Anushka and nandini sighed before knocking on the main door while balancing the matka over their head, Waiting for few moments, Their ears met with the metal ringing sound when the door opened revealing saraswati who smiled at them
Helping them with matka, saraswati assigned them aside the chullah and anushka and nandini took the breath of peace
"Haye ishwar, mein toh thak gyi" nandini mumbled tiredly when they both sat on small wooden stool making anushka chuckle
Nodding her head, nandini smiled at her chuckling before coming closer to put her face over anushka's shoulder
Anushka POV
I smiled at her adorable smile and raising my hand to pat her head while she kept her face over my shoulder, I brushed my fingers in her hairs slowly
These days we both usually spend time together when Virat ji is at farm and she is the sweetest person I've ever met
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard maa yelling something to nandini while making her steps inside one of the rooms "Nandini, kuch samay mein bachhe aate hi honge nirtay seekhne, taiyaar ho jao"
My eyebrows knitted in confusion hearing her and sparing a confused "hn?" I tilted my head to glance at nandini and she smiled looking at me
Lifting her head up, I saw her standing up and stretching her body while answering my unasked question, she said "Hum bachho ko nirtay seekhate hai pichle ek saal se"
Raising my eyebrows in an understanding manner, I nodded my head before standing up and smiling to her quickly "Toh hume bhi seekhayengi aap?"
I asked with excitement and heard her chuckling at me before she nodded her head with the same enthusiasm and replied "Zaroor bhabhi"
Squealing at her response, I hugged her joyfully and feeling her embracing me in a hug too, we both jumped in excitement for no reason and our actions halted when maa stared at us from the room's door,
Pulling away from hug, I smiled at maa ji only to get a chuckle from her side before she again went inside the room and we both burst into a laughter,
Our session was ended when someone knocked on the door and going towards its way, I put the veil over my head before opening the door and my sight met with bunch of small kids
Smiling at them, I gave them the access inside the house and the aangan which was firstly filled with silence turned into a whole chaos of excited voices of the kids when they all ran towards nandini to hug her
I chuckled looking at nandini who diminished her eyes and plugged her ears with her fingers and the kids also giggled,
Looking around the kids, My sight lasted on one and my eyebrows quickly raised recognising them, The same small kids that I found in the park few days back
Smiling at them, I took my steps towards the small wooden stool and picking it up, I took steps towards the shed of the chullah area before assigning it there and sitting over it
"Bas bas shant shant" I smiled hearing nandini quieting the kids while glaring at them in fun manner and kids whinned hearing her, My actions halted when I saw few kids looking at me for a backup help and I smiled before replying "Kya nandu, bachho ko bhi koi esa kehta hai"
I took their side and all the kids smiled hearing me before running towards me and encircling me now, Chuckling at their behaviour, I spared a glance at nandini but my smile shut close when I saw her glaring at me too
Understanding how strict teacher she is, I shushed the kids around before keeping the index finger over my lips too and nandini chuckled looking at all of us
Looking at nandini going inside the room to get her ghungroo belt, I gazed at the kids and we started talking
They all were really mannered and sweet, Talking to them while high fiving at our same likings, we all talked about things filling the room with our talks
My attention was diverted when suddenly all the kids yelled joyfully looking at the door direction and leaving me in my half statement, I saw all of them standing up before running towards the main door and a pout formed on my lips "Dhokebaaz bachhe"
Turning around, My pout changed into a small smile when I saw the kids encircling Virat ji as he entered and he chuckled looking at them
Benting to their level, he pinched one girl's cheek before smiling at her and talking to the kids with a smiling face, I saw the kids finally holding his hand before pulling him inside the aangan too
Trailing my gaze towards the room when I heard the ringing of the ghunghroos, My sight met with nandini who had already worn her belt while she had a tabla in her hands,
Sparing a confusing look at her, I saw Virat ji stepping forward to help her and taking the tabla in his hands, I saw him sitting at the edge of the aangan before he cleared his throat
"Aarambh kare?" He asked with a upturn smile while looking at the kids and they all squealed in excitement before aligning themselves in the aangan
Standing up and sitting behind Virat ji, I glanced at nandini who stood infront of the kids and slowly the soft rhythm of the tabla started
Tilting my head to look at Virat ji, An impressive gasp left my lips when I figured out him rolling the tabla with his beautiful hands gestures and pace
Smiling at the surprise, I again looked at the aangan and My hands raised to cup my mouth when I saw nandini dancing with the rhythms
Her feet stomping with each roll of tabla, Her hands moving like a feather in the air to take the grace of the dance, Her long hairs moving beautifully along with her waist while her expressions expressed the beauty of nirtay in her each smile
My eyes softened looking at her and the small kids doing the steps perfectly like the way how she was moving gave the sketch of their dedication and my heart melted
My ears ringed with the rhythms of the tabla and my sight trailed from nandini to Virat ji when I heard the humming of his,
His eyes closed while the humming of his deep voice ringed in my ears and filled the room
The tingling of the ghungroos, the humming of his deeply soothing voice and the rolling of the tabla made the air so magnificent and My heartbeats accelerated at the beautiful air
Smiling unknowingly while my sight kept on looking at Virat ji, My eyes softened when I saw his lips moulding in to sing the beautiful lyrics and his singing voice fell into my ears
Admiring him while the peaceful voice of his ringed in my ears, A grin formed on my lips looking at the beautiful bond of theirs when Virat ji smiled at nandini to encourage her with her dance and nandini's eyes narrowed into a beautiful eye smile when she felt loved
Soon, the pace of the tabla slowed down and as the dance was stopped, I quickly started to clap my hands for the amazing performance and Nandini smiled shyly to me
Shifting ahead, I sat beside Virat ji when I saw nandini aligning the kids again for another dance and smiled while whispering to him "Hume nhi malum tha aap itna Sundar gaate hai aur tabla bajate hai Virat ji"
I said in a awestruck manner while tilting head to look at him,
Finding him blushing listening me, I giggled at his reaction before Patting his cheek lovingly
I could feel him taken aback before he again blushed and looked at the instrument, Chuckling at his reaction, I was going to say something when my thoughts got interrupted by nandini
"Bhabhi aap bhi nirtay kariye nah" she exclaimed with excitement and the nervousness quickly embraced my heart
"Hn?" Letting out a voice speechlessly, I tried to pretend confuse but my trying lost in game when even the kids started whinning

"Jaiye nah biwi"

I replied back whispering but my eyes narrowed when I heard a soft chuckle from his side before he assured me with his eyes and replied softly "Nirtay toh bas apne Mann ke pavitrata ko abhivyakt karne ka ek zariya hota hai biwi, Isme yeh bhay nhi hona chahiye aapke Mann me ki koi or dekhega toh shayad unhe pasand nah aaye

Listening to him, I felt slightly better and nodding my head, I stood up before turning to him and whispering back "Hasiye ga nhi"
I pleaded with a innocent tone and watched him chuckling before he nodded his head and signalled towards our front
Standing in between, I saw all the kids giving me space and standing around me to let me dance, Breathing in peacefully
I tried to stomp my feet with the rhythms when the tabla's rolling fell into my ears, Twirling around the place with the rolling of the instrument
I felt my hands raising up automatically to dance with the flow of the graceful rings, The soft voice of his singing falling in my ears and I felt my waist moving by itself like a waving field with the soft melodious voice of his
The hairs flowing in the air with each of the steps I took and my hands raising up to put on the graceful gestures along with the tunes,
My eyes were still closed not knowing how to give expressions but a smile formed on my lips feeling the feathering movements of mine by myself
Quickly the rhythms rolling paced up and Twirling with the pace, I covered the aangan with the twirls before the last roll was heard and I stopped while breathing heavily

Breathing in, I fluttered my eyes open and my first gaze met with the wall as I stopped the dance wrong way

They all laughed when they understood my embrassment and trailing my eyes, I saw Virat ji chuckling too
Looking at the ground shyly, I played with my fingers before my ears ringed with the cheerings and clappings of everyone

Laughing with them, I saw them forming a circle around me before dancing around and laughing with them, I heard the tabla rolling again and I also tried to copy their steps and danced with them

I chuckled sparing a glance at her when she stopped the dance the other way, Turning around I saw how her first gaze landed on the kids before meeting mine
Chuckling at her softly, I was going to praise her through my actions but her eyes travelled to the ground in shyness
Looking at her awestruck, I smiled at her shy state before all the kids encircled her and started dancing around her
Rolling the tabla for them to enjoy their time, My sight barely left her face when a unknown smiled formed on my lips looking at her gummy smile
Anushka POV
An hour later
I was picking up the papad from the sheets from the aangan when I heard a throat clearing
Furrowing my eyebrows, I side eyed at my beside towards the main gate knowing whose voice it was before again pretending to not listening to him
Virat ji still hasn't praised me for my dance till now rather he went outside for some work the instance we were alone when the kids left and I'm still angry on him
Feeling him sitting beside me, I turned my back towards him and started to peel the papad off the sheets

Looking at her back confusingly, I again cleared my throat before adding this time "Lagta hai biwi naraz hai humse?"
I whispered in slow voice while peeking over her shoulder to look at her face, Not getting any answers I saw her again looking at my side when the papad were done from that side and peeling the papad from here,

Clearing my throat, I shifted closer towards her before bumping my shoulder into hers,
Smiling at the gesture, My smile quickly turned into a gasp when she tripped in her benting state and fell on the ground because of my push,
Gasping at her, I tried to help her but my actions halted when she glared at me and pushing me away, she stood up dusting her saree and glared at me again
"Ji kya kar rahe hai aap?" She scolded me while extending her index finger towards me, Smiling awkwardly I stood up tall infront of her and asked "Aap baat kyu nhi kar rahin hai humse?"
I pleaded this time with apologetic tone but she just looked the other way angrily "Hume nhi karni aapse baat"
She complaint while folding her hands over her chest and side eyeing me, Scratching back of my neck, I tried to think for the reasons and not finding anything, I asked with a slow tone "Per humne Kiya kya?"
I saw her mouth opening up into a gasp before she glared at me and stomping her feet, I saw her raising her index finger infront of me again before she complained "Aap kitne bure hai, aapko malum bhi nahi hai hum kis baat per naraz hai"
She complaint again before whinning at my behaviour and looking at her apologetically, I tried to excuse "Per aap hume bata hi nhi rahin hai aap kyu naraz hai humse?"
I said but quickly regretted when she glared at me before adding a "Hum aapse baat hi nhi karenge" and turning around to walk away
Author POV
Anushka turned to go towards their room angrily but her actions halted when she felt her hand being pulled behind,
Closing her eyes at the movement, Her eyes opened when she felt herself being bumped into something soft and a hand encircling her waist
Virat smiled looking at her reaction when she opened her eyes and gasped at his actions, Thinking he got her to be blushing alike her filmy expectations, His thoughts halted when he felt her slapping his biceps
"Ouchh" wincing at her slaps, he spared a glance at anushka who glared at him the same alike before and scolded "Besharam bhi hote ja rahe hai abh aap"
Trying to get out of his hold, anushka tried to walk away but stopped when she saw a small smile on Virat's lips
Scoffing at him, she just pouted before stopping her angered actions and took the button of his kurta in her fingers while encircling it
Feeling her stopped, Virat smiled before lowering his face towards her level and asked softly "Kyu naraz hai humari itni pyaari biwi?"
Giving a side eye to him before speaking whinningly, anushka replied with a slow tone "Aap hum per has rahe the jab humne nirtay Kiya"
Frowning his eyebrows listening to her, Virat got confuse thinking about when he laughed but remembering how her first glance fell over him when he chuckle, he understood her and shaking his head, he replied softly "Hum kyu hasenge aapke nirtay per? Itna khoobsurat nirtay humne pehle kabhi nhi dekha biwi"
He complimented her with a genuine smile and listening to him while looking away, anushka again whinned "Fir aapne humari tareef kyu nhi ki?"
Listening to her while smiling at her saddened face, Virat replied with apologetic tone "Hum karne wale the fir aapne chehra fher liya dusri or"
He replied but not getting any reply, He nodded his head understanding she might've actually gotten hurt thinking that he didn't liked her dance and breathing out, Virat pulled her closer by her waist and looked at her face
Anushka's cheeks turned red at the closeness and over the closeness, The fact that he was initiating the talks today
Blushing at the gesture, Her face lifted upward to gaze into his eyes and her lips formed into a smile when she saw how he was looking at her in loving way and how his other hand raised to hold his earlobe and he muttered
"Hume maaf kar dijiye anushka ji, Hum Vada karte hai ki aage se dhyan rakhenge aur ye harkat fir nhi dho-rayenge"
His soft voice ringed in anushka's ear and looking at him when he looked at her apologetically, A smile formed on her lips
Chuckling to his actions, anushka nodded her head before pulling his fingers away from his earlobe and assured slowly "Maaf Kiya"
Her shy tone also made a grin forms on Virat lips and he felt his heart fluttering when anushka came closer and hugged him,
Smiling to her, he also embraced her and keeping his chin over her head, he muttered "Itna manmohak nritya humne kabhi nahi dekha anushka, Aapki vo band aankhein aapki ghabrahat bata rahi thi per tabh bhi aapke dah ki har ek aadah ne itna sundar nritya darshaya, hume naaz hai aapke"
A smile formed on anushka's lips hearing him and tightening the hug catching Virat off guard,
He smiled at her before brushing his fingers through her hairs and feeling soft, anushka asked excitedly "Fir bataiye hum zyada khoobsurat hai ya humara nritya??"
Furrowing his eyebrows at her, Virat again felt himself trapped in the question and clearing his throat while looking here and there he tried to excuse himself making anushka laugh at him
