Let's start with Oberoi Mansion which has been deserted for 2 years. There was a time when the morning of this house was filled with the aroma of breakfast prepared by Shivomaru, This is the same house which was alive with the love of these three brothers, but today it is no less than a graveyard.
People live here as if this is not a house but a hotel. Here, there is no fixed time for anyone to come or go, nor is there a fixed time for anyone to eat, nor is there a fixed time for anyone to sleep. Now this is not that house anymore...whose strong foundation were Shivaay, Omkara and Rudra. Because now Shivomaru is no longer one, they are now divided into three different parts. They now no more fit into the dialogue we use to love saying...
"Ek dusre ke zaruri Hisse hai,
Ye ek kahani ke teen kisse hai"
Now they are no more different chapters of one story, the trio got split into three different stories.
Seeing all this, Dadi broke down from within and concentrated herself on worship. Kalyani Singh Oberoi was proud of the love between her grandchildren, she had faith in them, but today that trust has been shattered. But today there was more pain in her heart because today was Shivaay's birthday but he was not with her.
Every year on this day, there was no limit to the excitement and happiness in this house, but today this house was more silent than silence.
She remembers how every year her grandson would come to her early in the morning, touch her feet and take blessings and then all three brothers would perform aarti together.
But today there was nothing like that…maybe Omkara and Rudra don't even remember Shivaay's birthday.
Suddenly Dadi saw that Rudra had come from outside, perhaps he had just returned from the office, his coat was now hanging from his shoulders and his shirt was also in disarray.
She took the Aarti plate and went in front of Rudra.
Rudra saw his grandmother and bowed at her feet to seek her blessings. Dadi also caressed his head with great affection.
She then gave the prasad kept in the plate to Rudra.
Dadi: Do you remember what day it is today?
Rudra calmly accepted the prasad and then looked at his grandmother with bitter eyes and said "That person is dead for me...that's why I will eat this prasad not as his birthday prasad but as his death anniversary prasad."
Dadi was shocked and looked at Rudra with disbelief.
Rudra went away ignoring Dadi's reaction.
Rudra came to the kitchen, took out a bottle from the fridge and started drinking water. He put the bottle back in the fridge and started leaving from there when his eyes fell on the kitchen platform.
He moved towards that platform and touched it, while touching the platform, all those old memories of Rudra became alive. This is the same kitchen where he and Om used to make cakes together for their beloved brother Shivaay and Shivaay used to sit on this platform and adore both of them.
The cream of that cake was applied less on the cake and more on the cheeks of all three.
"You are missing your brother a lot, right?", he heard Bhavya's voice.
Rudra did not say anything and just stood there with anger showing in his eyes.
Bhavya: Rudra, it has been 2 years...you also know very well that it was not Shivaay bhaiya's fault, it was just an accident.
Rudra got angry and shook Bhavya's hand from his shoulder.
Rudra: It was not an accident...Shivaay Singh Oberoi had killed my father with his own hands.
Bhavya: Rudra, we didn't even find father's body.
Rudra: That's what the point is! I hate it so much that, that bloody Shivaay Singh Oberoi did not even allow us to perform the last rites of my dad.
Because of that person my mother is a widow today, I hate even the name of that person and this hatred will always remain.

Here in Omkara and Gauri's room, Omkara was busy making a painting and Gauri was sleeping.
After completing the painting, Omkara looked at the painting and his eyes were filled with hatred and emotion.
Om's Pov:
You have ruined everything Shivaay...everything.
Today is your birthday but I am not with you...of course how can I join in the happiness of my father's murderer? Yes, I hated my father all my life, but whoever he was, whatever he was, he was my father. Even today I can't believe it Shivaay that you have taken my father's life, for you I and Rudra were your brothers later and your children first.
Then why did you do this to us Shivaay?
Today my mother is in pain only because of you, today my grandmother has tears in her eyes only because of you, this whole house has broken down only because of you.
I and Rudy are shattered Shivaay...because of you. Our Rudy has lost his innocence, we lost you...our bond, the charm of the house because of you Dam it!! Just because of!
Om's Pov ended.
He sprinkled black paint on the painting and then pushed it away. Gauri woke up to the sound of the painting falling and saw Om leaving the room in tears and anger.
She called out Om but perhaps the sound did not reach his ears.
She picked up that painting and turned her gaze to it.
And then she remembered that today is Shivaay's birthday.
Gauri looked with helpless eyes towards the path through which Om had just passed.
Gauri knew very well that form last 2 years Omkara was trying to hate Shivaay, but he failed to hate his brother and thus he started hating himself. Guari knew this very well that Om loved his brother Shivaay the most in this world.
But just because of this misconception that Shivaay is Tej's murderer, Om has buried his emotions in his heart.

On the other hand, across the seven seas, Shivaay had created a small world of his own with Anika, Pinky, Shakti, Khanna and his two cute pets.
Today was Shivaay's birthday but he had not celebrated it for the last 2 years. He had distanced himself from every festival, every happiness.
Whenever Anika tried to include him in the celebration, he avoided it by making some excuse or the other.
Gradually, everyone stopped talking to Shivaay about this. They all wanted Shivaay to be happy and he used to live in front of them with a false mask of smile but everyone knew that his happiness was false.
Shivaay's every happiness was always incomplete without Om and Rudra and that is why he stopped involving himself in happiness.
But Anika never lost hope, despite Shivaay's refusal, she always keeps trying.
Even today...Anika was making a small effort,
Annika wanted to connect with Dadi in India on video call so that Shivaay's smile returns on this birthday, atleast for a while.
Shivaay was standing in his balcony, when Anika came from behind and hugged him.
Shivaay placed his hand on Anika's hands and smiled slightly.
Anika gently kissed Shivaay's cheeks and whispered in his ears.
Aanika: Happy Birthday my SSO!
Shivaay turned back and joined Anika's head with his own.
Shivaya: Thank You sweetheart!
Aanika: there's a suprise for you
Shivaay: You know I don't celebrate my birthday.
Anika: Yes I know you don't celebrate your happy birthday.
Shivay: Its not Happy Birthday its just birthday.
Anika smiled on their usal things and held iss hand and took her towards the bed making him sit in front of the laptop.
She turned on the laptop
Anika: Look who has come to talk to you.
As soon as Shivaay placed his eyes on the laptop screen, his eyes started getting moist.
On the other side was Dadi from whose mouth came the words which Shivaay had been longing to hear for a long time.
Dadi: Billu!!
