the world is a cruel, cruel place. once your secret is revealed, there's no going back, no way from preventing the catastrophe. that's why i've learned not to care and even if i do, i try to lock it away in the deepest realms of my bones. because if you care too much, the world will try to snatch away that which you care about. the world will steal your smile and ask why you frown. the world is a carousel that never stops mocking you. so it's best if you don't care. and it's best if you do, keep your secrets to yourself. because even if it hurts for me to say this, you really, really can never trust anyone if you can't even trust yourself.
