A/N: this my AU so if you feel uncomfortable reading this please move on or don't read this chapter. With my OCs which are only mentioned once in this AU
Avery and Emily are sisters and they are both sisters of Lucas and they came from Texas to tell Lucas that pappy Joe passed away from an illness and Lucas becomes angry and starts throwing things and yelling at his friends and Zane his best friend tells Riley, Maya, smackle, Cory, topanga, Ava, Auggy, farkle to leave and go somewhere safe so they don't get hurt because he's the only one who can calm Lucas down when he's upset
And then Zane tells his friends to get as far away from Lucas as possible because he doesn't want them to get hurt while he's grieving so they all nod and leave and go to a hotel in New York which is where they live and Cory being the teacher tries to explain to Ava and auggy who are scared of what happened to Lucas
Soon Zane comes to the hotel and says "Lucas is not himself he's angry and full of rage" and Maya being the one who protects Lucas also grows worried
So Lucas ends up at a mental hospital for a few days because of his outbursts and they help him process his grief there so he can't hurt anyone or his
Cory suggested it to him and Lucas agreed
A few months later Lucas escapes the hospital and becomes a criminal for robbery and more so he ends up in prison and Cory tells everyone that the Lucas they knew is gone and that they should move on with their lives
Soon Zane gets determined to get his best friend back but fails
So they leave New York and move to another state which is Wisconsin
They start a new life and soon forget about Lucas and Maya becomes an artist and Riley becomes a writer because of her imagination and Cory continues teaching like Feeny and topanga becomes a stay at home mom and farkle becomes a scientist along with smackle and Zane becomes a pro football player
And Lucas sadly becomes a distant memory to them even Zane
