My name is Isabella Férnandez and you may know me for being the Marvel girl or maybe you don't know me at all. Whatever the case, I'm a young actress who wishes to have that job since I know how to talk. But I was young and naive, not knowing exactly how hard it was, that's why I work 24/7 and have to take some meds before I explode in front of everyone.
So yeah, that's my life in a few words. I don't have much to tell because I pass most of the time inside a set or in my house. And before you judge me, it's not my fault my house is super comfy and I just can't socialize like a normal human being. It's super hard when the people who should teach you about that whole spend their lives yelling or complaining about every tiny thing you did.
Yes, I'm talking about my crappy family. They are stupid and useless and thank god they are in Portugal because of their business. So long story short, when I started this they accepted so they had a motive to be far away from me but then cash started entering my bank account and their greedy selves started taking my money or part of it for themselves. I have been living with this for years, not knowing what to do or say without having a knife pointed at me.
Luckily, I'm legally an adult so I don't have to put with them as much. But yeah, I've got a shitty family, I'm an actress, oh and I'm dating... or at least I think that's the case. We never talked about that, but Percy- my boyfriend? friend?- is super cute with me and romantic. Although we aren't always together- busy life-, the moments we are feel like magic.
And even though I said I don't know how to socialize, I do have friends from different ages. I am pretty chill with everybody- maybe because I'm a people pleaser- so that explains why older people consider me as their daughter. Those older people I'm talking about are my Marvel sister (Scarlett), the queen Taylor Swift, my (hot) father, Chris Evans, and even Emma Watson (yes, EMMA WATSON).
And even though I have plenty more friends, a certain Latina brunette girl is my best friend for life. I'm talking about Jenna Marie Ortega, that girl is just amazing and she just completes every side of mine. She's crazy, weird, dark, and twisted like me and that's probably why when we met we never got apart anymore. We just understand each other in ways no one will ever and honestly I'm glad she is my platonic soulmate, I wouldn't like anyone else.
But let's stop with the small talk and let's get into action (not literally). So it's currently January 10, 2023, and this month I have to finish filming for my upcoming movie 'Scarlet Girl'. The making of this movie is quite tiring, my face is in almost every scene plus I'm the one who is co-writing.
I love to write stories, mostly novels and things about that, that's why all the movies I write are about it and why I co-write with a lot of people in that type of genre. I also have a movie of my own, but I have way more ideas in my head, I just need time and motivation to write it out.
But now, I need to focus on finishing filming for today. I'm super tired, I don't see sunlight for god knows how much time and I'm hungry. At least today is a simple day, all I have to do is pretend I'm going on a date with my co-star, and then... GUESS WHAT I WILL DO.
You don't know what, but maybe, just maybe, a brunette girl is on a flight right now and she's spending 1 month with me, which is the time until I stop filming this. It will be so much fun to be with her, although I have some sex scenes to film and she'll make fun of me.
"Earth calls Isabela," Hailee called me out, breaking me out of the trance. "You okay?"
"Yep," I get up from the floor- don't judge me, I was drawing- and look at the brunette girl who is just a few inches taller than me. "I was drawing something."
"Can I see?" I gave her the piece of paper, that had a drawing of Kate and Chloe together. "I've got a talent stalker."
"Oh shut up, I was drawing me," I take the paper back and walk towards the scenario we will be filming today. It consisted of a mall, although our scenes will mostly take place in the arcade and McDonald's.
"We are about to film Kate and Chloe's scene in the mall," Joe Russo says as me, Hailee and the extra are reunited. "This first scene is simple."
"All you have to do is play basketball on the machines, and then you drag Hailee to the table football," Anthony concludes, explaining this scene more to the others as I was the one who wrote it. "Everyone to their positions."
We did as they told us, walking in front of two basketball machines and waiting for them to tell us to begin.
"Action," then the clapperboard guy appeared in front of the camera saying everything he had to, leaving after which meant we could start.
Me and Hailee were just throwing balls at the machines and as the script says, I'm supposed to score way more than her that's mostly why she has to fail a lot. The time on the machine was over, I had scored 87 and she had scored 63 so my character won. Now I am supposed to grab her arm and run towards the table football. We 'play' against each other, smiling and looking at each other from time to time with that typical love gaze. At the end of the game, the camera got closer to the score which was 5-2 (I won again).
"And, cut," the director's voice sounded as the scene ended. "Let's move to the next scene."
"You'll be eating and Kate won't be able to stop looking at you," we got in positions, now inside a fake McDonald's. "And, action."
Our characters were eating cheeseburgers with fries and a Coke. This scene will be also short like the others and we don't have many lines. Hailee or well, Katy was looking at me with a loving gaze so I looked at her and started smiling.
"The whole staring thing might be a problem, Bishop," I said eating a fry while smiling at her.
"Is it now?" She chuckled and she was supposed to drink her Coke, but she started laughing and coughing making all of us laugh.
"You okay there?" She gives me a thumbs-up as she struggles to stop laughing.
"Are you ready?" We nod at our director's question and start the scene again. So we were sitting in a booth, with our cheeseburgers on the table and Kate was looking at my character with a loving gaze.
"The whole staring thing might be a problem, Bishop," I smiled at her, and she mimicked my actions.
"Is it now?" She asked, not dying this time.
"Yeah, I'm trying to eat," my smile grew increasingly as we were barely eating.
"You can eat, I'm just looking at your gorgeous face nothing more," I bury my face in my hands like I'm supposed to and Hailee grabs my hands and takes them from my face. "Don't hide it."
"Just let me eat, dummy," her hands are now in the air as I chuckle softly.
"Yes, ma'am," we smiled once more until she stopped looking at me like the script says. Hailee then looks at me again smiling, and I yell a 'stop' as I try to turn her face from looking at me.
"Cut," Hailee got up from the booth, offering her hand as we walked to Joe's side. "That was amazing girls, one more scene and you are done for today."
"Let's take 5 while they prepare everything," Joe's brother said and I went to sit on my canvas chair.
"When is Jenna coming?" Hailee bought her chair next to me so we could talk.
"I'm supposed to meet her at the airport after this," I offered her some snacks, which she accepted with a smile. Me and Hailee have known each other for a long time and I like her company because most of the time we can just enjoy our presence by being quiet.
"Everyone, the last mall scene is starting now," Joe and Anthony say in syntony which makes us both get up and walk to their side.
"Isabela, mind explain this scene?" Joe gave me a warm smile and I looked at everyone, a little anxious to talk to them.
"Uhm, yeah sure," I start speaking looking only into Hailee's eyes. "In this scene, I will be running away from you, then you catch me and we kiss."
"Okay, everyone to their positions," we did as he told and we were now only supposed to walk inside the fake mall. "And, action."
"Let's play a game," my voice sounded as I was hand in hand with Hailee for the scene. "Whoever gets first to the ice cream shop gets a free dessert."
"Okay, that's easy," we stopped in our tracks and turned to face the shop. "One."
"Two," I started running ahead of the time, making Hailee smile and run after me.
"That's cheating," I started running slower so she could reach me.
"No it's not," she grabbed me by my waist, flipping me around while my heart is beating super fast.
"Now you don't deserve the ice cream," I smiled at her, my breathing was now slower as well as my heart.
"I have a better ice cream," I pull her down by her collar and our lips smash against each other. I'm not feeling anything right now because first this is called acting and second I see her almost like a sister so the worst I could feel was weirdness.
"That was super corny," she pulled out of the kiss, resting her forehead on mine. "I like it."
"And I like you," then we kiss again, the director yelling cut making us laugh of embarrassment.
"That was amazing girls, you are free now," Joe said as I ran out of the scenario.
"Wait, Isabela don't forget your phone," Hailee yelled, laughing at how excited I was.
"Thank you," I said as I ran towards the exit again. It was it, I was finally going to see my best friend after months of not being able to.
