The night of the comet - episode 2.
•• Mystic Falls high school
BONNIE AND ALYSSA WERE TWO REGULAR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS....Or so they thought.... They went to Mystic Falls high school, just like any other students, and didn't believe in any of the mystical stories their grams told them. Bonnie and Alyssa were skeptical....
As they were walking down the hallway in the high school, telling Caroline what their grams and her stories of them been witches.
'I'm confused. Are you guys psychic or clairvoyant?' Caroline asked, trying to understand the conversation.
'Technically, Grams says Bonnie and I are witches. Our ancestors were these really cool Salem witches or something... I fall asleep halfway,' Alyssa replied nonchalantly.
Caroline and Bonnie chuckled at her comment. 'Grams tried to explain it all, but she was looped on the liquor so I kinda tuned out. Crazy family, yes. Witches? I don't think so,' Bonnie added.
Alyssa, on the other hand, seemed to think being a witch was pretty cool.
'I think it's pretty cool,' Alyssa said with a shrug.
Caroline looked at her friends wide-eyed and shook her head. 'Yeah yeah, well, then... feel free to conjure up the name and number of that guy from last night.'
'I didn't see him, you did. Why didn't you just talk to him?' Bonnie asked.
'I don't know. I was drunk. And little miss Aly.. hey!' noticing that Alyssa wasn't paying attention. 'Are you even listening?' Caroline said, Alyssa snapped out of her thoughts and looked at her friends. 'No, sorry. I zoned out... what happened?'
Caroline rolled her eyes and continued, 'Did you see him?' Alyssa shakes her head 'No, why? Because you were too busy eating...' Caroline says with a playfully tone
'A girl's gotta eat, Caroline,' Alyssa replied with a smirk.
The three friends laughed and continued on their way to class...
•• Mystic Grill
BONNIE, ALYSSA, CAROLINE AND ELENA FOLDING THE PAMPHLETS... sitting outside the Grill. Bonnie suddenly interjected, 'Well, I was talking to Grams, and she said the comet is a sign of impending doom. The last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death.'
Alyssa, exclaimed with a hint of excitement, 'So much blood and carnage, it created a bed of paranormal activity. Awesome, right?'
Elena, Bonnie and Caroline couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm, with Caroline teasingly commenting, 'As your best friend, I just want to point out how extremely disturbed you are' Caroline looks between Bonnie and alyssa 'And then you poured Grams another shot and she told you about aliens.'
Alyssa rolled her eyes at Caroline's remark, 'Guys, back to me. The whole Stefan situation,' Elena said, shifting the conversation to her current romantic entanglements.
Alyssa and Bonnie rolled their eyes in unison, while Caroline nodded a yes let's talk about Stefen and Elena.
'Boring,' Alyssa stated, causing Caroline and Bonnie to laugh, while Elena let out a sigh.
'Yeah, let's' Caroline said, with a mischievous glint in her eye. As Elena continued to talk about her relationship with Stefan, Alyssa mindlessly ate her food without paying much attention. Caroline then interrupted with a teasing comment, 'So, then nothing? No sloppy first kiss or touchy-feely of any kind?'
Elena shook her head and replied, 'Nope. We didn't go there.'
"Slipping into a coma boring" Alyssa says pretending to fall asleep. Bonnie slightly laughs at her cousin.
'Not even a handshake? I mean, Elena, we're your friends. You're supposed to share the smut,' Caroline joked, earning a playful eye roll from Elena.
'We just talked for hours,' Elena said.
Alyssa looks at her friend puzzled expression... wait.. so she didn't even kiss.. what Is wrong with her... 'Okay, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already!' Alyssa says to Elena pointing her folk at her
Caroline and Bonnie couldn't help but laugh at Alyssa's bluntness, while Elena shook her head, unable to come up with a valid explanation.
'Right! Aly's right.. It's easy,' Caroline said, mimicking a high school teacher. 'Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex!'
Alyssa points her folk at Caroline with a nod of approval... Elena let out a small laugh at her friend's humor. Elena got up from the table, leaving them in shock.
'Where are you going?' Bonnie asked, confused.
'Caroline's right. It is easy. If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying I was going to do,' Elena repeated, as she walked away.
As Alyssa and Bonnie exchanged glances, Caroline leaned in and said with a smirk, 'She's weird.'
•• Gilbert Residence
ELENA WAS TALKING TO HER SUNT JENNA ABOUT WHAT HSD HAPPENED... 'He's on the rebound and has raging family issues,' Elena sighed
Jenna nodded sympathetically, 'Well, at least it's an ex-girlfriend. Wait till you date a guy with mommy issues or cheating issues. Or amphetamine issues.'
Before Elena could reply, Jeremy walked in with Alyssa. 'Jeremy? Jeremy, where were you?' Jenna asked, concerned.
'More stoner stories? Look, Jenna, I get it, you were cool. And so that's...that's cool,' Jeremy responded casually, causing Jenna to throw an apple at him in frustration.
'Ow! Why? Why...why did you do that?' Jeremy exclaimed, rubbing his head where the apple had hit him.
'Listen up! Quit ditching class or you're grounded. No discussion,' Jenna scolded.
'Parental authority, I like it. Sleep tight,' Jeremy replied sarcastically, heading upstairs to his room.
Alyssa turned to Jenna and said, 'Just give him time, you're doing great.'
Jenna nodded.
•• Jeremy's bedroom
Alyssa entered Jeremy's room, and he immediately noticed the apple in her hand. 'Is that the same apple Aunt Jenna hit me with?' he asked, amused.
Alyssa nodded, offering him a bite. 'Yeah, you want some?'
He took it from her, not intending to give it back. 'Hey, stoner boy,' she teased.
He smirked, taking a bite of the apple. 'A bite, not the whole thing. Get your own.'
'But it kind of is mine, considering it was thrown at me in my house,' Jeremy replied, leaning in to kiss her.
'Jeremy, we shouldn't be doing this aunt Jenna could walk in any-' Alyssa started to say, but he cut her off.
'I don't care.. I can't help it. Everytime i see you, all I want to do is.." his hands on her hips --"you make me so--" he trailed off, unable to find the right words, getting lost with lingering his fingers wanting to kiss her, teasing her..
'thats your brain flooding with phenylethylamine-'
'What?' Jeremy interrupted, looking confused.
Alyssa leaning in "touch, attraction, sex and lust" she says getting closer and closer to his neck teasing him.. which makes jeremy shiver..
'Then just say that, nerd,' Jeremy leaning in to kiss her again.
Alyssa pulled away, looking hesitant. 'And if Elena or Aunt Jenna walk in?'
'We'll have to be very quiet, won't we, princess?' Jeremy replied with a smirk, pulling her in for another kiss, now on top of her.
As Alyssa and Jeremy are making out on his bed, Elena walked by Jeremy's room and couldn't help but hear them... Elena slightly opened the door a little, which has both of the teens jump apart from each other, Elena slightly chuckles "Can I get you anything? Some snacks? A condom? Let me know! Oh, God love ya..' Elena says laughing at her self, using the quote mean girls quote mocking Mrs George words... Jeremy throws his pillow at her, and she laughs walking downstairs...
Downstairs, Jeremy's aunt Jenna reading a magazine ... Looks up at Elena walking down the stairs.
'Should I be worried about them?' Jenna asked her daughter, nodding her head in the direction of Jeremy's room.
Elena shook her head, 'Mom and Dad have always been okay with them being alone. We should just trust that they're not making any babies up there.' Elena slightly felt guilty.. saying that.. because it's exactly what they were doing seconds ago..
Jenna nodded in agreement, trying to calm her nerves, Elena smiled innocently.. But just as Elena thought they were safe from getting caught... Jenna had another thought. 'But maybe we should go check, just in case.' Elena slightly chuckles at her aunt.. and shrugs
Meanwhile, upstairs... Alyssa had promised Jeremy that she would let him have a 'high the natural way' if he finished his assignment first.
Jeremy leaning in for another kiss.
Suddenly, they heard a creaking on the stairs. Jeremy's bedroom door was slightly ajar, and they both turned to see Jenna and Elena peeking in.
'Come to tell me off some more?' Jeremy joked, amused at the thought of getting caught. But to his surprise, Jenna and Elena were not there to scold them.
'No, we were just...checking if you needed anything,' Jenna stammered, caught off guard. Elena couldn't help but laugh. 'Are you two actually doing homework?'
Jeremy and Alyssa looked at each other and slightly laughed. 'Yeah, is that why you came up here?' Jeremy asked, trying to play it cool.
Elena smiled and nodded, 'Yeah, I'm going to my room now. Have fun.'
As they left the room, Jenna and Elena couldn't help but giggle at their failed attempt to be 'undercover ninjas.' Elena confessed that they were 'very bad at it.'
Back in the bedroom, Jeremy and Alyssa couldn't stop laughing at the awkward encounter. But as they settled back into their studies, Jeremy couldn't help but admire Alyssa as she sketched a flower in her notebook, leaning in to kiss her..
'Hey, we're not finished yet,' she said, teasingly pulling her away from her his kiss.. Alyssa gave him a playful look before turning back to her work. 'No, no, assignment first. Then, we can do that.' She leaned in to give him a quick kiss, making him chuckle.
As Jenna and Elena sat in the kitchen.
'We should keep her,' Jenna said, referring to Alyssa.
Elena laughed, 'Definitely.' Jenna going into the freezer grabbing a carton of ice-cream and two spoons.
