Mayra's POV
I woke up in my dorm and saw the white ceiling of the room. I got a instant run through of last night and remembered the golden moments of the day when I was in his arms but then I let go of my thoughts and decided to act cold and ungrateful in front of him.
I got up from the bed and got out of my dorm with my stuff to take a bath. I took my time and came out of the private shower stall and went straight back to my dorm after finishing my daily routine.
I walked inside and started to look for my handbag which I randomly kept somewhere in the room after returning back last night.
I twitched my head to the opposite bed than mine and saw my roommate carelessly sleeping without caring about her morning lecture. I went forward to wake her up but a thing kept on the table caught my attention.
I walked close to my bedside table and took a look on the gift wrapped in the same wrapping as Abhimanyu wanted to give me. In fact, after taking a closer look, I found out that it was the same gift from last night.
I finally understood that he somehow managed to send this gift to me as I didn't accepted it. I scoffed at his sweet effort and took the wrap in my hand.
'What might be inside this wrapper? Why he is so much eager to give this to me? Should I keep it or return it? And if I'll keep it then should I thank him.'
I was so caught up in my reverie that I didn't realized that the sleeping creature in the room was now woke up and was standing behind me.
"Just open it na. I also wanna see that what has he gifted you."
My roommate, Radhika, suddenly spoke up from behind of me, making me hide the gift under the cloth kept on the bedside table. She held the apple kept on the table and took a bite.
"No need to hide it from me. I am the one who kept it here. And almost everyone might have known about this already."
My eyes widened at her statement and I just felt like disappearing from this damned world.
"Who else knows about it?"
I asked her in a hope that she might be joking.
"Almost everyone."
My pupils popped out of my eyes because of the extreme shock and embarrassment. I angrily stormed towards the door and about to open the door .
"I was joking. No one knows about it except me and the watchman uncle."
My steps froze on the spot and I twitched my head towards her and gave her death glares. She carelessly took one more bite of the apple and lied back to her bed.
I walked near the table again and kept the wrap inside my bag and was about to go out but she again spoke something.
"I need fees for keeping this a secret."
I closed my eyes in frustration and turned around.
"And what if I don't give you what you want?"
"Your secret will be exposed."
She replied and again took a bite of the apple.
"What a dirty creature! You didn't even brushed your teeth."
"I know you will fulfill my demand, right?"
She replied ignoring my words.
"Ok, what's the deal?"
I asked her helplessly.
"I want you to open the gift in front of me, that's all."
I grinned my teeth and again looked at her in frustration.
"Ok?"
"Ok."
I agreed as I didn't had any other option. I took out the thing from my bag and started to unwrap it slowly.
"Do it fast. I don't have the whole day."
I dug my orbs at her and stopped the motion of my hand. Looking back to the wrap I stated to undo it in an even more slower pace.
"Please, do it fast my highness."
I smiled at her and increased the pace of the motion of my hand. I fully opened the gift and examined the thing for a while and found out it to be a black colored box. I opened the box too and took a look inside just to be amazed.
I was staring at the cuboidal box and was smiling like a crazy head. My orbs were just locked at the text 'Ms. Heaven.'. I started to smile unwittingly. I forgot all my surrounding, even Radhika too and it was the biggest mistake I might have done at that moment.
I was so lost in my reverie but I was interrupted by Radhika's sudden motion. She snatched the box from my hand and took out the white cup and started to take a closer look at it and threw the box carefully at her bed as it still contained the black cup.
I walked or to say ran towards her and snatched it back from her.
"I'll keep it with myself and I am not asking, I am telling you."
She said teasingly as if I'll get jealous of it. Ummm..... ya, I am jealous.
"It is only mine and I am also not asking, I am telling you."
"Whom, the gift or the one who gave this gift to you?"
How shameless! how can she even say this. He was just my friend nothing else. She was playing with me so I decided to play along with her.
"What do you think?"
"If you'll ask my opinion, you be shy. So, lets leave it."
She said and I glared at her in disbelieve.
"You know what, I don't want to talk to you. I am going from here."
I said and kept the gift in my bag and left from there.
3rd person's POV
A couple of days passed but they both didn't met each other. It was afternoon and Mayra just came out of her last class of the day and was going back to her hostel.
She walked out of the university and started to walk towards the building but a car stopped in front of her and the front glass of the car opened. It was Abhimanyu.
"Come with me. I want to discuss things with you."
He said and smiled at her.
"I have things to do."
"I'll not take much of your time."
He got out of the car and walked towards the opposite side and opened the door of passenger seat.
"Please."
Mayra paused for a jiffy but then decided to go along with him. He too sat on the driver's seat and started to drive to somewhere.
"Where are we going?"
"Aapko kya lagta hai?"
[What do you think?]
She turned silent and asked another question.
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Aapko kya lagta hai?"
[What do you think?]
She again turned silent and said something.
"How did you managed to keep that gift into my dorm?"
She asked showing no curiosity but deep inside she was very curious.
"Aapko kya lagta hai?"
[What do you think?]
"Kya tum mere sawal ka sida jawab nai de sakte? 'Aapko kya lagta hai', 'Appko kya lagta hai' kare jaa rahe ho tab se. Ek sawal ka jawab diya jata hai na ki dusra sawal pucha jata hai."
[Can you answer my question with something other than 'What do you think'. Why are you answering my question by asking another question?]
"Aapko kya lagta hai?"
[What do you think?]
Abhimanyu said while trying to control his laughter. Mayra grinned her teeth on his answer and started to look outside from the front window.
"Hum paas ke ek cafe me jaa rahe hai but agra aapko kahi aur jana hai to bta dijiye me aapko waha le chalunga. Mein aapse apne dad ke birthday ke baare me discuss karna cahata tha and meine vo gift aapke roommate and watchman ki help se rakhwaya tha. Kuch aur madam?"
[We are going to the nearby cafe but I'll take you to where ever you will say. I want to talk about dad's birthday to you. And I kept that gift in your dorm with the help of your roommate and watchman. Anything else madam?]
Mayra decided to stay silent at the moment and ignored him. He was all focused on the road but she said something which caught his attention.
