I'm Crying

I'm crying
I know I am
I can feel the tears wellng in my eyes and falling sideways on my pillow
I'm crying
I know I am
I'm trying to be quiet, if I make noise she'll hear me I don't want to know what would happen then
I'm crying

Fuck. I made a sound, she definitely knows now. She's going to yell at me for being a crybaby
I'm crying

I'm shaking, too. I didn't know that. She's here, she can see me, she's going to be mad I'm crying
I know I am
I'm hyperventilating. I think that's what's happening. I can't breathe. She's here, she's going to be so upset with me
I'm crying

I can see her face, I think she's talking. I can hear her voice but her words are messy, my brain can't put them together
I'm crying

I can feel her hand on mine, she's here. I don't think she's mad, she's going to think I'm weird
I'm crying
I know I am
When did she start hugging me? I don't know but it feels nice. Maybe she's not mad
I'm crying
I know I am
-but the tears are slowing and I think I can breathe again. Maybe she doesn't think I'm weird
I'm crying
I know I am
I can see her, I can hear her, I can feel her, she's here. She's not mad
I was crying
I know I was
She just has one question: "why were you crying?"
I was crying
"I don't know why"
I hope she's not mad at my answer.
