Virat POV
Afternoon, 2PM
Closing my eyes while laying on the charpai, I let the sunrays fall on my face after shattering with the green leaves of the tall tree I was laying under the shed off
The weather was really beautiful today,
The warm breeze with considerate sunny weather and silence around the place
Sighing while taking deep breaths to calm my tired self from the work, A smile formed on my lips when her voice fell into my ears
Opening my eyelids again, I turned my head to look at the right direction and watching her coming towards me while hopping over the piles of sands and the marigold flower clicked on the side of hairs, I chuckled at her
Listening to her humming a unnamed tune while she was invested in the stone she was hitting by her feet time by time, I waited for her too look at me
Raising her head to have a look of my face, I saw a wide smile forming on her lips quickly and holding her saree's plates while running towards me slowly, she sighed while standing infront of the charpai
"Yein lijiye" saying while extending the tiffin towards me and breathing heavily in between, I nodded my head to her and taking the tiffin from her hands, I sat up straight and pulling her softly towards the charpai I made her sit too
"Kaisa raha aapka din?" I asked her with a small smile while lowering to pick up the jug from under the charpai and filling a glass of water, I passed it to her
"Kafi thaka hua, aap bataiye?" Nodding my head at her reply, I just shrugged my shoulders as if the day was normal and watching her drink hurriedly making the water spill to her chin, I shook my head
"Aaram se biwi" telling her while she ignored my words, I smiled before taking my shawl from the side and cleaning her face with it when she kept the glass aside
"Aapko pata hai, hum aapke liye aapka manpasand Khanna bana kar lekr aaye hai" looking at me with a excited smile, she squealed and chuckling at her reaction, I nodded my head and watching her shifting back on the charpai to assign the food
I followed her actions
Watching her unboxing all the boxes, I smiled small when she opened the boxes for me and showing me "aalu jeera" curry, I smiled widely at my favourite dish and taking it from her hand, I said
"Aree wahh anushka, aapko kaise pata hai hume pasand hai ye sabzi" I asked with a grin and looking at her shocked, a chuckle left my lips when I saw her brushing her fingers from her hairs sassily while she replied "aap jante nhi hai aapki biwi ki shaktiyan abhi pati dev, Zara dhairya rakhiye aage bhi aur pata chalengi"
Laughing at her words, I nodded my head before taking a morsel of the chapati and dipping it into the curry, I extended my hand towards her mouth first
Thinning my eyebrows when she looked at me amazed, I watched her expressions changing into a teasing one before she took the morsel and said "Vaise sudhar diya hai humne aapko, yaad hai shaddi ke pehle dino me kis prakar aap pehla tukda khud kha lete the
Abh dekhiye, humare sath reh kar aache parivartan aayein hain aap mein" replying while winking at me, I chuckled at her words before nodding my head in agreement to her
Trying to take another morsel, I saw her holding my wrist and looking at her confused, I felt her turning my wrist the other side before she made a morsel by herself and forwarded towards my mouth
Smiling to her while parting my lips, I ate the morsel and looking at her with satisfied look I complimented "Kafi swadisht anushka"
Watching her smile at me, I smiled back and as I was going to forward my hands again I was again stopped when anushka showed me her palm assuring me and making a morsel for me
Looking at her feeding me while she stated "Hum khila dete hai", I smiled at the gestures while coming closer to have the peice
My attention was diverted from food to her words when she said in between "Aap kafi shant lag rahein hai? Koi baat hai?"
Thinning my eyebrows at her statement, I quickly shook my head but watching her raising her eyebrows I sighed before looking down and nodding again
"Aap hume bata sakte hai" hearing her words while she fed me another peice, I sighed exhaustingly before joining the words together
"Do din baad gram panchayat hai anushka, hume baba per naaz hai pranatu hume kafi shanka hai ki iss baar hum chunav me Jeet payenge ya nahi"
I said with a slow voice and looking at her face, I saw confusion
Raising my eyebrows to let her know she can ask if there is something and listening to her asking, I nodded my head
"Aur aapko aisa kyu lagta hai ki baba ye chunav haar jayenge? Ise pehle bhi toh baba ne khud ko sabeet karke dikhaya hai nah?"
She said with confusion visible in her words and sighing while nodding my head, I replied "haan anushka per aakhri baar humari party bees saal ke asteetav me pehli baar jeeti-thi aur vo bhi khud ke dam per nahi"
Saying this while every word dripped insecurity for the upcoming room of sarpanch position, I sighed when she looked at me still confused and feeding me the morsel, I chew on it while continuing further
"Kal subah ke waqt Jo attithi Ghar aayein the unka naam virender hai,
Virender aur unke pita pichle tees (30) saal se gao ke sarpanch ka padh Jeet-te aaye hai aur gaovasiyo ka unper bharosa bhi hai
Pranatu pichle chunav ke samay kuch neeji rajniti ke mamlo me fasne ke karan virender ko karagar me daal diya gaya tha aur fir unke baad pehli baar padh hume Mila"
I stopped for few seconds and looking at anushka, I could see her nodding her head understanding and looking at me while forwarding another morsel towards my lips, she said "pranatu bhooth ko bhoothkal me chor dete hai nah? Use abh ke chunav ka kya lena-dena hai?"
Nodding my head at her words, I replied with a soft tone
"Pata nahi anushka, pranatu pichle chunav me hume bees (20) partishat Kum vote mile the virender ki party se jo kaafi badi rakam hai aur virender karagar se bahar aagye hai abh vapis, hume nahi lagta ki iss baar ka chunav hum jeetenge"
I completed with a sigh and looking at her face, I could see her smiling to me before she nodded her head with a hum voice and collecting the boxes together as we were finished, she asked
"Aur aapko kyu lagta hai ki gaovasi virender ji, jo paanch saal karagar me beeta kar aaye hai unhe vote karenge per baba ko nahi?"
She asked with a normal tone,
With the normal way I can't think the things right now
Shrugging my shoulders while looking at her, I saw her knotting the boxes together in the dupatta while glancing at me and thinking of replying further
I did
"Aur aapko lagta hai gaovasi jinka bharosa pichle tees saal se virender ke pita per aur virender per hai vo bas hum paanch saal ki panchayat per dhyan bhi karenge?"
Looking at her with a curious look I could see her looking at me with a silent face and sighing I mumbled
"Humare baba ko kafi izzat mili hai sarpanch ke padh se, hume dar hai ki hum iss baar nahi Jeet payenge"
Closing my eyes to rest them, my eyebrows soothened when I felt her one hand over my left cheek and feeling her rubbing there softly, I heard her reply
"Hume baba aur aap per bharosa hai, hume vishwas hai ki aap jeetenge aur aapne in paanch(5) saal me sabke dilo me jagah bana li hogi Virat ji,
Aap humare baato per vishwas kariye, aap Jeet jayenge aur hum hamesha aapke sath hain"
Opening my eyes while looking at her, I saw a smile lingering on her lips and looking at the boxes sat under charpai while she has shifted closer to me, I asked with a slow tone
"Aur agar hum nahi Jeet paye toh?"
"Hum tabh bhi aapke sath hain"
Her reply made a small smile form on my lips and nodding my head while looking at her face, I chuckled when she winked at me smoothly between the eye contact and coming closer, I embraced her into a soft hug
"Sab sahi rahega Virat ji, aap chinta Matt kijiye hmm"
Listening to her while nodding my head, I smiled when I heard her humming a soft tune again while stroking my back and snuggling into the hug even more, I said
"Aap kafi manmohak gungunati hai"
Chuckling while listening to me, I could feel her getting excited over the words and making me look at her face, she smiled widely before replying
"Aur aap kafi manmohak gaa-te hai
Zara soch kar dekhiye, humara gun-gunana aur aapka gaana ga-na
Hum dono ek sath utni hi khoobsurat dor banate hai prem ki, jaise ki gaana aur gungunahat ek saath milkr ek khoobsurat geet banati hai"
She said excitedly and smiling at her words, I nodded my head acting amused and feeling her hitting my biceps knowing I am acting, I laughed before hugging her again
Playing with her hairs, I looked at her open hairs and getting curious at the braiding, I again took her hairs in my hands and brushing my fingers through her straight hairs, I muttered
"Kafi khoobsurat baal hai aapke biwi"
Smiling to the compliment, I saw her nodding her head before she muttered replied back
"Nazar laga kar uljha Matt dijiyega inhe"
Chuckling at her, I nodded my head with a smile and trying to braid her hairs, I parted them in three parts
Tangling the three parts together, I tried to figure out braiding and scoffing annoyingly at the fails, I sighed before trying to untangle the braid
Widening my eyes when I saw her hairs not parting nicely rather they got tangled and looking at her closed eyes as she was feeling soothened with me playing with her hairs, I bit my lower lip nervously
Brushing my fingers from her head to the ending of the hairs, my eyebrows knitted even more feelings my fingers stuck in between and trying to part the hair strands, my actions halted when she winced
"Ouch, kya kar rahe hai aap?"
"Ji kuch nhi" replying with hesitation, I closed my eyes annoyingly at her hairs before again trying to untangle them and hearing a moan of pain from her, I quickly took my hands back
"Ahhhh, ji kya kar rahe hai aap?"
Turning around while massaging her scalp, she glared at me and biting my lower lip, I chuckled at her while pretending that everything was okay
"Aap hume itna gurti hai, aapko sach me lagta hai ki hum aapki in choti aankho se dar jayenge biwi?"
Teasing her while wiggling my eyebrows, I said with a smirk and looking at her turning wholely towards me
She again glared at me but while widening her eyes this time
Laughing at her face, I poked my tongue out today before signalling towards my eyes
"Rehne dijiye, abhi bhi humari aankhein zyada badi hai aapse"
Teasing while laughing, I wince when she suddenly hit me on my biceps and glaring at me, she stated with a whinned tone
"Zyada zubaan laadane lage hai aap humse"
Scolding while standing up, I laughed even more watching her taking the lunch boxes in her hands while she made her steps towards the fields again in order to go back home
"Aare aaree, humari toh partiksha karein mohtarma"
Saying while hurriedly wearing my slippers, I paced up towards her and watching her walking while giving me a side eye, I chuckled before adding fuel
"Aapne hi toh kaha ki hum aapke sath reh kar kaafi badal gaye hai fir naraz kyu ho rahi hai aap rani sahiba"
Watching her turning towards me, I laughed when she punched me on my triceps and rubbing the area, I acted to wince and said
"Pati per haath uthati hai aap, maa ji ko sikhayat kar denge hum aapki"
"Karke dikhaiye shikayat, humne toh aapse shaddi aapko apni mutthi me band karne ke vishay se ki thi toh ya toh humse Darna shuru kar dijiye nahi toh ese hi maarenge hum aapko"
She complaint while glaring at me and showing me her fist,
Nodding my head while laughing at her, I tried to suppress my laugh when she whinned at me before trying to pace up her speed,
Laughing more harder at her words when she commented in between "bilkul gadhe ki hasi jaisi hasi hai aapki"
I quickly ran towards her and holding her from her waist from behind, I could hear her gasp when I lifted her in a bridal style all of sudden and wrapping her hand around my neck she looked at me amused
"Kyu taang kar rahe hai aap hume? Niche utariye!" She said while whinning and smiling to her, I shook my head in denial before making my way towards our way back home again with her in my arms but my laughter soon blended with hers when she laughed at me
Chuckling at her laughing face while her both hands soon wrapped around my neck, I felt her tapping my one cheek while she pretended to slap me and warned me
"Agli baar se humara mazak banayenge toh aapke liye Khanna nhi laayenge hum aur fir dekh lena, hum jaisa aalu jeera aapko koi banakar nhi khilayenga"
And with the laughter at her warning, we both made our way towards our home while the sun shines beautifully on the top
