After the nurse left, she opened the door and entered the room. She saw him, after what felt like a century. Her eyes met his. She couldn't stop staring.
Jiya: Oye Kaddu, kitna weak hogya hai tu.
Abhi: (still in disbelief)
Jiya: Hello? (Snaps her fingers in front of him)
Abhi: (Now realises she is here for real) JIYA? Tu yaha? Sach me?
Jiya: Nahi, mera bhoot.
Abhi: But kaise? Kab? Kyu?
Jiya: Arey, arey shaant hoja.
Abhi: Tujhe just abhi maine DM kiya, aur tu yaha mere saamne? Nahi, yeh sapna hi hai.
Jiya: Arey baba, mai hu idhar yaar. (She pinches him)
Abhi: AHHHH! Pagal. Wait, tu sach me... (He gets up and hugs her tight)
Jiya: (She so wanted to hug him back but she didn't)
Abhi: (while hugging) Jiya, please, I know everything. Pichle 1 ghante se sab dekh rha tha. Isliye tujhe DM bhi kara that I want to talk. I know tu hurt hai, but please, mai tujhse 2 din baad mil rha hu. Jiya, i need it, bohot zarurat hai tere hug ki, please hug me back.
Jiya: (She needed it too, after all she had gone through for 2 days, it was THE ONLY THING she needed and she knew that he is not well right now, so he needed it too. Thus, she hugged him back)
This was SUKOON for both of them. Both melted into each other's arms. They were hugging so tight that there was not even space for air between them. They stayed like that, without speaking anything for 5 minutes. Then they pulled apart.
Jiya: Kaisa hai Abhi? Kya hua hai? Reports aagyi? Doctor ne kya bola? Admit kyu kiya sirf fever and BP low me? Kuch serious toh nahi hai na?
Abhi: Arey arey, shaant beta, shaant. Sab theek hai, kuch nahi hua. Dengue hai.
Jiya: Ohho, ek machar ne kya haal kardiya hai tera.
Abhi: Machar ne kuch nahi kiya, 2 din se kisi se door tha na mai, toh bimaar hogya.
Jiya: (didn't say anything, and looked away)
Abhi: Jiya, idhar beth, we need to talk. (He takes her hand and made her sit on the couch, and then sat next to her, she moved away from him a little bit and also left his hand. He was hurt by this, but he knew that she was hurt too.)
Jiya: Abhi, let's not talk about it right now.

Abhi: Wait, 4 baj rhe hai, mujhe realise bhi nahi hua. Ek second, tu itni raat ko akele hospital aayi? Tu pagal hai? Aur haa tujhe toh allowed nahi hoga phir tu kaise aayi?
Jiya: Actually, maine dimple aunty ko call kara tha. Unse request kari ki unki family permission mai use kar lu because aise end moment unhe Mumbai ki flight toh milegi nahi.
Abhi: (realising that she was hurt by what his mom had said and she still called her) Jiya, tune mummy se baat ki? After.. After everything?
Jiya: Abhi, I got to know you are not well, mujhe neend nahi aa rhi thi, i had to see you. So maine nahi socha baaki kuch. And plus, it was good that I called her. Vo bhi tensed thi poore din, unhe boldiya hai maine, ki aap so jaana, mai subah update de dungi.
Abhi: (looking into her eyes, spoke softly) Jiya, what did I do to have you in my life?
Jiya: (things were getting emotional again and she didn't want that) Chal, umm, tu ab rest kar, you need a good sleep for tomorrow, you need to get better, mai chalti hu okay?
Abhi: Tu pagal hai agar tujhe lagta hai mai subah ke 4 baje tujhe akele yaha se jaane dunga. Chup chap idhar ruk jaa. Subah chali jaiyo.
Jiya: Abhi, i can't. Mai rules ke against hu idhar. Kisi ne dekh liya toh problem ho jayegi.
Abhi: Mai hu na tere saath, jab tak mai hu, koi problem nahi hogi.
Jiya: (turned her face away after hearing this)
Abhi: Jiya. Idhar dekh. (She looks at him and now he speaks looking deeply in her eyes). I am ready to talk about everything. Sab sunne ko taiyaar hu. Jiya: Abhi, tu aise kyu bol rha hai jaise tu mujhse...
Abhi: Haan Jiya, karta hu mai.
Jiya: Kya?
Abhi: PYAAR, LOVE, MOHABBAT, sab. Whatever you wanna call it. I LOVE YOU JIYA. Jab tu evict hui thi, mujhe tab hi realise ho gya tha, tab se wait kar rha hu, ki tujhe kab bata paunga. These 2 days were horrible for me. Bohot miss kiya tujhe. Pichle 1 ghante me dil jo dukha hai na mera sab cheeze dekh ke mai bata bhi nahi sakta. But since you have said it, toh uss baare me baat aaj nahi karunga, but just know this, baat toh hogi, mai deserve karta hu teri gaaliya sunna, tera gussa, tera anger, bass tera silence nahi. And jab se tu aayi hai, tab se tujhe dekh rha hu, paas hokar bhi paas feel nahi ho rhi. Mai mehsoos kar paa rha hu, ki tu kitna hurt hai, jabse aayi hai, physical distance maintain kar rakha hai, emotional distance toh hai hi. Mai 2 din se tera paas hona crave kar rha tha, and tu abhi saath hai, tab bhi vo craving nahi gayi. Jiya, I FUCKING LOVE YOU. Please can we pause everything and just be with each other right now? Kya hum aaj ke liye sab bhul nahi sakte?
Jiya: (she was shocked) Abhishek, you are high on medications right now. Isliye tu kuch bhi bol rha hai, you don't know what you are saying, just sleep it off. Subah sab normal ho jayega.
Abhi: (he pulled her so tight and encircled his arms around her waist, his hold was deadly, and now he was directly looking into her eyes) Jiya, I know what i am saying, i am in my senses, I LOVE YOU DAMMIT, SO SO MUCH. Tu kaise bol sakti hai sleep it off, pyaar hai, koi nasha nahi jo so ke utar jayega.
Jiya: Abhishek, how do you expect me to believe you after everything? Think about it from my perspective also na. Mai kaise maan lu? (tears started coming out)
Abhi: Acha, acha, chup, pehle stop crying (hugs her) Dekh, tu bimaar insaan ko kitna pareshaan kar rhi hai (jokingly)
Jiya: (realises, and pulls out of the hug) Shit, sorry, dekha, isliye nahi karni thi mujhe iss baare me baat. Chodh sab kuch. Everything is secondary. Sab kuch baad me dekh lenge. Abhi tujhe kya chahiye bata?
Abhi: (Holding her waist and looking in her eyes) Tu, tera pyaar, tera care, tera attention.
Jiya: (thinks and then says) Okay, theek hai, but only for today. Kyuki you need it. Don't think ki sab solve hogya hai humare beech.
Abhi: Don't worry. Terko poora mauka doonga gaaliya dene ka, chillane ka, gussa karne ka, phir hi aage badhenge. Bass, aaj pyaar ki zarurat hai.
Jiya: Kisne kaha aage badhenge? Agar sab solve hua, toh sirf friends tak hoga, usse aage ab kuch possible nahi hai Abhishek. If you have seen everything, you know ki nobody wants us to be together, including your family.
Abhi: Rahi baat family ki, vo aap mujh pe chodh do, vo kaam mera hai, mai sab theek kardunga. And baaki, i don't give a fuck what anybody else thinks. Jo ek bandi matter karti hai, uska opinion matters. Toh bata, (looking in her eyes, they were still close, he was holding her) YOU STILL LOVE ME RIGHT?
Jiya: (looking away) No i don't.
