12 years later:
A twelve year old boy, named Percy Jackson, lays upon a cot in an infirmary.
And although his head is pounding, and his sea blue eyes are bleary, he thinks he sees an angel standing over his cot.
She has beautiful dark skin and long black braids that cascade down her back like she's some sort of princess. She glares at him with intelligent brown eyes that he could get lost in. Under her analytic gaze he suddenly feels self conscious about his disheveled sandy blonde hair.
"You drool in your sleep." The angel says with a half grimace, half smirk.
Percy knows he should feel insulted, but he only feels strangely at home as he drifts
off back into sleep. Knowing this strange girl is watching over him, he feels safe,
Warm.
