The rest of my life has been ripped apart to shreds
Now that he's gone
My future used to look like a lit up stage just before
The curtain opened, potential and story suspended in the air
The excitement of preparing to perform for a captive audience
Then the curtains caught fire, and the demonic blaze
Spread throughout the theater, up the riggings, backstage
And into the audience, the heavy smoke of grief
Clouding the air
The fire burned like hell, but I could not escape the theater
It was my world, and nothing existed outside of it
The flames consumed me, scorched me inside and out
My world came crashing down on top of me, and I was
Trapped under its heavy burden
The fires eventually died down, and I reluctantly
Observed what was left of my theater, my life
What I saw terrified me
Nothing but charred ruins remained
I knew right away that this theater could never be rebuilt
There was, however, one spot in the theater where a
Flame always blazed
I could always make that fire grow, make the world
Burn, surrounded in an inferno, tears dripping down
My face
