Chapter: DETERMINATION.
~Location: Hot Lands~
~3rd Person POV~
We Sans and Frisk at one of his many hotdog stands. The two were having a great time goofing around, with Sans stacking hotdogs on the human's head
The two hear footsteps coming towards them and see the time-traveling human walking up towards them with his jacket off
The time-traveling human was practically sweating buckets when he reached the two
Y/n: There you two are *huff*... it's so hot here
He then sees the absurd amount of hotdogs on top of Frisk's head, concerning him
Y/n: Wow... is this... normal?
Sans: It's no biggie kiddo. You want one?
Y/n looked at the hotdogs that were still somehow balanced onto of Frisk's head and asked Sans a question
Y/n: ...What are they?
Frisk looked at Y/n in surprise
Frisk: Do they not have hotdogs in the future?
Y/n: No... at least I don't think so
He said while scratching his head. Sans prepared a hotdog for the male human and handed it to Frisk
Sans: Why don't you hand it to him
Frisk nodded and slowly walked over to him. Y/n urged Frisk to stop
Y/n: No worries, Frisk. I-
He didn't get to finish as Frisk interrupted him by falling flat on the ground, with all the hotdogs (and hotcats) following her. Y/n hurried over to help her up
Y/n: That was a nasty fall. Are you okay?
Frisk gave him a thumbs up and a neutral expression
Frisk: 😑👍
Sans chuckled at this. He then dawned a serious expression and walked around the hotdog stand
Sans: So... About what happened earlier... we gotta stop doing that
Frisk and Y/n looked at the skeleton as he continued to speak
Sans: We can't just... reset timelines like that. It might have side-effects on things we don't want to happen
Y/n and Frisk look at Sans, gaining serious expressions of their own
Sans: Imagine it as a matter of probabilities...
Y/n: So... some things that aren't supposed to be here... will come?
Sans nodded
Sans: Exactly
Y/n looked at his hands. He felt the power of the time stone in his pocket
Y/n: Would I count? Is me being here a result of consent timeline resets?
Sans and Frisk looked at the futuristic boy
Sans: ...Maybe...
Y/n looked as his hands more as the power of the time stone started to overwhelm his senses. He sees flashes of a person that looked a lot like Frisk, but was wearing a green and yellow sweater and had glowing red eyes. Frisk walked up to him and stared at him in concern, joined by Sans
Sans: Kid. You alright?
Y/n finally snaps out of it and stared at the ground
Y/n: I... I'm not sure
As they were talking, a dark figure was seen wandering around a dark hall way that looked like a lab. It approached a melted figure that resembled a puppy that was playing with a ball. The figure held a sharp knife, glaring at the melted creature with a smile. We cut back to Sans, Frisk, and Y/n
Sans: Just make sure you two keep an eye out for anything that seems... "odd", k?
Y/n: Right
Frisk nodded in agreement
Sans: Alright then, if ya need me, give Paps a ring. I'll be there
Sans then disappeared, teleporting away and leaving the two humans alone. Y/n was about to walk away, but he saw Frisk staring at something in the distance
Y/n: Are... you okay?
He then looked in the same direction, seeing a large building with the word "LAB" on it. Both humans felt an ominous feeling from it. Frisk started to walk towards the building and Y/n followed. Frisk walked in first and went to a hallway with a large machine in the middle of it
[Ignore the Flower]
Y/n was about to walk in as well, but he felt the time stone's power once again. He saw the same girl as before fighting against a giant goat-like monster. He clenched his head with his hands and fell to his knees, not seeing a figure approach him
???: ...Another human? These "Errors" are more interesting then I thought
Y/n looked up to see the girl from his flashes
The girl stared back at him with piercing red eyes as she clenched onto a knife. Y/n got up to his feet and looked at her with confusion
???: Greetings... I am Chara
Y/n: Um... hi. I'm Y/n
He said with slight hesitation. Chara started to get closer to the time-traveling human, with her smile growing wider with each step
Chara: After so many resets... so many timelines... these past few have finally been interesting
She lifted her knife at Y/n, making him get on guard
Y/n: Where's Frisk?
The new female human kept her smile
Chara: That is none of your concern... all you need to worry about... is staying alive
Chara launched herself towards Y/n with her knife pointed right at him, but was stopped by Y/n using his Psychokinesis. This surprised Chara, making her lose her smile for a split second
Chara: You're no normal human... you remind me of the comedian
Y/n: Well, your about to see just how special I am
(Now Playing: VS Character - Sonic The Hedgehog [2006])
Y/n flung Chara to the other side of the room, making her crash into wall. Y/n starts to float in the air and follow the megalomaniac through the wall. He looks for Chara through the darkness
Y/n: Now tell me, where's Frisk!?
Chara didn't respond and simply stared at the futuristic boy. Her knifes started to glow a violent red and she slashed the air, making projectiles to launch at Y/n
Y/n looked on with slight surprise and dodged the slashes
Y/n Thinking: She's using that knife as if it was a ranged weapon! It reminds of the souls that Master Mogul told me about
Y/n responded by taking chunks of Metal out of the floor and sent them towards Chara
Y/n: How about this!?
Chara watched them get closer and then slashed them in half. Y/n used the remains and threw them at the knife-swinging maniac
Chara: Yes... keep making this interesting
Chara swung her knife at the remains, cutting them down to tiny bits. She then rushed at Y/n, but he stopped her again
Y/n: I don't wanna kill you. I just wanna know what happened to Frisk
Chara smiled at Y/n, her eyes looking over to her side. Y/n looked at her confused before following her eyes. His eyes widen in worry as he sees a giant machine glowing
Y/n: She's in that?
He makes the mistake letting her go and running up to the machine. Chara stops him by tackling him to the ground. She held her knife to Y/n's neck
Chara: How pitiful...
She started to press the knife against the time-traveling human's neck. Y/n broke free from her control by using a Pyrokinetic blast
Y/n: I'll stop you! You monster!
Chara lifted her hand and a mass of darkness surrounded the machine. A bone flew past her head and she turned to see Sans and Flowey next to Y/n
Flowey: I see you meet another new human, smiley trashbag
Sans: Yeah. He's pretty... fly as some people say
The skeleton said, making a puns. Y/n got up and looked over to the flower
Y/n Thinking: "Another new human"? He might know where Blaze is!
Chara glares at the trio that stood against her
Chara: How cute... this will be interesting. We got a comedian, a traitor, an idiot..., and a "Megalomaniac"
She shot a blast from her knife, aiming for the trio. Sans and Flowey teleported away, thanks to Sans. Y/n caught the slash with his powers and flung it back at Chara. Flowey followed Y/n and tried to wrap Chara up in some vines. Chara slashed them up and was going to attack Flowey, but Sans summoned some Gaster Blasters and shot them at the Megalomaniac. Chara "glitched" and teleported away from the blast
Sans summoned more bones to strike Chara, but she dodged them by glitching again. She was about to strike Sans, but Y/n grabbed her with his powers and slammed her down into the floor, creating a crater
Y/n then flew upwards and started charging up a Psychic Knife
Y/n: Since you like knifes so much, how about checking out mine!?
The futuristic human threw the large Psychokinetic knife at the genocidal human. Chara managed to dodge the first one and jumped in the air to meet him, but Y/n caught her off guard by throwing another one when she was close enough. Chara fell into another crater
As Chara got up, she wiped some blood off her face. Her knife started to glow again and she stabbed it into the ground, making the entire floor glow a violent red
Chara: Welcome to my special hell...
Sans' eye grew brighter and he teleported Y/n, Flowey, and himself onto a Gaster Blaster. He then made more Gaster Blasters to shoot the upcoming red beam coming from the floor. Sans, exhausted, teleported the three of them back to the ground. He dropped to his knees and sweat started to pour from his skull. Flowey and Y/n looked at the worn out skeleton in worry
Chara: This is your fault, y'know
Flowey turned and looked at Chara, her eyes being shadowed by her hair
Chara: We just had to get six souls... but you decided to show them mercy...
She pointed at the flower with rage and her smile gone
Chara: You betrayed me, Asriel. We ended up like this because of you... but I won't show you any mercy
Her smile returned to her face and she started to glitch violently
Chara: It's kill or be killed after all...
The machine that was holding Frisk shut off, catching everyone's attention. Out of it, came a small red orb. Instantly, Sans sent a bone hurling towards Chara. But she easily sliced it in half. Sans teleported to grab the orb, but a force field stopped him. The force field exploded, sending Sans flying away
Y/n: Sans!
Y/n flew after the skeleton to make sure he was okay. Chara teleported over to the orb and slowly went to grab it, but was stopped by Flowey grabbing her arm with a vine. Chara desperately reached for the orb. Y/n helped Sans up
Y/n: Now's your chance, Sans!
Sans nodded exhaustively and teleported over to the orb. Chara, out of desperation, cut off her trapped arm with her knife and grabbed the orb. A flash of light blinded the three fighters. When it died down, Chara was gone. Sans opened the DT Extractor and got Frisk out
Y/n: Let me. You're exhausted, Sans
Y/n grabbed Frisk from Sans. Sans, with the last of his energy, teleported them away. With Chara, her arm started to grow back. She lifted her hand as a black menu bar appeared in front of her. In the middle, was one word in bold
