"Dr. Kim, Dr. Shin wanted to see you." Nurse Choi said when Jin entered the emergency room.
"Did he tell what about?"
"Not really." Nurse Choi said.
"I see. Okay. I will be in his office but page me in case there's an emergency." Jin said as there's no other doctor on duty yet.

"Dr. Kim! Good morning." Dr. Shin said as he saw Seokjin.
"Hello, Dr. Shin. I was told that you need me."
"I certainly do. Well, the Trauma department is extending and we need someone to help Jungkook. I was wondering if you are fine being transferred to that department starting next week. He could use a hand since we're still recruiting for people."
Jin smiled at him. "I am happy for the offer, Dr. Shin and I will be glad to start in the trauma department as soon as possible."
"That is great. We'll also start tagging patients from emergency to Trauma moving forward so that means, there'll be not much of difference with the work that you do."
"I understand. Thank you for the offer, Dr. Shin."
"You are welcome. You can go back to your shift. I will ask Dr. Jeon to brief you about the Trauma Department this week so that you'll have a smooth transition. Since his schedule is morning and yours is evening, you can take your day off tomorrow and transition back to morning shift. Will that be fine with you?"
"Yes, Dr. Shin." Jin said with a smile, happy that he'll finally be able to work with Jungkook.
Their relationship evolved somehow in 2 weeks and he is happy how it goes. He was able to trust Jungkook again and the latter is also doing his best as he observed. Jungkook even updates him every now and then, like the old times, and whenever their schedules meet, they go out and even get to have games together or go to the mall together.
On his way back to the emergency room, he passed by Jungkook's office. He checked his phone and he was right, Jungkook is already at work. He was deciding if he should knock or not when he saw in his peripheral view that someone's walking towards him.
He looked at the person and immediately smiled upon seeing who it was.
"Good morning!" Jin said cheerfully.
"Hello, Dr. Kim? Missed me?" Jungkook said with a joke.
Jin rolled his eyes playfully. "Whatever."
"Come inside. I just had my rounds. Are you about to go home?" Jungkook said as he opened his office's door and let Jin come inside.
"Just 2 more hours and I should be out unless there'll be more patients. By the way, Dr. Shin asked me about the Trauma department." Jin said happily.
Jungkook smiled at him. "He did? What's your response?" He asked even though he is sure that Jin accepted it.
"I will be transferred next week." Jin said.
"That means, I get to work with you everyday?" Jungkook asked.
"Well, not really, because we might have different schedules, but yes, we will work together again."
"That's great news! When should we celebrate?"
"You are on off tomorrow, right? Dr. Shin also gave me a day off for change of schedule. Should I cook something at your apartment tonight?"
"That sounds great! I'll see you after your shift." Jin said before leaving Jungkook's office.
As Jin went out, Yugyeom was about to knock. He was surprised to see Jin from Jungkook's office.
"Good morning, Nurse Kim." Jin said.
"Oh, didn't know you were here, Dr. Kim. Good morning, too." He said with a meaningful smile.
"I was just about to leave. Just visited Dr. Jeon."
"I see. I'll see you later then, Dr. Kim." Yugyeom said as Jin went out.
When the door was closed, Yugyeom smiled at Jungkook. "What was that?" He asked.
"Nothing." Jungkook answered.
"Of course, there's something. What was that smile anyway?" He asked.
"We'll have dinner later."
"Well, you always eat out with him. What's the difference?" Yugyeom asked.
"I---well... I just feel like maybe I can propose formally to him this time?"
"Just now? Wow! Aren't you pretty slow? I even have my boyfriend and you're just proposing now?"
"Well, sorry, my relationship with Seokjin is pretty complicated and I had to do it better." Jungkook said rolling his eyes at Yugyeom.
"Well, you better bring him flowers." Yugyeom said.
Jungkook's eyes widened. "Oh, yes! The flowers! Let me order now."
Yugyeom smiled at him, happy seeing Jungkook this lively. Something he never saw before.

"I was about to bang the door since it took you so long to open it." Seokjin said to Jungkook jokingly when he opened the door.
"Sorry. I was in my room." Jungkook answered.
"It's okay." Jin said.
"Let me carry those." Jungkook offered looking at whatever Jin bought from the groceries.
"You can take care of whatever you need to do in your room. I'll just start cooking." Jin said.
"Okay. Just call me if you need anything." Jungkook said and Jin smiled.
Jungkook looked at his room and made sure that everything's complete. He put on the buoquet of flowers in the middle. He looked at the design and was thinking if he should not have listened to Yugyeom as he read the words on the wall designed in balloons.
"Shit! Am I doing this right?" He asked himself. "I feel like a stupid teenager designing my bed room like this. Will he even agree? Fuck." He said as anxiety is taking over him.
He's not even sure if he's rushing things but he can't wait anymore. They were going out as friends for more than a month but they were friends before the unspeakable things happened so he hopes this is just fine. Whatever the result may be, he is sure to stay by Jin's side.
"Jungkook! Let's eat!" He heard Jin shouting from the kitchen.
He took one more look inside his bedroom before breathing out and closing his door.
Jin cooked a lot, he thought. There were buffalo chicken wings and a carbonara. He thought it would be great to also drink wine so he took a bottle from his bar counter and opened it, to put some on their glasses.
"Wow! Food looks great." Jungkook said.
"It is. Go on now and eat." He said as both of them sat down. "How was your duty earlier?" Jin asked as they both started eating.
"It was fine. Wow! This carbonara is really good. Where did you learn cooking this?" Jin asked.
"I watched videos earlier. Glad you liked it."
"Are you excited to be part of the Trauma team? We only have 3 doctors as of the moment and you'll be the 4th one. I am still looking for some and hope to get more but the end of the month." Jungkook said.
"I am, actually. I have been looking forward to it." Jin said.
"That's good to hear. Since we will also start accepting patients from emergency calls, I think it will start to get busier. You usually handle all of those, but it will be equally distributed now." Jungkook said while taking a sip of the wine.
"Yeah. I think that's a perfect way to really get the correct treatment for all patients."
"I agree." Jungkook said.
They talked more about the hospital's situation until they completed eating their dinner.
"I am full. I'll just rest for a while before I go back home." Jin said.
Jungkook cleared his throat and he tried to avoid panicking. "C-can you stay over? I mean, we're both on off tomorrow, maybe, j-just m-maybe we can stay late?"
"Uhm..." Jin did not know what to say. It's not that they did not do this before. They even sleep in the same bed when they were younger but this time, even staying the night in the same house seemed different.
"It's okay if you're not comfor---"
"Okay, I can stay. You have a guest room, right."
"I--I do." Jungkook said.
"Great. I can stay there if we get too late. What's your plan?" Jin asked.
"W-well, I have this new game in my room. C-can you come with me and take the console from there?" Jungkook asked.
"Sure. Should we play in the living room."
"Y-yes." Jungkook said drinking the whole glass of wine. "I'll just take these to the sink and clean them up later. Can you go there first?" Jungkook asked.
"Sure." Jin said.
Jungkook quickly took all the plates and put them in the sink, making sure that he'll be behind Jin to see his reaction and get his answer right away.
When Jin opened the room, his eyes widened with how everything were designed. He saw the flowers on the bef and read what was written in the wall. He covered his mouth as he gasped.
He looked behind and saw Jungkook.
He looked again in the room.
"I-is t-this r--real?" He asked him.
Jungkook nodded. "I told you that when I returned the promise ring for you to wear, I wanted to be true to you and wanted to promise that I will love you and only you. W-with t-that, I think one of its steps is t-to also commit to you formally." Jungkook said. "Kim Seokjin, w-will you be my boyfriend?"
Jin gasped again, not believing that he will finally hear it from Jungkook. The feeling is surreal.
He looked at Jungkook.
Jungkook got worried when he saw Jin crying.
"Oh my god, Jin, I'm sorry. If this is too much, I can walk you home." He said hugging Jin suddenly, hoping that he would stop crying.
"Yes, Jungkook." Jin said in a whisper.
"W-what?" Jungkook asked pulling away.
"Yes. I also want to be your boyfriend." He said then pulled Jungkook for a kiss.
