I finished typing the text to Alexis, looking back from my phone at the sight before me. In front of my very own eyes were at least fifty of these armored soldiers, each one of them expertly outfitted and ready to serve Stromford.

You're probably a little lost, aren't you?

Let's rewind a little bit!

Earlier today...

Sophie and I are sitting on top of a roof nearby our target building. Sophie is, as always, outfitted in her maid outfit.

Meanwhile I'm in my Checkmate fit, with my black combat pants, hoodie, and my signature mask covering my face with a ski mask under it.

I had two pistols stashed in holders on my belt, two extra magazines, and my grappling gun, along with a knife strapped to my thigh. I also had a spare ski mask stashed, juuuuuuuuust in case~!

"Most of the guards are situated in the front." A voice filled of honey spoke straight into my ear. "There's only two in the back. If you can take them down you can easily sneak in."

"Good." I spoke aloud.

Mother Wasp modified those ear-pieces we used before, so now they don't need a code word and they work at longer distances. This way she can easily contact Sophie and I about what she sees using her bees.

It makes her perfect as a support and scouter.

"Time for our second hit." I grinned, stretching my body. I looked out into the distance, where smoke was flying into the air. We already managed to blow up one of Stromford's secret bases, so a lot of attention will be focused over there.

We were lucky enough to escape before Stellar or any other heroes arrived, and it's time to keep the train moving. Get in, and get out.

Plant the bombs, grab anything important if it happens to be there, then leave and detonate!

"You find the stash?" I turned towards Sophie.

"Yes." Sophie replied, pulling out a couple of remote bombs. She grabbed the remote detonator, handing it over to me.

"Man am I glad this has a lid, it'd be terrible if I accidentally pressed it." I chuckled, making sure it was secure and safe before pocketing it.

Sophie would be fine, and as for myself...I have no clue honestly, not sure how far my regeneration goes. But I'd rather not find out, because I would assume it would be mighty painful.

See, explosion plus Jason equals OWUAAAGH!!!!

Doesn't sound like a fun time to me.

"Right, let's start the party!" I smirked. I descended down the side of the building, doing pretty well until the end where I slipped and crashed onto the floor.

I quickly pulled myself up, approaching the wired fence that surrounded this secret compound. It's supposed to be a long abandoned warehouse but the last I remember abandoned warehouses don't have guards.

"Sophie." I nodded towards her.

Two of her fingers morphed, turning into a pair of wire cutters. She started cutting the wires, and in a minute she had made a large enough hole for us to crawl through.

"You are too impressive." I grinned, crawling through. Sophie quickly followed after.

We were now crouched behind a crate filled with a whole lot of "I don't know and I don't care cause it's probably gonna get blown up anyways".

I glanced around the crate, seeing the two guards in front of a large, closed metal commercial door. Next to the commercial door was a normal door, and that was our ticket in.

The two guards really only wore a bulletproof vest and a helmet for armor, but in their hands they held rifles. Really makes me wonder how nobody sees this and thinks something is up. Or is this normal?

I don't know man, I have just over a year's worth of memories and I've lived anything BUT normal!

I hid back behind the crate and smacked the side of it, making a clearly audible sound. It took a moment, but then I heard the approaching sound of footsteps.

I pulled out my knife with one hand as I looked towards Sophie. "Go around the other side of the crate and take out the non-approaching guard before he can make noise."

Sophie nodded, sneaking around the other side of the crate as the footsteps got closer. The footsteps were right around the corner of the crate when I suddenly sprang upwards.

I pushed the barrel of the gun to the side and stabbed the man straight in the neck. He looked at me with widened eyes, dropping his rifle to the ground.

The other guard gasped, bringing up his rifle and opening his mouth to yell. But he was too late. Being distracted by me meant that Sophie was already upon him, and with a quick snap of the neck he was dropping to the floor.

"I'm gonna need some heavy duty stuff to get all these bloodstains out." I spoke to myself as I walked over to the door. I fished out a bobby pin from my pocket and quickly picklocked the door.

Thank god for YouTube!

And looooots of practice at home.

I creaked the door open, glancing into the hallway and seeing no one there. Sophie and I entered the hallway, closing the door behind us.

And then a guard turned around the corner.

I quickly drew my pistol as the guard looked at us in suspense. Before he could pull his trigger my gun was already set and my finger had moved. A bang resounded through the building as the man collapsed to the ground with a hole in his face.

I'm the quickest draw in the west.

Yee-hah, motherfucker.

I pretended to blow smoke off of the barrel of my gun as Sophie placed the first remote bomb. With that gunshot I'm pretty sure stealth mission is over which means now its guns blazing time!

"Alright Sophie, let's do this." I grinned.

I pulled out my second pistol, running down the hall while Sophie carried the bombs. I quickly shot any guards that got in our way while Sophie planted the bombs, and we were probably about halfway through the floor of the secret base without too much difficulty.

But things are never easy.

We turned the next corner to not only see multiple guards, but Isolation as well.

Yes, that's right, Sophie's purple eyed and long black haired sister.

We had about a five second stare down before a purple spear materialized in her hand. Sophie placed down the bombs and immediately rushed Isolation, sending a kick towards her which was subsequently blocked.

The guards aimed their sights on me as I quickly picked up the remaining bombs and jumped out of the way. Bullets riddled the wall behind where I just was.

"How the hell did she get here?" Mother Wasp muttered through the ear piece. "None of my bees noticed her..."

"I don't know, but how is that other hallway looking?" I questioned as I started running towards a different route through the building.

"It's empty at the moment." Mother Wasp answered.

"Good!" I grinned, running around the corner as bullets whizzed by where I just was. I pressed myself against the wall, dropping the bombs and readying a knife and gun.

The first guard who rounded the corner was unfortunate enough to get my barrel to the head. With a bang he was down, three guards left.

The first one was close enough that he tried to stun me with the rifle first, but I quickly stabbed his arm and left his attempt futile.

I kicked him in front of me as bullets were riddled through him. I grunted as a few pierced me afterwards, but taking the other two guard's moment of shock at turning their friend into swiss cheese to shoot two headshots.

"And here I thought today was gonna be shot-free." I winced. Three bullets have decided to make my side their home and it's going to be a fun time as they slowly get pushed out as my body self-heals.

I picked the bombs back up, ready to continue moving on to plant them when suddenly someone crashed down from the second floor. I turned to see a fully armored soldier, equipped with both a rifle and some sort of stun baton. Honestly the suit looked awesome, the helmet reminded me of a motorcycle helmet and those are badass.

And then his hands started to glow red.

Fuck that, I don't wanna know what those do!

I shot him in the head only for the bullet to ricochet into the ceiling. Well, that didn't work.

So instead I tossed one of the bombs at him. As it spun mid-air I shot it with my gun, igniting it and creating an explosion which rumbled the whole hallway. The soldier flew backwards and through a wall and the ceiling started to cave in.

"I gotta get one more set up and then we get out of here." I spoke for the earpiece so both Mother Wasp and Sophie would hear.

I quickly started running down the hallway only for Mother Wasp to alert me. "Jason, he's coming back."

"He's what?" I questioned.

I turned around, and walking back through the hole and past the rubble was the man, his armor slightly damaged but not as much as I feel like it should be!

"The fuck are you, a terminator?" I questioned. "Please don't tell me Sophie has another sibling now!"

His hands continued to glow red, and then suddenly an explosion came from them, rocketing him towards me.

"Shit!" I gasped, running and quickly maneuvering into the closest room as this armored soldier proceeded to blast himself towards me.

I shut the door behind me, locking it even though I knew it wouldn't do much. I quickly found a desk in this research room to hide behind, preparing myself for an ambush. Since bullets aren't working I'll see if I can pierce through the material around his neck with my knife.

"He's outside the door." Mother Wasp whispered into my ear.

I glanced around the desk, watching as the doorknob started to literally melt. You're telling me this soldier can melt things and create explosions?

Is tech really that advanced, or is this a new minion and/or experiment of Stromford and Vandercourt?

The door opened and the soldier entered, their heavy footsteps resounding through the room. With my free hand I activated intensify, my hand starting to glow white. I prepared myself as their footsteps searched the room, slowly getting closer to my hiding spot.

Closer...

Closer...

Now!

I jumped from behind the desk, sending a stab straight for the soldier's neck. My wrist was grabbed, and in a swift move, broken.

I let out a pained growl as I dropped the knife and was subsequently sucker punched in this face. I dodged the next attack, sending an intensified punch into the soldier's gut and sending them flying backwards.

They crashed into a desk as I picked up my knife. I charged at them, stabbing towards their neck only for them to roll out of the way and for my knife to go into the desk.

I dodged their next strike, backing up as another two swift punches were thrown my way. The soldier's hand glowed red again, and I quickly moved out of the way as they tried to grasp me.

"You are not melting me like a damn popsicle!" I jumped onto the table, gripping the knife and taking it out. The soldier jumped onto the table, quickly approaching with his red hot hands.

I dodged his swipe, stabbing towards his neck once more only for his other hand to grab my arm. I hissed in pain as I felt my skin start to melt. I quickly pulled out my gun, only for my other arm to get grabbed before I could place it to their head.

"Fuck it!" I laughed, throwing myself into the soldier and taking us both off of the table. He kept his grip tight on my wrists, the burning pain driving me insane.

But now I was on top of them, allowing me to start kicking the crap out of their face to render them unconscious.

Fuck, you're going to melt my arms off!

It was starting to work before they threw us over, reversing our positions. They let go of one of my arms, tearing my knife from my hand with their now free hand and attempting to stab me in the head.

I just dodged it, the blade right next to my head. With my free hand and incredibly hurting wrist I grabbed the knife, ripping it out of the ground and stabbing it through their arm.

They let go of my other wrist, leaving my other arm free. But evidently they didn't like that as a hard punch rocked my face. I could hear Mother Wasp worriedly saying something, bees buzzing around the soldier and trying to find a place to sting.

Heh, I got this.

Let's see if they can survive a point blank gun shot to the-

And then something crashed through the ceiling. I had thought it was Sophie at first, the way she landed on top of the man and crushed their head into the ground in a gory explosion of blood and brains using their foot.

But as my vision refocused and the pain was starting to lesson, I realized that the person who was now straddling me was not in fact Sophie.

"Stellie?" I questioned.

"Is that a ski mask in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?" Stellar grinned.
