Juliet sat on her bed, scrolling through her playlist, trying to decide what to listen to next.
She had been looking forward to spending the evening immersed in music, but something was missing.
She needed someone to share the experience with, someone who understood her love for music as deeply as she did.
Just as she was about to give up and settle for listening alone, her phone buzzed, signaling an incoming call from Walker. Curious, she answered.
"Hey, Walker," she greeted, a smile tugging at her lips. "What's up?"
"Hey, Juliet," Walker replied, his voice filled with excitement. "I know you wanted to listen to that new album together, but I have an even better idea."
Juliet's curiosity piqued. "Oh? What is it scobell "
"Close your eyes," Walker instructed, his tone playful.

Juliet hesitated for a moment before complying, closing her eyes and waiting, her heart pounding with anticipation.
Seconds passed, and then she heard the sound of movement on the other end of the line.
Confused, she opened her eyes and looked around her room, but everything seemed normal.
And then she saw it—a shadow moving outside her window.
Her heart skipped a beat as she realized what was happening.
Juliet's heart raced as she saw Walker's mischievous grin through the window. She couldn't believe he was standing there, outside her room, after she had just been talking to him on the phone.
"Walker!" she whispered urgently, trying to keep her voice down as she opened the window wider to let him in. "What are you doing here?"
Walker climbed through the window with practiced ease, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I couldn't resist," he admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. "I wanted to see you in person."
Juliet couldn't help but laugh at his antics. "Your brain is really full of kelp ," she teased, shaking her head fondly. "How long have you been out there?"
Walker's grin widened. "Since before you called," he admitted. "I ran over as soon as I saw your number pop up on my phone. I finished my run just in time to answer."
Juliet shook her head in disbelief, but she couldn't suppress the smile that spread across her face. Despite his unconventional methods, she couldn't deny that his spontaneity was part of what made him so endearing.
"Okay, come in," she said, stepping aside to let him through the window. "But promise me you won't scare me like that again."
Walker held up his hands in mock surrender. "No promises," he teased, stepping into her room and closing the window behind him.
Juliet rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't hide the fondness in her gaze as she handed him an AirPod. "Here," she said, offering him one. "Let's listen to that album together."
As they settled onto the bed, their shoulders brushing against each other, Juliet couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and contentment wash over her.
Despite the unexpected detour, she was exactly where she wanted to be—in the company of someone who understood her in a way that no one else did.
Walker grinned mischievously as he began to sing, using his hand as an imaginary microphone. "Who's afraid of little old me?" he belted out, his voice exaggerated and theatrical.
But before he could finish the line, Juliet couldn't help but laugh and playfully interrupt him. With a mischievous smile, she reached out and placed her hand over his mouth, muffling his singing
Juliet's cheeks flushed. "You're crazy," she whispered back, shaking her head in disbelief. "You know my parents would freak out if they saw you here."
Walker shrugged, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Where's the fun in playing it safe?" he teased
Juliet couldn't help but laugh at his audacity. "You're impossible," she muttered, though there was a fondness in her voice that she couldn't deny.
But as the minutes ticked by, the fear of being discovered began to gnaw at Juliet's nerves. "Walker, you have to go," she whispered urgently, her eyes darting towards her bedroom door. "My parents could come in at any moment, and if they see you here..."
Walker sighed, but he knew she was right. Reluctantly, he stood up from the bed, giving Juliet a playful pout. "You're no fun," he teased, though there was a hint of disappointment in his voice.
Juliet rolled her eyes, but there was a smile tugging at her lips. "You're lucky I let you in at all," she countered, standing up beside him. "Now, go before we both get into trouble."
With a final grin, Walker leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to Juliet's cheek. "See you soon," he whispered, before slipping back out the window and disappearing into the night.
As Juliet watched him go, she couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth in her chest. Despite the chaos and uncertainty of his visit, she couldn't deny that she enjoyed every moment of it. And as she closed the window behind him, she couldn't help but wonder when she would see him again.
