He hadn't got a gift from a sibling before, so he was feeling overwhelmed and unsure about it. He sat in his room trying to compose himself and come to terms with the fact a sibling gave him a birthday gift for the first time. As he sat on his bed trying to figure out how to feel there was a knock on his door. Harry said "come in." the door opened and in came his dad. He gave a small smile to his dad. James said, "Harry is everything alright." Harry said "Just trying to sort out the confusing emotions with the first sibling gift I've received. It'sjust a lot right now." James said, "What did Daniel get you for your birthday." Harry said "A book on healing magic that I already have. I can't tell him that I already have it she would be heartbroken if I told him that. He thought about me, and Professor Snape helped him with it." James said, "Daniel is a good boy and Severus helped him did he."
Harry said "Daniel said the man helped him pick it out. It was a good idea since I want to be a healer, but Poppy gave me the book to study since this year I'll start healing lessons with her." James said, "Aren't you a little young to start healing apprentice." Harry said "No most full healers start at my age since it takes ten years to train and then I need to practice with Poppy or at Saint Mungos for another five years. So, I'll start now." James said, "Alright if, you are sure. Can you do it and take your OWLs." Harry said, "Yes dad it be fine." the rest of the day went well, and they were headed off to school again. School went well and Harry flourished with Poppy as he started to learn to become a healer and practice the healing magic. Time passed and soon enough it was Christmas time once more. Charlie was planning a surprise visit to spend Christmas with his Harry. So, on Christmas morning he woke and opened presents five like always and walked to the astronomy tower to watch people. James had come up to the tower and waited for Harry to arrive. After a few minutes James said, "Happy Christmas Harry come join us in my chambers. There is a surprise for you."
Harry said, "Happy Christmas dad. There is what is it." James chuckled and said, "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." James and Harry talked on the way. When they entered the room, he looked around and his eyes landed on a red headed man that he had missed. Harry was ecstatic to find his boyfriend and ran over to him. The two hugged and kissed before Charlie pulled Harry down onto his lap in the chair he was sitting on. Charlie and Harry talked why the others opened presents. Charlie handed a gift to Harry and Harry gave a gift to Charlie. Charlie had given Harry a bracelet with a dragon tooth on it. Harry loved it just like Charlie loved the quidditch charm that Harry had given him. As the two watched a present landed in Harry's lap. Harry unwrapped the gift. The gift was simple and nothing fancy, but it was from Daniel. Harry smiled the boy seemed to have gotten help from Snape again. It was something that he had already. It was a miniature living statue of a hippocampus. Harry thanked Daniel for the gift. James gave Harry a book about advanced healing magic and potions. Harry thanked his dad for the book. It was a new book that he was going to buy.
Charlie and Harry went for a walk in the snow later that day and the two held hands the whole time. Charlie then walked Hary back to his dorm where the man kissed him goodbye before he left. He had to get back to Romania and the dragon sanctuary. Time passed and before they knew it, he was taking his OWLs. He would receive his results sometime during the summer. Samuel had graduated this year and would be starting work as soon as he found one. Sam wasn't sure what he wanted to do and was kind of waiting to see what his NEWTs looked like before making a decision.
