Like the temptations of the devil, you made me want you near.
You were still an enigma to me even though I knew you a lot.
Our relationship, ethereal, mysterious, completely out of this world.
But in it, you were a maze to me, cascading my thoughts into a labyrinth.
Of self-doubts and second thoughts, you left me questioning many things.
The start of the relationship, till the end, I found myself deep in solitude.
I don't understand how I could feel alone even when I had you.
You gave me aurora of scars in many beautiful ways.
You cracked the glass of my heart and then set everything ablaze.
Your mischief knew no bound, it rid my life of any and all euphoria.
Now I'm a wanderlust, broken-hearted writer who writes their pain away.
The twilight of our love, the start of my melancholy.
The thoughts that once excited me now leave me haggardly.
I wish to find peace in this heartbreak, be tranquil again.
Resilience is my motive, despite me going through all this pain.
