I check my phone and I see almost every family member text me to have a safe flight, currently I am leaving CA to go to NYC .
As I boarded my first class flight assigned to me by my modeling agency I quickly go to get in a seat.

"I have been on this plane for HOURS"
I groaned to my bodyguard named Jacques
"I assure you we'll be off soon, just wait it out."
He hands me some snacks to distract me
"OUUH , I haven't had these in YEARS"
I ferociously open the bag just to find that he's had some

I scoffed at him as I
start to mean mug him because his big self ate half the bag
Jacques laughed as I never saw him this unserious around me
It made me feel sorta safe.
I looked out my window to see us almost there and this place looks pretty big.
Not to seem like some weird outsider but gosh.
I never saw such a pretty sight.

We're finally at NYC and we were reserved this fancy hotel called
"Nights At Wishes"
And I supposedly had a dinner party to go to tonight, which was just PERFECT.
No it's not. I don't wanna be around people rn.
Anyhow.
I took a Power Nap then was brutally woken up by Jaques to get ready for this dinner party I had to attend to meet my modeling agency.

As we drive in this wide limo I see the beautiful city of Brooklyn, I look like a curious puppy staring out the window as I point to everything I see as Jacques answers all my questions about this place.
We arrive at our destination and I step out the car by my bodyguards assistance with him sprinting out the car to open the door for me.
Paparazzi surrounded this restaurant as I entered and I was severely photographed.
"Jesus.. can these people learn personal space!" I thought to myself.
But I smile and waved at every last one of them because I need this job ..and the money
*flash*
I was being photographed until my tall ass got inside the building.
It was quite awkward having Jacques all up on me making sure I don't get groped

I look around when I'm finally in the restaurant and I hear a cacophony
Of laughter from a certain table
"This must be where my team is.."
I sighed to myself as I look down and strut down to the oval table trying to maintain a dominant aura
"Oh there she is! You're Y/N L/N , correct?"

"Yes ma'am this is she."
I say confidently to the woman speaking to me
"Oh love, please sit. We need those legs of
yours relaxed until the magic happens."
The blonde woman says in awe at me
While she looks me up and down
Now I do admit I feel like a peasant surrounded by all these rich people
I feel quite silly and made fun of.
So I just complied and tried to keep my head down for now until I am spoken too.
"She's captivating to look at Ms . Coolidge, you weren't lying."
A man says while his eyes watch me like a hawk as I look up at him
"Thank you al-"
I soon am cut off by a waiter coming at our table to take our orders

I ended up settling with some stew. It was quite tasty.
As I was digging in I glare at Ms . Coolidge as I have a few words and am comfortable to speak.
" You guys REALLY didn't have to take me out , but this is really nice. I'm happy to meet all of you."
I exclaim to win a saint image in their eyes
But to my surprise all of them laugh in my face
"She's a doll guys, such a kind lady."
Ms . Coolidge says with her pristine smile marking my intuition with unsureness if I should even be here
I just continue to eat and hope for the best,
I just wanted to shove every scoop in my face because I haven't eaten all day

By the end of dinner we are all talking but yet I feel like a outcast and a house pet
But yet I do NOT care because as I said.
I need the money.
I guess I was in my head and I started thinking about what happened for me to get in this place.

(FLASHBACK BEFORE Y/N CAME TO NEW YORK)
Y/n mom : "You're FUCKING going to model. I don't care how 'overwhelmed' you feel. I'm your mother. You listen to ME."
Y/n : "You're turning my dream into something I no longer want to be associated with. I'm not going to New York. You can tell that modeling agency to remove my name from the list."
My mom walked over to me and slapped me after I expressed my opinion on this topic
I think this was the most terrified I've been.
Y/n's mom : "You may be 18. But you still live under my damn roof. You're going. Say another fucking word and I will cut you bitch."
My mom furiously walks away as I'm still shocked with my ears ringing from the vibrations of the hard slap
I start to tear up knowing I had no other choice
My family didn't grow up wealthy and i
was the only one with a sense of talent
Of course they're gonna use me to my advantage
But hey, at least I can get the fuck away from her threats and constant harassment

(BACK IN PRESENT TIME)
I snap out my sudden train of thoughts when Ms . Coolidge had a question for me
Ms Coolidge : So sweetheart, how long do you plan to be in New York
Me: I have to STAY here??
Ms . Coolidge : Yes! Did you not read the contract fully?
As she said this, my face started to muster up a smile that you couldn't truly tell what was behind it.
Me : That's amazing.
I say as my tongue flicks back in my mouth in a shock but listening manner
And before my eyes it was time to go
As we all walk out to get paparazzi are still lurking and waiting to catch pictures of me
I was ready for it.
I went out there with confidence and with my head held high.
I don't think anybody could take this feeling away
From me
It was pure Ecstasy.
So once I escape the paparazzi and finally made it back near the limo
I hop back in the car with Jaques
And my first impression was..decent?
