Days started passing by, Anika started getting leads very quickly because now she has confidence in herself. She is very close to catch the culprit, during her investigation she got to know that Meenakshi shoot a video of all the illegal activities going on in the industry with some data and she has stored it in a pendrive. Anika has tried really hard to get the pendrive but was unsuccessful so far.
Exhausted from the whole day she went to Oberoi mansion and was welcomed by a fight between Om and Rudra and everyone present at the dinner table.
O: Tu bta rha hai ya nhi?
R: O chhote bhai ko darate ho sharam nhi aati
O: Sharam my foot
Jhanvi: Rudra, enough is enough give back his book
Pinky: Anika??
Everyone looked at her, she smiled and touched dadi feet followed by senior Oberoi's. Pinky didn't let her touch her feet and pulled her in a hug and all smiled looking at them, these days their bond has become stronger.
A: What's the matter why they are fighting?
Tej: Rudra has taken Om's book which has all his designs and some new sketches and now he is not returning it back
O: Taken?? Dad he stole it from my room to annoy me
Shakti: But why?
O: Because I told Bhavya that he was flirting with his friend Neha
All gasped
R:(fake crying) See everyone is so disgusted by your act, I won't give it back to you
Dadi: Oye khoteya hum teri harkat pe chooke
All giggles
T: Exactly, what Bhavya must be feeling, pure idiot
R: He bhgwan
Is this your book Om?
Everyone turned around and Shivaay with a blue colour book in his hand. Rudra ran to grab it but Om was faster. He got away from those to monkeys and came towards Anika and side hugged her placing a kiss on her forehead. Shivaay whispered in her ears
S: In my room
He bite her earlobe making her stunned for a minute she looked at everyone who were busy with the argument of Om and Rudra. He smiled, winked and announced,
S: Okay guys, you can continue I am going to attend my meeting
R: No way bhaiya, you promised you are going to make dinner with us today
O: Tu vella hai iska mtlb ye nhi ki sb vella
R: Dadi samjha lo ye vella kisko bola
And again the fight began
Shivaay smiled and made his way towards his room, gesturing Anika to come soon. While Anika made them calm down and made Rudra guve back Om' book, also she promised him that she will talk to Bhavya and make her understand.
Jhanvi: No Anika why would you make her understand
She came forward and hit Rudra on his head
Jhanvi: He did the mistake so now he will be saying sorry and will make things normal again, chal tu mere sath
She took Rudra rather then dragged him by holding his ear. All laughed and retired to their work when Pinky sat with Anika
P: Any progress in your case?
A:(smiles) I am close Ma
P: Shivaay told me about your depression phrase, you didn't tell me anything
She looked down at her hands and replied
A: Aapko preshan nhi krna chahti thi
P: Hum family hai Anika
She quickly looked into Pinky's eye, She took Anika hands in hers
P: Family means that you have people with whom you can share your feelings, parivaar ka mtlb hi yhi ki sab ek dusre ka khayal rkhe, and you are my daughter, you can always come to me, Ma se baat krke na mind light hojata hai
This was enough for Anika and she started crying, Pinky wipped her tears and hugged her, she replied
A: I was never aware about this
She chuckles with tears
A: Na kbhi family thi, na Ma, but I have one now so I will definitely come to you. Thank you Ma, thank you so much
Pinky brushed her hand on her head with love.
P: Chl ab ja, Shivaay se bhi mil le and let me see this monkey what he is saying to Bhavya, khoteya
Anika laughed, she wiped her tears and Pinky left, she saw her leaving and thanked her stars for giving her a mother like her. She was scared that how she will win her heart and things can go normal but now it's more like a fairy tale. She went upstairs to Shivaay's room and saw him reading a file with full attention. She came towards him and snatched the file from his hand throwing it on the table in front and making her self comfortable on his lap, encircling her hands around his neck.
A: Heyyy
S: Hayeee
She chuckled while he kissed her cheek
S: So what made you so late?
A: Nothing I was talking to Ma
S: About?
A:(smirks) Top secret
He encircled his hands on her waist pulling her closer
S: Ugal vana aata hai mujhe
Anika gave him a look "like really"
A: Acha? ACP se ugal waoge?
S:(smiles) ACP hogi tum apne police station mein yaha to sirf meri Anika hai
Anika giggles while Shivaay's phone started ringing, he tried to ignore it but it was ringing continuously, he made an apologetic look and said
S: I need to take this
A: It's okay
She was about to stand but he gestures her to keep sitting, he connects his earpods, held her hand with one and with another he at times typed on his laptop kept on the table in front of them while talking, Anika blushed and took out her phone, pretending to see something but all her attention and focus was on their tangled hands.
Shivaay observed her for some minutes and suddenly pulled her chin up kissing her on her lips. He don't want to leave her but the other person was calling him continuously, so he left her and answered the person. Anika who was still processing what happened got a call from Shakti, she gestured Shivaay to leave her and shown him the caller ID. With a heavy heart shivaay leave her, she stood up and picked up the call
A: Hello
Shakti: Hello Anika
A: Ji papa, boliye
Shakti: Firstly I am so sorry to disturb you, you might be busy in your work
Anika blushed hard, of course she was too in "their work"
A: No papa, please don't say sorry tell me what happened?
Shakti: Well I need Dr Jyoti's number, it got misplaced by me
A:(worriedly) Why papa what happened? You are okay?
Shakti: Yes I am totally fine just that my friend needs her number, I told him that she is the best cardiologist so...
A: Okay, okay, I am sending you her number
Shakti: Okay beta
She hung up the call and sent the number to him while typing another message she got caged by two strong hands.
S: Whom are you texting?
A: Dr Jyoti, to know papa's recent reports
Shivaay smiled seeing her care towards his family. He always wanted his wife to be this caring towards his family.
S:(happily) I love you
A: I too love you jaan
She turned towards him looking in his eyes
A: Thank you for everything, you are the best thing that ever happened to me, I can't explain how much I love you, I really can't
She hugged him tight while he was thrilled to get these heart touching lines and knowing the fact that it's vice versa she has made his life the magical one.

The next day in the police station she was finding all the places where Meenakshi could hide the pen drive but all her hard work was in vain. A constable appeared in her cabin
C: Madam!!
A: What is it Bakshi? I am busy right now
C: Madam Mr Thapar is waiting for you outside
Anika and other people in her team sitting in her cabin with her stood up from their chair listening to this, she looked at Jay and gestured him to control himself, the man outside has snatched his love from him he can do all bad things to him but his uniform is desisting him. All moved behind Anika in a hurry, she came and saw Kuldeep Thapar with his son Abhay Thapar and men sitting comfortably on the chair.

Thapar saw Anika and stood from his chair, walking towards her with his evil smile
K: Oh my God! Anika look at you, what have you done to yourself
A: It's ACP for you Mr Thapar
K: Oh! Should I be scared
All his men started laughing
Anika looked at them and took dangerous steps towards him, if looks can kill all would have died till now. The men stopped laughing and Thapar looked at Anika standing right in front of her
A: I am this close, the moment I get the proof, tujhe and tere in pillo ko vahi goli marugi jaha tum logo ne Meenakshi ko feka tha
Abhay:(smirks) Proof milega tb na
T: Mein bhi dekhta hu kon kisko goli marega... Oh by the way I came here to congratulate you over this
He took out his phone and showed her the article published by the media. Anika got stunned for a moment. The article heading says,
Renowned Business Man, the heir of Oberoi industries Shivaay Singh Oberoi was seen with a common girl, we suspect the girl to be ACP Anika who has been charged for not being able to protect her own associate.
Anika gave him a dangerous stare
K: Come on ACP Madam aapko paise chaiye to hum se mang leti ye humare rival ke sath mil kar aapne acha nhi kiya
Abhay: Pathetic, what you got in return to please him?
All the officers clutched their hands, they know this bastard is crossing his limit but they can't do anything as their boss is standing with a cold expression on her face, listening to his nonsense.
Abhay:(smirk) Well if you would have come to me I would have......

Anika didn't let him complete the sentence and slapped him hard, he fell, when all officers swell in pride, he stood in rage and pulled out his gun pointing at Anika while in reflex all other officers took out their gun and points at Abhay.
Anika gives a nice punch on his hand which resulted in the gun flying away while Jay came and hand cuffed him.
Abhay: What the hell?
K: What's this nonsense, you can't arrest my son
A: I can
Anika said loud and clear
A: Your son pointed his gun at an on duty police officer and proof is the cctv right there
Kuldeep clutched his hand and saw his son getting behind the bars Anika came to him with a smile on her face and hands in her pocket.
A: Not able to understand what happened right? Let me explain it to you, tune mere boyfriend ka use kiya apne mtlb k liye, mene tere bete ka use kiya apne mtlb ke liye hisab barabar.
Anika took straight in his eyes
A: You wanted to play the media game with me right? Now go and play this game for your son
He went away giving last look to her and his son.
Anika came back to her cabin when Jay entered
J: Mam what do we need to do with him?
Anika looked blankly at the ceiling, she has no idea what to do next also now there is a new thing to face, the media.
A: Jay, I don't what we are going to do with him but make sure that the time he is spending here haunt him for life
Jay understood what she meant, she neither gave any orders nor she let him live peacefully that's the ACP Anika. Jay left the cabin, Anika was so scared to open her phone and look at the news. Nevertheless her phone started ringing, she saw the caller id and signed in relief. Picking up the phone she answered,
A: Hey Gauri
G: Hello Bhabhi, how are you?
A: I am okay, you tell me what's up?
G: Bhabhi I saw the news, so sorry
A: Yeah I got to know that just a few minutes ago
G: I know you and bhaiya decided to not disclose it to the media, but how did it happen?
A: It's a long story Gauri, we have scum people around
G: Don't worry Bhabhi, I called to tell you that if you need any help from me as my mother was the chief editor of the news channel, if you want we can make the news vanish as if it never existed
A: That's so sweet of you Gauri, but i haven't talked to Shivaay about this, once I'll talk to him then let's see what to do
G: Okay Bhabhi, see you then
A: Bye
She kept her phone down and started thinking about why Shivaay has not called yet.
