CHAPTER 3
“COME ON, faster, babe.” Malambing ang boses ni Marco nang tawagin siya. Nasa pintuan ito ng kwarto niya at hinihintay siya.
“Wait lang, sandali.” She put on her lip balm and check herself on the mirror. Siniguro niyang maayos ang mukha at buhok niya bago siya umalis sa harap ng salamin at lumapit sa binata. “Does my look fine?” Yunna asked Marco.
Marco's eyes automatically roamed over her body, from head to toe. She's wearing a pastel green short knife pleated skirt partnered with a pastel green crochet fishnet long sleeve top underneath is a white spaghetti strap. Yunna chose to wear a white high boots.
Her outfit suits to where they are going today, to the amusement park! Marco invited her to go outside today, para naman daw makalabas siya at hindi kulong every day. And this is her first time so she's very excited!
Umangat ang kilay nito, tila hindi nagustuhan ang damit na suot.
“Hindi ka ba masisilipan diyan?” Seryosong tanong nito sa kaniya.
Yunna shakes her head, “i wore a cycling naman eh.”
He sighed and about to say something but nothing came out from his mouth. Hinawakan nito ang kamay niya.
“H'wag kang lalayo sa'kin. Remember what i told you?”
Tumango siya, “pinaparusahan ang mga pasaway?”
Bahagya itong napa-smirk. “That's good. Let's go.” Holding her hands, Marco walk. Ito na ang nagsarado ng bahay niya at gate saka pinagbuksan siya ng pintuan.
It took them half an hour to arrived at their destination. Marami pa ring tao even it's already in afternoon.
“What do you want to ride first?” Tanong ng binata after makuha ang membership ticket nilang dalawa.
Napaisip siya, “mm... Ferris wheel! Omg, i want ferris wheel. Can we? Can we?” Excited niyang tanong sa binata at humawak sa braso nito. Since he's tall, Yunna is looking up at him.
Marco chuckle lowly saka ginulo ang buhok niya, “of course. Tara ro'n,” itinuro nito kung nasaan ang ferris wheel. It's very big and high.
Pumila lang sila ng ilang sandali pagkatapos ay sila na ang sumunod na sumakay. Marco hold her hand para alalayan siya to step inside and then he next entered.
Pakiramdam niya ay may mga butterflies inside her stomach. She's a bit nervous pero excited din at the same time. Unconciously, her hand reach Marco's hand to have a support. Ito kasi ang first time niya, baka bigla silang ma-stuck or worst mahulog kaya natatakot siya.
Saka lang na-realize ni Yunna nang pisilin nito ang hand niya. Yunna looked at Marco, he was staring at her.
Matamis itong ngumiti sa kaniya, “don't be afraid. You're safe with me.”
Yunna's heart beat become abnormal. It's beating too loud and fast. Napatitig siya sa gwapong mukha ng binata, makinis at wala siyang makitang ni isang pimple. His thick eyebrows and lashes are his assets plus his menazing electric blue eyes.
Napapikit si Yunna ng mariin nang bahagyang gumalaw ang sinasakyan nila. She felt him hold her hand tighter.
“We're going up, open your eyes. We're almost above, babe.” Napaigtad siya nang maramdaman ang lips nito sa ear niya.
“B-But i'm scared...” She whispered.
“Didn't i tell you that you're safe with me? Don't be afraid, hindi ko hahayaang masaktan ka.” His baritone voice is accompanied by gentleness. Dahil doon ay unti-unting iminulat niya ang kaniyang mga mata.
Her eyes got bigger when she saw the tall and beautiful skyscrapers.
“Oh God...” Wala sa sariling anas niya at napatayo. Mabilis naman siyang inalalayan ni Marco habang parang batang inosente na nakakita ng isang nakamamanghang bagay.
Marco hugged her waist from behind and put his chin to her shoulder. “It's beautiful, isn't it?”
Nakangiting lumingon si Yunna rito, “yes... Thank you...” Their face are so close to each other. Napatitig siya sa mga mata nitong nakaaakit.
He has this genuine sweet smile on his face, “anything, as long as you're happy.” Napanguso siya sa sinabi nito at muling pinagmasdan ang ganda sa taas.
Yunna and Marco rode all the rides at the amusement park after their sweet moment in the ferris wheel. Reason why she ended up throwing up at the comfort room while Marco is behind her, caressing her back and looking at her with worry.
“I told you, dapat hinay-hinay lang.” Sabi nito habang pinupunasan ng wipes ang bibig niya.
Yunna's eyes were teary as she looks at him, feeling bad. “B-But i want to experience all the rides eh.” She sobs then sniffs.
Marco sighed and brush her hair. “We will come here again, okay? For now, let's go home. You need to rest.”
Nanghihinang napasandal si Yunna sa katawan nito at yumakap sa baywang ng binata. Angsama ng pakiramdam niya dulot pa ng kaniyang pagsusuka.
“Do you want me to carry you?” He whispered on her ear but Yunna is too tired to even speak. Marco then gently carry her and walk, leaving the comfort room.
He withdraw her on the passenger seat then put her seatbelt on. Saka ito naglakad sa kabila at sumakay sa kotse. Marco cover her body with a thin sheet and then drove off from the park.
Yunna fell asleep during their ride. He had to carry her again to dispose on her bed. Bene remove Yunna's boots and hair clip bow. Pagkatapos ay hinanap ang palagi niyang nakikitang ginagamit ng kapatid na babae na pangtanggal ng make-up.
Bene's sister is super girly, in tagalog, sobrang kikay. Lalo na sa pagdadamit nito na laging kulay pink, any shades of pink. Brianna Schauder loves more than her entirely the color pink. Her room, her things, her clothes and even her make-ups are all pink! Na minsan ayaw tignan ni Bene dahil nasisilaw ang kaniyang mga mata dahil puro pink. She's just fifteen anyway.
But eventhough he dislike pink, he loves his sister so much more than anyone. Siya ang naging guardian nito nang mamatay ang mga magulang nila six years ago. Of course, why would he let their other family members to get the guardian of his sister? Gahaman ang mga ito sa pera at kapangyarihan. Hindi niya kailanman hahayaan ang mga itong makuha ang pinaghirapan ng mga magulang nila.

Napangiti siya, he knows exactly what she's going to say. He accepted the video call, “hmm, yes, baby?” Brianna is at the living room, some of the lights in the mansion is off.
“You're not home! Where are you na naman ba?! Nasa babae mo?! You chose your babae over me again!” Brianna sulk on the other line.
Itiniklop niya ang laptop saka sumandal sa sandalan ng sofà. Siguradong marami itong sasabihin sa kaniya at hindi niya ito pwedeng patayan ng tawag.
“I didn't, okay? Saka, hindi ko siya babae.” Marco said, almost chuckling at his sister's attitude. Brianna is clingy and close to him.
“See?! You just indirectly confirmed na may girl ka na! Huhu, i'm gonna sumbong you to Mommy and Daddy. You're abandoning me!” Nagpapapadyak ito sa saka dinuro siya.
Bene laughs, amuse at her attitude. Alam niya namang nanlalambing lang ito dahil hindi na naman siya nadatnan sa bahay. Nagpaalam ito na may gagawin na activity sa kaklase nito na kapitbahay lang nila at kauuwi lang siguro.
“I'm not going to abandon you, okay? Never. Uuwi ako bukas ng umaga, we will eat breakfast together.” Panlalambing niya sa nakababatang kapatid.
“Hmp, okay fine! If you do not tupad that, i won't pansin you!”
Umangat ang kaniyang kilay, “as if you can do that. You're too clingy to your brother, baby.”
“Kuyaaa!” Inis na sabi nito na malakas niyang ikinatawa. “Magbo-boyfriend ako kapag you didn't show your face, sige ka!”
Nalukot ang mukha ni Bene, she got her. “Don't blackmail me, little lady. At saan mo nalaman 'yang boyfriend-boyfriend na 'yan?” Seryoso niyang tanong sa kapatid.
“Duh, all my classmates is in a relationship na, pati nga mga younger ones, kuya. What do you think to me? I'm not that innocent!” Binuntunan pa nito iyon ng hagikgik. .
“Brianna Maris Schauder, stop that boyfriend thingy. Angbata-bata mo pa.” Pagsaway ni Bene sa kapilyahan nito. Umirap ito na ikinasama ng mukha niya. Only Brianna and Yunna could do that to him that he would always take.
“I'm not bata anymore, kuya. Dalaga na kaya ako, i'm gonna turn 16? Speaking of my birthday, i want to celebrate it in kuya Timothy's resort!”
And their topic when to her upcoming birthday.
“Okay, i'm gonna call your kuya Timothy tommorow for that. What else do you want, baby?”
“Mm... Aha! Can you invite Alessandro, kuya?”
He frowed, “who's Alessandro?”
“Your friend! Alessandro Giusepp.”
“Brianna! It's kuya Alessandro!”
“Ehh, Alessandro lang, kuya!”
“Brianna!”
Napangiwi si Yunna nang makita si Marco na nasa sala at may kasigawan sa cellphone. She woke up feeling hungry kaya bumangon siya kahit tinatamad pa siya. It's eigth in the evening and she didn't know that Marco stayed.
“Marco...” Tawag pansin niya rito na agad namang lumingon sa kaniya.
“Kuya! Who's that? I heard a woman's voice!”
Yunna's eyes widened, oh no. She didn't mean na marinig iyon ng kausap ni Marco. And, kuya? He had a sister?
“I'm gonna hang up now, let's talk in personal about your birthday some other time—”
“No! No! Don't hang up the phone, kuya! Or else, i won't pansin you talaga!” Tili ng nasa kabilang linya.
“Brianna,” seryosong saway ni Marco sa babae.
“No, let me see her!” The girl is persistent that Marco could only do is sigh. He looked at her as if asking for permission and Yunna nodded. Lumapit siya rito at sumilip sa cellphone nito.
There, she saw a blonde beautiful young lady wearing a pastel pink dress. She could say that she's Marco's sister, magkamukhang-magkamukha ang dalawa. Para itong si Marco sa babaeng version na nilagyan ng pink na buhok.
Yunna wave then smile at the camera, “hii.”
The little girl eyes widened then cover her mouth. “Omg! You're so pretty! What's your name?”
Napalingon muna siya kay Marco bago muling tumingin sa camera. “I'm ate Yunna and you?”
“Brianna Maris ‘Pretty’ Schauder, you can call me Pretty.”
“Oh, yes, you're indeed pretty.” She commended and whispered to Marco. “How old is she?”
“15,” he said.
Oh. So, i'm just less than three years older than her.
“Why are you with my brother, ate? Are you his girlfriend?” Tanong nito sa kaniya.
“No/Yes.” Sabay silang nagsalita ni Marco.
Confusion is visible on Brianna's face, “huh? Who's telling the truth?”
“She's my girlfriend.” Ani Marco na ikinatingin ni Yunna sa binata saka ito pinanlakihan ng mata. What the hell is he saying?
Yunna's forehead creased, “i'm not your girlfriend.” Bulong niya rito.
“It's babaeng kaibigan, babe.” Sagot nito sa kaniya sa pabulong na paraan din.
“Ah,” nawala ang pagtataka sa mukha niya, “i see.” Humarap siyang muli sa camera, “he's my boyfriend.” Lalaking kaibigan, right?
