This book will not follow the events of the show completely because I can't be bothered to go back and watch the whole season again so for the sake of entertainment, I'm going to be injecting my own drama into the plot 😁

The tension in the villa seemed as though it was at an all time high after the verbal altercation between val and Georgia.
"Why don't we play a game? So we can come full circle to finish your first day in here." Molly suggested from beside Kaz. Callum and Valentina had finished their conversation and begrudgingly parted ways so that he could attend to whatever the heck Toby was doing.
"What game?"
"I need intel so I suggest Never Have I Ever." Vee wiggled her eyebrows and smiled as Molly laughed at the girl's antics.
"You know what, that's not a bad shout." The blonde replied, tapping her nails against the plastic gold champagne flutes that the producers had decantered the alcohol into.
"Wait." Val rolled her eyes and sat back down on the day bed just as she stood up. "Let me speak to Georgia first. I don't want this to be awkward, this drama will only make things hard for everybody to have fun." She breathed out. Her eyes fell on Hannah who raised her eyebrows knowingly.
"You mean it will be hard for you and Callum to have fun... Since he's coupled up with her."
Val hated how easily Hannah and Kaz could read her. She usually thought that hiding how she was feeling was her forte but boy was she sorely mistaken.
The musician playfully rolled her eyes and nudged the blonde Scouser with her index finger which caused Kaz and Lib to laugh.
She looked to her side where both Georgias were talking rather intensely about something, and sighed before getting up. "I'm just gonna be the bigger person and attempt to squash this before it blows out of proportion." Kaz, lib, Hannah and Molly gave the girl words of encouragement before she set off in the direction of the beanbags.
After taking a deep breath and a generous gulp of her drink, vee sighed and called Georgia's name.
"Georgia."
"Yes?" Georgia Steele and Georgia Harrison said simultaneously causing echoes of laughter from the islanders within earshot.
"I mean Georgia Steele - can we talk?"
The redhead sighed and motioned for Georgia H to go and join the other group, which personally, Val found quite disrespectful, and then patted the beanbag next to her.
"Look," Val sat down and looked at the girl in front of her. "For the sake of everybody else and my sanity, I don't want this to be a problem so on my part at least, I hold no grudge against you, this is all water under the bridge."
Georgia laughed and scanned her eyes around the villa to see if anybody was watching the conversation. "If you didn't want this to be a big deal, you wouldn't have made it a big deal Valentina." She repositioned herself a bit further away from Val and sighed.
"But I'll be the bigger person here and accept your apology."
"Apology?" Val laughed. "What apology? I'm squashing this before it turns into something bigger but I'm not apologising since I have nothing to apologise for." Georgia's audacity was bind boggling to Val, since Georgia started this whole debacle she should be the one apologising.
"If you are just going to go on the defensive then I'm not talking to you. It's childish at this point." Georgia spat. She stood up and walked away dramatically in the direction of the kitchen where the boys were loitering.
From the distance Callum watched with thoughts spiralling in his head. Being coupled up with Georgia was tiring yes, but she was fun and he enjoyed her company but on the other hand, Val intrigued him.

Valentina
"I'm genuinely confused about what just happened. The audacity that girl possesses is fucking scary." Val sighs and looks off behind the camera briefly before looking into the lens once again. "I'm not letting this get in the way of me having the time of my life though — this is such a nice bunch of people for the most part and I'm excited for what the future brings."

Liberty
"I've never been more confused in my life." She muttered, staring directly into the camera with a blank expression. "Val went over there to put the drama to bed and Georgia all but demanded an apology?"
"Fuck me sideways." Val exhaled, her heels clicked on the decking as she walked over to the girls once again. She huffed and pulled the strand of hair that had fallen from her bun, behind her ear.
As she sat down, the girls looked on at her with wide eyes.
"I'm not even delving into what just happened, let's just get on with the game so I can get into bed." She laughed.
"Everyone, let's go around the firepit for a quick game!" Lib yelled.
"I love your hair, you have to do mine like that for me tomorrow night." Molly whispered to Val as they made their way to the firepit and sat down next to each other. Val glanced over to the beautiful blonde and smiled kindly. "Of course babe." She whispered back.
Just as the pair turned their focus back onto the upcoming game, the flock of islanders arrived around the firepit and took a seat waiting for more information.
"Okay! So since Valentina is new here and we've all just met for the most part," lib started, making brief eye contact with Valentina before continuing her sentence. "We're going to play never have I ever."
Mitch widened his eyes and hummed. "I'll go first... Never have I ever cheated on a partner with their best friend."
Val abstained from drinking since the question didn't apply to her but she took note of the people that took a sip from their glasses; Mitch, Hannah and Jake.
Val decided to go next, she thought about her question for a few seconds and smiled when one popped into her head. "Never have I ever fancied another islander outside of the villa."
Both Georgias took a sip as well as Chris, Anton and surprisingly Callum.
Molly raised her eyebrows and turned to him with a questioning glare. "Who was it?" She asked. Her question caused a few others as well as Val, to lock their sights onto the Mancunian, all wearing the same questioning looks as the blonde sat beside Val.
Callum's eyes widened at Molly's question. Did he really want to answer that? Surely Molly wouldn't have a problem with it since it was technically after their relationship had ended.
"Truthfully... It was Val." He whispered. But, it was loud enough for everybody to hear.
To say that Valentina was shocked was an understatement — she thought that their introduction earlier that day was more than likely the first time Callum had heard of her, but looking back in retrospect, it was stupid of her to think that. She was a pretty well known musician in the UK and starred in one of the most successful seasons of love island.
"Oh." The blonde replied awkwardly but didn't pry for any more answers.
The game continued but all Val could feel was callum's hazel eyes fixed on her, every once in a while, she would look up to find him already staring at her with an undecipherable expression. Almost a look of realisation.

After the game finished everyone made their way inside, the girl's flocking upstairs to change out of their clothes and into pyjamas and the boys, into the bedroom to get ready for the night.
There wasn't much conversation as Val cleaned her makeup and took her hair out of it's bun, she massaged her head and put her hair into a looser bun atop her head. She changed into shorts and a tank top before giving each of the girls except Georgia S, a hug and making her way into the bathroom to brush her teeth.
"Long time no see."
Her head whipped around in search of the voice only to be met with the very gaze that had been fixed on her for the past thirty minutes.
"I'd hardly say that, you were practically undressing me with your eyes during that game." Val joked, squeezing some toothpaste onto the toothbrush in her hand.
"Ha ha." Callum retorted, poking the girl in her side playfully.
"No but genuinely, I'm really interested in you, you intrigue me." He whispered.
"Hmm, I gathered that from your little confession out there — I won't lie, can't say I'm upset." She replied, suddenly becoming very aware of their closeness as she looked in the mirror. She took note of how his expression softened and his hand inched closer to the one she had rested on the sink basin.
In a heat of the moment decision, she placed her toothbrush down and turned to face him with a determined expression. "What would you say if I kissed you?" She asked, taking a small step towards him.
"What would you say if I asked to kiss you?" Callum questioned, taking a small step towards her, closing the gap between them both.
The next several moments were a blur to both of them; his hand made it's way to the nape of her neck, brushing softly against her skin. Her hands made their way to his shoulders, enclosing together. Simultaneously, they leaned in and brushed their lips against each other's.
To Valentina, every nerve ending in her body ignited, a tingling sensation exploding through her body as his hand rested on her neck.
To Callum, his lips melted against her's and his heartbeat quickened under her touch.
Their lips moved in unison, fitting together like puzzle pieces, like how the sunset slowly melts into the horizon, an intricate symphony of oranges and reds that set the world on fire. It felt right.
But the moment was short lived. The pair peeled apart quickly as they were interrupted.
"Oh! They're fucking kissing!" Kaz whisper yelled to liberty as the duo made their way into the bathroom.
"Don't tell anybody!" Val exclaimed. "We don't owe anybody an explanation, let's keep this between us okay?"
Val and Callum exchanged awkward smiles as all four islanders brushed their teeth and made their way into the bedroom.
