round!" He pouted.

"Ugh, Fine!"

Sokka smirked as he ran over to you, his sword by his side. You had zero experience while Sokka was taught by a literal professional.

You crossed your Katanas in an 'X' formation to protect your face and your upper body. Sokka sword closed in between the X and you used this chance to push him back..

He stumbles back but remained strong and charged at you again. You dodged his quick slices at your swords. Sokka ran in your blind spot, he kicked the back of your knee causing to stumble.

You attempted to stable yourself but you failed making yourself stumble backwards instead of the original forward. Sokka caught you, placing his blade of his sword on your neck.

"I win..." He whispered in your ear, his heavy breath hitting your neck

"OK!" You quickly said practically freaking out. "I gave you your one sparring match let's just go back.."

You both panted back up the hill, beads of sweat trickling down your guys forehead. You both made it to the top of the hill, both Katara and Toph were sitting apart from each other.

Both of them were sitting with their arms crossed while Aang sat away watched them with a tired and annoyed look on his face.

"Where have you guys been! I need your help to try and resolve this.." Aang shouted

You and Sokka sat on either side of him, all three of you guys think of ways to solve this problem.

"Hey! You guys want to test out my messenger hawk with me?" Sokka asked excitedly, "i've got an idea."

"Well we've got nothing else.." You sighed.

Sokka whispered the idea to both you and Aang,

"I'm gonna send a note to Katara and say it's from Toph, who wants to apologize. Then everyone would be friends again" Sokka smiled.

You rolled eyes knowing it wouldn't work, one Toph can't write, second Toph isn't the one to apologize first.

"I got to say Sokka, you continue to impress with your ideas!" Aang grinned.

"Eh, it's a gift."

Sokka grabbed a blank piece of paper and some ink and began to put his writing skills to use. You listen to him say what he was writing down out loud.

"Dear katara, Sorry for everything, Your friend, Toph." Sokka rolled the piece of paper up and placed it into the messenger hawks compartment. Sokka pointed to Katara and the hawk flew over to her.

Katara took the paper, reading it within two seconds.

"I know this is from you, Sokka" She yelled, " Toph can't write! Ugh you're all driving me crazy!"

Katara ripped up the paper and stormed off.

"I can't believe we forgot Toph can't write.." Sokka sighed.

"Yep, we're idiots." Aang sighed as well, "I guess plan B is, we send a note to Toph pretending it's from Katara."

"I think we're gonna run into a similar problem." Sokka said.

Sokka got up and walked over to Toph. What they said was unheard to you and Aang but they soon walked off.

You and Aang made eye contact before shrugging to each other.

Night soon arrived Katara returned from wherever she disappeared from and Sokka and Toph returned shortly after her.

Katara got up to face Toph you hoped they were going to apologize to each other so you listened in but still gave them a little space.

"Katara stop, you don't need to apologize. I was the one being stupid, these scams are out of control and i'm done with them." Toph spoke, her voice cracking

"Actually, I wasn't going to apologize. I was gonna say," Katara paused, "I want to pull a scam with you."

Your jaw dropped as you heard those words. You look at Sokka and Aang both of them confused.

"What? You want to pull a scam?" Toph asked, equally confused as you three.

"Not just any scam, The ultimate scam!" Katara smirked.

Sokka and Aang passed out crashing down onto the floor. You wanted to join Katara and Toph but thought it'd be best for them to have their own moment.

They weren't going to pull their ultimate scam till morning, the three girls still awake went to bed. Your mind still fuzzy about the recent Sokka spar.

Morning soon arrived, Toph and Katara were already gone. You sat up, rubbing your eyes.

Aang was pacing around in a worriedly manner while Sokka sat down with a worried expression on his face.

"What's going on?" You questioned, A yawn leaving your lips.

"Katara and Toph aren't back yet and they left hours ago." Sokka replied.

"What?" You immediately sat up, your drowsiness disappearing, "Let's go check on them!"

You three ran your way into town, roaming the suspiciously empty and quiet streets.

"Where do you think they might be?" Sokka asked.

"Where do you think anyone is?" You spoke softly, pointing out the oddly quiet and eerie roads.

You guys made it to the center of town, not running into a single person.

You heard a heavy deep inhale behind you, you peeked around your shoulder, a tall buff man with a beard standing on the roof.

"WATCH OUT!" You yelled pushing them both behind the statue.

"Who is that?" You murmured.

"Sparky-Sparky Book man.." Sokka whispered

"what?" You asked looking at him.

"I don't know. It just popped into my head.." Sokka spoke, scratching the back of his head., "but I don't think it quite fits.."

The man jumped down from the roof, taking another deep breath before launching another attack at you three.

You all jumped from behind the statue and went to find more cover. You looked at the man, putting your physic blood-bending to use. You made him float into the air.

You made the rookie mistake of not turning him around. So he was still able to launch another attack at you.

You merrily dodged and ducked behind more cover, separating yourself from the other two. You took this chance to try to gain back a little bit more of energy. Maybe enough energy to break some of his bones.

You noticed a flying body, soaring through the air before it hit the statue, it fell onto the floor and 'sparky-sparky boom man' approached it.

Your eyes squint it's, trying to figure out who it was but it didn't really matter. You prepared yourself to blood-bend but it seemed like the rest of gang had it, Katara freezes a block of water over his head making him unable to use his brain power.

You ran from your cover and ran over to the group, they began to run as well, Sokka supporting Aang on his shoulder.

Toph made small cover behind us using her earth-bending and we managed to get a ginormous gap on him

"Hey i got it! The prefect name for that guy.  'Combustion man' !"  Sokka said excitedly.

"Good job Sokka!" Toph spoke, "Now let's get out of here before combustion man catches us!"

We all ran out of the city not looking back. We made our way back to Sokka and flew out of there immediately. Feeling drained from the physic blood-bending you passed out.

Your head landing on Sokka's shoulder.

Sokka and Zuko. Enjoy😈🙏🏾
