Hello hello,

one more update

see you on next weekend.

-----------------

Despite the strained atmosphere, Ragini found solace in caring for Rudra. It had been years since they had spent time together like this, and despite Rudra's silent demeanor, she sensed his contentment because of her presence.

Rudra's mother, on the other hand, was visibly irritated by his behavior towards Ragini. She couldn't understand why he was being so distant and cold towards his sister. However, Ragini assured her that it was only temporary, hoping to ease her concerns and maintain peace in the household.

Ragini made every effort to make Rudra feel important. She cooked his favorite meals whenever she got the chance, and Rudra, though he didn't express it openly, found solace in these small gestures of affection.

In Rudra's study, Sanskar, Abhay, and Rudra sat down to discuss matters that were pressing upon them. While Rudra harbored a certain discomfort with Sanskar's presence in his home, their longstanding friendship prevailed.

Abhay, the mediator, tried to ease the tension between Rudra and Sanskar. He emphasized their long history together and urged Rudra to set aside their differences for the greater good.

Rudra, though skeptical of Sanskar's intentions, reluctantly engaged in the conversation. Deep down, he couldn't shake the feeling of Sanskar's intention towards Ragini, and that notion of them together, didn't sit well with him.

Despite his reservations, Rudra understood that there were larger issues at hand that required their attention.

"Anirban was present on the day those compromising pictures were projected." Abhay spoke

Rudra's eyebrows furrowed "Anirban? What was he doing there?"

Abhay sighed, frustration evident in his voice. "He was about to make an entrance to create a scene, but before he could, some men dragged him away."

Rudra's eyes narrowed. "Who were these men? Did you manage to get any details?"

Abhay shook his head. "No, they pulled him away too quickly. But it's clear that Anirban was involved"

Sanskar's mind raced, trying to connect the dots. 'Anirban... he is trying to take revenge'

Rudra seemed to share the same suspicion, his gaze locking onto Sanskar with intensified anger.

"It's not my fault," Sanskar interjected, sensing Rudra's accusatory glare.

As they finalized their next steps, Sanskar's gaze casually shifted towards the snack tray. Without much thought, he picked up a matri and took a bite, savoring its taste.

"These are delicious," Sanskar remarked, unaware of the tension building in the room.

Rudra swiftly snatched the snack from Sanskar's hand. "Ragini prepared these for me," he asserted, his tone tinged with possessiveness.

Sanskar chuckled, pushing the teasing further. "Ah, yes! Ragini's culinary skills are unmatched. Looks like she really knows how to take care of you saale sahab"

Rudra's eyes narrowed at the jab, catching the subtle implication. "Watch it, Sanskar," he warned, his tone laced with barely concealed annoyance.

Sanskar smirked, enjoying getting under Rudra's skin. "Relax, No need to get so defensive."

Rudra's jaw tensed, his patience wearing thin. "Keep pushing, Sanskar, and you'll find yourself in a place called hospital" he retorted sharply.

"Sanskar," Abhay's voice cut through the banter, a warning tone lacing his words.

Sanskar let out an exasperated sigh, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Fine, fine. I was just joking," he conceded, a hint of amusement still lingering in his tone.

As Ragini busily worked in the kitchen, Sanskar's presence caught her off guard. Sensing his approach, she made a swift decision to leave the room, not wanting to engage with him. However, Sanskar intercepted her.

"Ragini, wait..."

But she silently continued walking

"Ladoo!" she rolled her eyes and continued moving

"Ragu!" a mixture of annoyance and resignation in her expression.

"Half wife!"

She abruptly stopped her irritation reaching its peak "Don't call me that"

"Then can I call you rest?"

Ragini lets out an exasperated sigh, feeling a surge of frustration "Sanskar, please..."

"Ragini, I'm sorry"

Ragini angrily snapped at him "Sorry? For what, for almost marrying me?"

"I did it to help you."

Ragini sarcastically "Oh, how noble of you"

"You should be grateful. I brought Rudra there"

"you bought Rudra there"

Sanskar shrugs, a hint of resignation in his expression "Do you think he just magically appeared there?"

Ragini mocking, her words laced with sarcasm "Thank you, Sanskar for your help"

Sanskar sighed, feeling a mix of frustration and regret "Ragini, listen..."

But she royally ignored him, Sanskar stood there, his frustration simmering beneath the surface as Ragini stormed off, the door almost slamming in his face.

"Bhai punch marta hai aur behen ignore, Bhalayi ka toh zamana hi nahi hai," he muttered to himself, a mix of irritation and self-awareness in his tone.

"You deserved those punches," came her words, from inside which carried a hint of lingering anger and hurt.

----------

Abhay observed the entire interaction between Sanskar and Ragini, his eyebrows furrowing with concern. He couldn't help but feel that Sanskar had lost his mind.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Sanskar?" Abhay questioned, his tone edged with frustration. Sanskar merely shrugged, feigning ignorance.

"First, you were getting on Rudra's nerves. What was that 'saale saheb' about?"
" And now you're irritating Ragini," Abhay continued, his voice growing more exasperated with each word.

"Have you lost your mind or are you drunk?" he asked incredulously.

"I don't know, but it's fun to get under the skin of these siblings," Sanskar replied casually, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"You have gone mad for sure," Abhay muttered, shaking his head in disbelief.

Ragini was accompanying Rudra in his routine checkup

As she stood near the medical shop purchasing a few medicine, Suddenly, she felt a cloth pressed against her nose and mouth from behind. Panic surged through her as she struggled against the strong arms restraining her. Despite her efforts, the sweet-smelling scent of the cloth began to overwhelm her senses.

As the drug took effect, Ragini's vision blurred and her consciousness faded. Before she could comprehend what was happening, darkness enveloped her.

Unbeknownst to her, the assailant swiftly lifted her unconscious form and carried her away to a waiting van nearby.

Rudra stood outside the doctor's cabin, glancing anxiously at his watch. Thirty minutes had passed since Ragini went to the pharmacy, but she hadn't returned. Concern gnawed at him as he tried to call her, only to find her phone unreachable. He reasoned that perhaps the hospital vicinity had poor network coverage, hoping it was just a glitch.

As the minutes dragged on, Rudra's worry intensified. Every passing moment felt like an eternity, each second stretching painfully. Finally, unable to bear the uncertainty any longer, he decided to take matters into his own hands. He approached the medical shop, but he didn't find her.

He inquired nearby, but it yielded no results. The people at the medical shop claimed they hadn't seen any girl matching Ragini's description. Growing panic gripped Rudra as he frantically questioned others in the vicinity, hoping someone had seen her.

With a sinking feeling in his gut, Rudra realized that something was terribly wrong. Without wasting another moment, he dialed Sanskar and Abhay, urgently explaining the situation. Sanskar attempted to reassure him, suggesting that Ragini might be nearby and safe. But Rudra's instincts told him otherwise – he knew deep down that something was amiss.
