Y/n stepped into Tahir's room and glanced around. The room was a mix of blood red and black, just like Tahir himself, which made her chuckle darkly. He gazed at her as she explored the bedroom, then he grabbed her arm, causing her to look at him. In his deep, husky voice

"Tumne hame dhoka kyu diya"

(Why did you betrayed me)

"Dushman se rishta joda hai.. Dhoka to khaoge ji"

(You made relation with an enemy, you have to be betrayed)

With a sinister grin, she forcefully yanked his hand, causing him to shoot her a glare. Romance was the last thing on her mind; she was here to take away his joy and uncover the identity of the individual responsible for attempting to end her life with that fiery incident. Y/n's gaze landed on a woman entering the room with a grim countenance. Durgavati approached Tahir and spoke

"Kya ham iss yudh ko rokne ki vajah jaan sakte hai tahir"

( Can I know the reason to stop this war.. Tahir)

Tahir fell silent upon hearing Durgavati's words. Throughout her entire life, she had remained unmarried and dedicated herself to taking care of him. Her ultimate desire was for him to ascend the throne of Hind and fulfill her late sister's final wish. However, he had the opportunity to achieve this but instead chose to halt the war midway, thereby shattering everything. This war held immense significance for both of them, yet he sacrificed the throne for his own personal reasons. In making this monumental decision, he displayed a lack of concern for his mother's dying wish and disregarded her entirely

"Ham hai vo vajah"

(I am that reason)

Y/n spoke in her deep, husky voice, causing Durgavati to gaze at her intently. Her words seemed to falter momentarily as she observed y/n up close. It was as if she was looking at her older sister, as y/n exuded the same dark and confident aura. Durgavati noticed that y/n's blue eyes had darkened while fixed on her, momentarily causing her to doubt herself. Y/n's intense expression had the power to silence anyone in their tracks

"Ye y/n hai.. Hamaari ardhanagni"

(She is y/n... My wife)

Y/n and him exchanged glares as they spoke, their eyes locked in a silent battle. Durgavati observed the tension between them, realizing why Tahir had chosen to marry her and give up the throne of Hind. He noticed his mother's influence in her, and he was determined to fulfill his mother's dream after being captivated by the princess of Rajgarh. He halted the war for her sake

"Aapke putra ne ye yudh hamaari vajah se roka"

(Your son stopped this war for me)

Y/n gazed at Durgavati with an emotionless expression, contemplating the possibility that she could be Tahir's true mother. The way Durgavati interacted with him, asserting her complete authority over him, led Y/n to believe this. A smile graced Tahir's face upon hearing Y/n's words, as he found solace in the idea that Durgavati could be his mother. Durgavati let out a soft chuckle and responded

"Ham tahir ki mata ki chhoti bahen hai... Tumhe dekhne ke baad hi hame pata chal gaya tha ki uss yudh ki rukne ki vajah tum ho"

(I am the younger sister of tahir's mother, after seeing you I already got to know that you're the reason why war got stopped)

Y/n becomes perplexed upon hearing her words. Durgavati gazes at Tahir, who returns her gaze with a nervous smile, fearing her reprimand. He is aware that she must be furious with him for his actions, but to his astonishment, she tenderly smiles and gently strokes his hair before speaking

"Hame tumpar pura bharosa hai... Tum apni rani ke saath hind ke takht par baethoge"

(I have full faith that you will sit on the throne of hind with your queen)

Tahir grinned broadly at her before she moved away, Tahir glanced at y/n who was simply staring at him with her typical blank expression. A sinister smirk crept onto his face, causing her to feel a bit uneasy. He placed his hand around her waist and drew her closer to him, causing her eyes to widen in shock. She attempted to push him away, but he tightened his grip and spoke

"Ab to tum hamaare kamre me hamaari ardhanagni banke aai ho... Ab tum kabhi hamse alag nahi ho sakti. Dhoke ka badla to zarur lunga mai tumse"

(Now you're in my chamber as my wife, you can never get apart from me. I will take revenge from you for betraying me)

She glared at him with intense hatred, attempting to break free from his hold, yet he refused to release her, causing her immense frustration. Anger coursed through her veins due to his behavior, but she remained immobilized, choosing silence as she continued to shoot daggers at him with her piercing gaze. His chuckle escaped his lips as he witnessed her glare, unaware that he found it endearing when she looked at him with those striking blue eyes of hers

"Usne hamaare khilaaf jaakar ek aesi kanya se vivah kiya jo hamaari izzat bhi nahi karti"

(He marry a woman who didn't even respect after getting against me)

Rawal Singh, wearing an expression of anger, contemplated his elder son. He acknowledged that he had never displayed his affection and concern for Tahir, but it did not imply that he despised his own flesh and blood. Tahir was the embodiment of his love and the product of his first wife's affection, whom he cherished above all. Every time he laid eyes on Tahir, memories of his wife hit his mind

"Bachpan se durgavati ne usse aapse dur rakha isliye ab usse koi farak nahi padta ki uski ardhangni aapko izzat kare ya nahi"

(Since childhood durgavati make him stay away from you now he don't care if his wife respect you or not)

Kalyani's face remained devoid of emotion as she contemplated this opportune moment to sway the king's opinion against Tahir. Tahir's aspirations to ascend the throne of Hind seemed futile if the king were to harbor animosity towards him. Rawal, on the other hand, gazed up at the night sky with a vacant expression. Tears welled up in his eyes, realizing that it was not his son's fault for distancing himself. The blame lay solely on his shoulders for neglecting to show care for his son, a mistake that now seemed irreparable

"Ham to keh rahe hai ki aapko ab aadi ko raja bana hi dena chahiye"

(I am telling you that you should now make aadi the king)

As she approached him with a smirk, he quickly wiped away his tears, making sure she wouldn't see them

"Hame thode der ke liye akele rehna hai"

(I want to be alone for sometimes)

After listening to his words, she turned and left the place. Meanwhile, Rawal Singh approached the large golden box and proceeded to open it. Inside, he discovered a collection of his late wife's belongings. Gently, he picked up her bangles and tears welled up in his eyes as he reminisced about her. He vividly recalled the day he performed all the funeral rites for her. Since her passing, he had refrained from displaying his true emotions to others. She had been the sole individual who loved him for who he was, not because of his royal status

"Hamara tahir bada ho gaya hai indraani... Usne vivah kar liya hai. Jis ladki se usne vivah kiya hai uska ghamand bilkul tumbaare jaisa hai"

(Our tahir have grown up indraani, he got married. The woman he married have the same attitude as yours)

Y/N's words provoked his anger, yet he cannot deny witnessing his indraani in her. Now he comprehends why Tahir chose her over the throne of Hind; Tahir never laid eyes on his mother, but he always heard tales about her from his chhoti maa. He must have perceived his mother in Y/N, believing she would bestow upon him the love he had never experienced before, hence his decision to marry her

"Maa ki yaad aa rahi hai"

(Missing maa)

Rawal Singh turned around and noticed Tahir standing a short distance away, wearing a blank expression. Tahir's gaze met his father's bloodshot eyes, as they had never engaged in a proper conversation before. Clearing his throat, Tahir spoke up

"Iss yudh ko hamne roka hai maharaj, iski vajah se hamaari ardhangini par gussa mat dikhae. Uski koi galti nahi hai, yahi bolne aaya tha yaha"

(I am the one who stopped this war, don't show anger on my wife because of this. She didn't did any mistake, I just come here to say this)

Rawal Singh nodded in agreement upon hearing Tahir's words, a small incident flashing through his mind. He vividly recalled the time when Indraani, his wife, accidentally broke his mother's favorite Vermillion box. Despite his mother scolding her, Rawal stood up for Indraani, surprising his mother with his protective nature towards his new bride. As Tahir began to walk away, Rawal stopped him and spoke

"Tahir ruko.. Hame tumhe kuch dena hai"

(Tahir stop... I want to give something to you)

Tahir nodded his head and stood there, gazing at Rawal as he began to remove some exquisitely carved boxes from inside the large box. Holding each box carefully, Rawal walked towards Tahir, who simply watched him. Rawal gestured for Tahir to hold the boxes, which he did. Tahir gazed at the boxes with a puzzled expression; they were heavy and adorned with beautiful carved designs and stones. Rawal Singh softly looked at his son and spoke

"Iske andar tumhaare maa ke gehne hai, ab inpar tumhaari ardhangini kaa hak hai"

(This are your mother's jewelry , now your wife have rights on them)

"In bakso ke andar kya hai tahir"

(What are inside this boxes tahir)

Kalyani gazed at Tahir with a puzzled look as he carried numerous exquisite boxes. She had never seen such beautiful boxes in her entire life; they appeared to be crafted from gold and precious jewels. Tahir met her gaze with a sinister smile and spoke

"Aapko yaad hai aapne kaha tha ki maharaj ne hamaari maa ke saare gehne aapko diye the... Vo jhuth tha na"

(You remember that you told me that king give all my mother's jewelry to you.. That was a lie right)

Kalyani's complexion turned ashen upon hearing his words. He clenched his teeth as memories flooded back of what she had said to him when he was just 10 years old. She had informed him that his father had handed over all of his mother's valuable jewelry to her, claiming she had assumed the role of his mother. From that day on, he harbored a deep resentment towards his father for giving away his mother's jewelry to another woman. He had never laid eyes on his mother's jewelry, so whenever Kalyani adorned herself with precious jewels, he couldn't help but feel a sense of bitterness, as if they rightfully belonged to his mother

"Aapki shakal bata rahi hai ki aapne jhuth bola tha hamse... Aapke ek jhuthe ne mujhe kitna dard diya hai ye aap soch bhi nahi sakti"

(Your face is clearly saying that you lied to me, you didn't even know how much pain I handled because of that one lie of yours)

He shouted at her, causing her to flinch, and she hurriedly entered the King's room to avoid fainting from Tahir's furious gaze. He gazed at the boxes containing his mother's jewelry, feeling as though he held the most valuable possessions in his hands. Slowly, he made his way towards his room, handling the boxes delicately to ensure his mother's belongings remained safe
