Juliet had just gotten back from Disney
Since Mason and Cara couldn't make it since they were ' busy ' but they all knew they were together they decided to go to a diner .
So Landon and Juliet met up later that day in fresh new outfits for there night out ,
So there they were
the group settled into their booth at the diner, Mason and Cara were wrapped up in their own little world, whispering sweet nothings and stealing glances at each other.
Juliet couldn't help but roll her eyes, nudging Landon playfully as they watched their friends' lovey-dovey antics.
"Can you believe those two?" Landon chuckled, shaking his head.Juliet grinned, shaking her head in mock disbelief.
"They're like something out of a romance movie."
Cara excused herself to use the restroom, leaving Mason, Juliet, and Landon alone at the table.
Juliet's cheerful facade faltered as she surreptitiously checked her phone for the umpteenth time, her brows furrowing with concern.
Mason noticed her change in demeanor and leaned in, his voice laced with genuine concern. "Hey, what's going on? You've been acting weird all evening."Juliet hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to confide in Mason about her tumultuous encounter with Walker.
But she trusted him implicitly, knowing that he always had her back."It's just... Walker," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "Remember when u where with Cara and that thing happened I thought maybe something would happen between us but he hasn't texted me or anything since then."
Mason's expression darkened with anger, his protective instincts kicking into overdrive. "Are you kidding me? He told me everything went great! That jerk..."
Landon, who had been listening intently, reached out to squeeze Juliet's hand in reassurance. "I'm sorry, Jules. You deserve better than that."
Juliet managed a weak smile, grateful for her friends' unwavering support. "Thanks, guys. I just don't know what to do."
Mason's protective instincts surged as he made a silent vow to confront Walker and demand answers. "Don't worry, Juliet," he said firmly, his voice resonating with determination. "I won't let him get away with this. You're like a sister to me, and I won't stand by while someone treats you like this."
Mason and Landon exchanged a knowing glance before enveloping Juliet in a comforting hug. "We've got your back, always," Mason reassured her
As they waited for Cara to return, Mason and Landon vowed to have a serious talk with Walker the next time they saw him. In the meantime, Juliet took solace in the comforting presence of her friends, knowing that she didn't have to face her heartache alone.
As Mason's protective instincts flared, Cara returned from the bathroom, her cheerful demeanor faltering as she noticed the somber atmosphere at the table.
"Hey, what's going on?" Cara asked, her brows furrowing with concern as she slid back into her seat. She could sense the tension radiating from Juliet and the steely resolve in Mason's expression.
Juliet hesitated, exchanging a meaningful look with Cara before speaking. "Code yellow blue," she murmured, her voice barely audible over the din of the diner.
Cara's eyes widened in realization, her jaw dropping in disbelief. "That fucker," she muttered under her breath, her protective instincts kicking into overdrive.
Mason and Landon exchanged confused glances, their brows furrowing in puzzlement at the cryptic exchange between Juliet and Cara.
