──𝐘/𝐍 was just walking besides her brother and his girlfriend. Draken and Emma in front of them, Emma was trying to reach a stall of sweets while Drake just remain standing
"You can do it, Emma-chan!" Hina encourage beside Takemitchi "heh? When did you guys become closer?" He asked as Hina smiles at him
"Not so long ago. She's really in love with Draken-kun. Emma-chan is so cute and Draken-kun just can't see it... To the point she got out of control just to make Draken-kun jealous, though... I still doesn't forgive you." Hina sternly glared at her boyfriend as she fastened her pace at walking while Takemitchi tried to consult her
Y/N is just... Yep, fazed. She wasn't really planning to go to the festival, however their mom convinced her since it's been a long time since she experienced festivals again
She stared at the couple with a bored look, she glanced at the tanglulu fruit store. A hum left her mouth as she smiles
"I wanted to know how these sweets taste again" she mumbled and brought an apple, pineapple, and strawberry mixed with grapes tanglulu
She just left the couple since she wasn't really planning to be third wheel either. While eating and walking at the stalls a flashbacks runs at her mind again as she stopped walking
"....Hayashi" she murmured
Flashback;
Y/N yawned walking Pochi early in a morning. After paying Pah-chin a visit, and getting his permission of taking of Pochi, she gladly took him home
Although she's still sleepy, the dog seems to be so energetic. She just giggled at the dog's behavior. It's actually surprising how he got warmed up to her easily when the chibi Revenger showed that he wasn't really getting along with Peh-yan (except Draken)
While walking and planning to go to the park, she saw a familiar figure at the bench. It's Peh-yan, he looks gloomy
She grinned and slowly walked towards him and leaned closer to his ear from behind
"Boo" he screamed and jumped making Y/N laugh. Peh-yan looked back at whoever the person dared to mess with him only to see the piss boy twin sister
"You're... Y/N?" He averted an eye contact from her and sat at the bench again "go away, girl" he grumbled looking away
Y/N tilted her head and shrugged her shoulder "no way." She bluntly responded making Peh-yan look at her again only to get barked by, Pochi?
"He's.. Pochi-" *bark bark* pochi barked at him as he scooted away "don't bark at me!" He yelled as Y/N chuckled
She rubbed Pochi's head, in Peh-yan's shock, Pochi behaved and sat leaning more to the girl's touch
His jaw dropped "heh?! How did he warmed up on you?!" He questioned while Y/N just sat beside him "let's say I'm just his type of owner or something like that.
Hayashi-kun, how are you? You seems quite... Down." Y/N stated as Peh-yan flinched. He looked away and while Y/N leaned closer to him
"C'mon boy, what's wrong?" Y/N teased as Peh-yan blushed realizing that he haven't got any closer to a girl like this
He fell of the bench while Y/N looked at him "oh sorry." She bluntly said and pulled him to the chair again
A silence got between them, Pochi is now sleeping at her lap(the bench is 2.5 meter long)
"Don't be down, Hayashi-kun. I know you were going through something, but I know too that you will gonna get through it" she comforted huffing seeing Peh-yan startled by her words
"Why... Why do you even care." He grumbled as Y/N amusingly smirked at him "because you're a good friend. J just knew it" she replied making Peh-yan look at her
She's just looking down at Pochi who's sleeping at her lap, she's caressing his long golden brown fur gently
"... Do you think... I'm still a good friend even though... I betrayed my friends just to save my best friend?" He questioned as Y/N looked at him quite bothered
"If I'm being honest, that's quite hard to answer but, if your bestfriend is against at whatever you were doing, then you're the wrong one... I think.
Betraying your friends is like betraying your own bestfriend, specially if those friends are also important to your bestfriend." She explained her answer while Peh-yan admired her statement for long seconds
He gritted his teeth, not knowing if whatever he was doing is actually right. He just wants to save his friend, best friend. But... She's not wrong. Is Pah-chin even gonna be proud of this? No. Definitely not. Even though Pah-chin only have a few brain cells, he knows that friends are very important to him
But... He can't just back down. His eyes darkened. No he's doing this for his bestfriend. He can't just... Back down.
He glanced at Y/N seeing her smiling at Pochi. He gulped his own saliva "Y/N. Are you... Are you gonna attend at the festival later?" He questioned as Y/N stared at him
Before she can even answer he already blocked her "If you are, don't go. It's... It's for your own good" he said in hesitant and walked away
Y/N looked at his back and smiled "he's worried huh... And here I thought I could change a thing.
So... Plan B it is" she said to herself and Pochi suddenly licked her cheeks. She looked at him and laughed "do you want to go home now?" Pochi just barked in response
End of flashback
Y/N sighed and looked at her tanglulu '...whatever. I'm just gonna hope that he's alright' she mumbled to herself
She started eating her apple tanglulu when suddenly a drop of water caressed her cheeks. She looked up when the drop of water turned into a shower of rain
A grunt left her mouth as she ran towards the tree, taking shelter of it. She looked at her tanglulu seeing it started melting
"...well, I should go now."
