She turned around with one cookie in her mouth and the other in her hand he chuckled she giggled

He sung to her and kissed on her cheek she giggled he smiled and sat up

He chuckled and got her some milk

Zay-"so today we need to do a whole lotta shopping right"

Zara-"uummmm!...da mall"

He said giving her her other sock as she pulled up the other
Zara-"because if the ice cream..."

Zara-"daddy did mommy ever give u a time for our ice cream date"

He bit his cheek thinking about her blocked number and swallowed hard holding back his anger and words

She smiled hard and giggled making him smile she put her shoes on he tied them then they got her bag and got in the car and she buckled her seatbelt

He got in and started the car and gave her his phone she played music they got to the mall and got out

He squatted to her
Zara-"is mommy going to come back"
Zay-*sigh um...promise me u won't be upset because if u get upset I'm going to get upset and u saw what happens when daddy gets upset"
She nodded

He saw her lip slowly coming out meaning she was ready to cry she pulled and squeezed her finger trying to hold it

Zay-"there u go that is perfectly fine it's normal baby crying makes u stronger and because your expressing that now your already better in the future"
She sniffled he picked her up and held her tight then sat in his seat and comforted her rubbing her back and wiping her tears

Zay-"I couldn't really tell...when she had u she claimed to be working but I found her out doing drugs with some old friends from school...not to mention she cheated on me"

Zay-"she was with someone else even though we're in a relationship and that's not right"

He saw her tears building back up

She laid her head down on his chest his tears fell he caught them and took a deep breath holding her tight

They sat for a couple more minutes then he gave her a shopping spree that she mainly made him buy him stuff

She pulled it off the hanger breaking it then ran it to him the people around him laughed

They awed Zay smiled

She smiled they awed more Zara giggled

He smiled she went behind him to the ribbons and hair bows

She smiled and went to the rack and reached up they went to help her

They backed up she jumped up and got it herself

She took them back and got her size in each one then clarified with Zay

She got them and came back he smiled seeing they were the matching ones to his

She giggled
The lady paid for her skirts and pants Zay went to the counter and put down her other stuff and put her on the counter and gave her his card she held the number to her chest
Zara-"I bite u"

She showed him her teeth he showed her his they laughed the cashier scanned the stuff and gave the total
Cashier-"and u can press the green button it's right-"
Zara-"um I'm not dumb"
Zay s eyes widened then he looked down she pressed the button and tapped the card
Cashier-"excuse me"
Zara-"I know which one it is I don't like how your looking at my daddy"
Zay picked her up and kissed her cheek

He got the bags and the receipt and they left he put her down then they laughed together
