Papyrus has explained a few things there and there. He told me that Sans used to make puns in the weirdest situations, was an extremely lazy skeleton, and that he loved to go to Grillbys to drink their ketchup condiment.

I must admit.. I almost gagged when I heard he loved to drink ketchup.. Honestly, I don't mind ketchup. But if it's straight out the bottle? Chaotic evil.

Papyrus had also told me to wear 'my' jacket and slippers since he wanted to take a walk around Snowdin in order to jog 'my' memories.

I shrugged at myself before I made my way towards the room the original 'Sans' slept in. Once I made my way inside it, I searched for the jacket to which I found lying on the floor. I grabbed it before sniffing it, making sure that it was clean before I wore it.

My skeletal feet made it's way to the bright pink slippers as I put it on, feeling really comfortable and cozy in the outfit. 'Huh.. No wonder why this 'Sans' wore this.. It's really comfortable to the point I could literally sleep while standing..'

I dozed off a bit before shaking my head as I made my way back downstairs, seeing Papyrus perk up at my short figure with a smile. "LETS GO SANS! THIS WILL PROBABLY HELP YOU REMEMBER! NYEH HEH HEH!"

My heart melted at Papyrus's laugh, feeling really fuzzy inside as I sent him a nod. "Yeah.. I'm snow ready." I could see Papyrus freeze at the pun I made, making me a bit worried.

"Uhh.. You alright Papyrus?" I tilted my head as I placed a hand on his back, looking into the back of his skull as I watched him let out quiet chuckles.

"IT'S JUST THAT.. I MISSED YOUR PUNS." my permanent grin faltered a bit as I just let out a sigh. I Pat his back a few times as he opened the front door as cold wind hit against my face.

I would've shivered if I had any skin, But fortunately for me I don't. I stared in awe at the amount of snow raining down the area as I walked outside, looking at my right side to see that we were in some kind of magical cave.

I watched how the monster residents go on their daily lives as I stared in awe on how magical this place felt. Papyrus walked past me as he signalled me to follow to which I did.

I kept looking around the snowy area as the pearly white snow crunches under our feet. I put my hands in the jackets pockets as my eyes landed on a library named...

"Librarby?" I questioned out loud before chuckling at its misspelling. Papyrus let out a NYEH before turning to look at me. "INDEED. THE OWNER BELIEVED NO ONE WOULD NOTICE." I snorted at that before I looked at papyrus with lazy eyes.

"I-ce." I chuckled out a pun before pointing finger guns at Papyrus who took a while to understand. Papyrus let out a muffled laugh as my grin widened. "You're laughing!"

"IT IS BECAUSE I MISSED YOUR PUNS. BUT PLEASE DON'T DO IT DAILY AGAIN." I gave him a shrug before placing my hands back in the jacket pockets as we went back to walking towards a restaurant. "YOU KNOW.. YOU JUST ACT JUST THE SAME.. MINUS THE MEMORY OF COURSE!"

I stared at the snow we walked on with a saddened gaze. "Yeah.." My mind spiraled into deep thoughts, not really wanting Papyrus to find out about me not even being his brother.

I let out a sigh as Papyrus stopped in his tracks, finally standing in front of the restaurant named 'Grillbys'. "Oh hey.. Is that the restaurant you told me I liked?"

I questioned as I tilted my head at Papyrus who nodded back "YES. AS MUCH AS I HATE THE GREASE THEY HAVE, I MUST VISIT IT ONCE MORE WITH YOU IN ORDER TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR MEMORY."

I glanced back at the restaurant before pushing the door open as it let out a ring, signalling that we have entered the establishment.

I saw multiple dog monsters turn their heads towards the door before they all bore their gazes on me. I swallowed back my fear as I felt myself sweat under their gazes.

"Oh my god.. SANS?!" One dog monster yelled out in shock as the rest of them started cheering as I followed behind Papyrus with a nervous look on my face.

"Ohh.. Hi.. Hello uh.. Mhm.." I mumbled out to every dog monster who welcomed me as anxiety overfilled my senses. I sat on the barstool chair the restaurant had before a long comical fart sound echoed all around the bar.

I felt embarrassment rush to my face as I felt my cheeks warm up. "You're so funny Sansy! Acting like you forgot your own whoopie cushion trick!" One dog monster barked out as the rest of the monsters roared out in laughter.

"Heh.. Yeah.. The old whoopie cushion in the chair trick..." I confidently said as I pushed back my embarrassment, feeling my cheeks heat up even more as I saw Papyrus sit next to me with a sympathetic look on his face, patting my back a bit as I lowered my head on my arms

I groaned in embarrassment as I hid my face with my arms as Papyrus tried his best to cheer me up. "ITS ALRIGHT SANS! YOU'LL PROBABLY REMEMBER ABOUT IT SOON! I BELIEVE IN YOU!" I peeked an eye out at Papyrus before giving him a slight warm smile.

"Thanks Papyrus.." I mumbled out as I heard fire crackling rise in volume, making me lift my head to see a person on fire..?!

I sat up right as I stared at the fire bartender in front of me in disbelief. "Goo..d to ...see y...ou back... Sansy..." The fire monster sparked out with a few fire crackles.

Papyrus motioned for the fire bartender to bring his ear over before Papyrus whispered something in his ear(??) As the bartender stood up right with a nod. "I.. Se..e."

The fire monster looked at Papyrus as if he was giving him a sympathetic look before turning to me, making me hold back a flinch as I felt myself sweat under his gaze.

"I..'ll bri..ng the usu..al" The fire monster turned around and went into an employees only door, making me immediately snap my neck towards Papyrus in concern. "What did you tell him..?"

I whisper yelled in worry as Papyrus leaned in to me, whispering really quiet with his high tones voice. "I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE CURRENT SITUATION YOU HAVE IS ALL.." I let out a sigh before turning to look back at the fire monster who came back with a bottle of ketchup.. And that was it.

I looked utterly confused as the bartender placed down the ketchup bottle, hoping that at least the bottle would spark up a memory to which it didn't.

"I'll.. rein..troduce.. Myself.." The fire monster seemed to let out an airy sigh before placing it's arms behind it's back. "my.. name is... grill..by."

My eyes shot wide as I felt myself a bit stupid for not realizing that the restaurant was named after him. "Uh.. Nice ta meet'cha Grillby.." I twirled the ketchup bottle around my finger as I glanced at Papyrus who looked at me in anticipation.

I gulped back the disgust before I lifted up the bottle to my teeth as I slowly took a chug. I closed my eyes as the ketchup like taste slimed down my throat(?) As I held back a gag.

Once I finished the bottle, I placed it down as I held back the urge to tear up and gag at how disgusting it felt. Once I looked up at Grillby and Papyrus, both were staring at me way too hard to which I sent them a shaky thumbs up. "y-yup.. Still love it.."

I gave them a shaky grin as both of them let out a relieved sigh. "AS MUCH AS I DON'T LIKE HOW UNHEALTHY IT IS, I'M GLAD YOU AT LEAST LIKE SOMETHING YOU DID BEFORE.." I could see Grillby nodding at Papyrus's statement, making my heart twist in guilt.

"Yeah.. Me too. I guess I still have a lot to ketch-up with." I shrugged with a close eyed smirk as the whole entire establishment laughed, making me flinch a bit from the sudden wave of laughter.

"Good one Sansy!"

"it's as good as your other puns!"

"Keep it up Sans!"

Multiple monsters threw in their compliments as the laughter died down, making me look to the side with sweat dribbling down my forehead. "Err.." Papyrus sensed my discomfort as he put a hand on my shoulder, making me flinch once again.

Papyrus sent me an apologetic look before helping me out the mess. "NONETHELESS.. LET US GO BACK TO WALKING AROUND, SANS." I gave Papyrus a nod as I saw Grillby grab the empty condiment with a crackle.

"I'll.. Put this... In yo..ur t..ab." I sent Grillby a thankful look before Papyrus grabbed my hand, making me stumble quite a bit while he dragged me out the building. The cold harsh wind hit against me once more as I watched the snow continue on to fall.

"NYEH HEH HEH! THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHOULD SHOW YOU HIS GREAT PUZZLE MAKING SKILLS AGAIN!" Papyrus dragged me as we walked on the snow for a while, each of the Snowdins residents sending me their greetings as we passed by them.

After a while of walking, Papyrus let go of my arm as we stopped in front of a puzzle Papyrus looked so proud of. "THIS IS CALLED, MATCH THE X'S! THIS PUZZLE IS THE EASIEST OF MY OTHER ONES!"

I let out a hum as I approached the puzzle, glancing at Papyrus behind me who looked excited for me to try it. I looked back at the puzzle before stepping on the O as it turned into an X instead, making me realize the goal of this puzzle.

I walked around as I stepped on each O with ease, glancing back at Papyrus mid puzzle to see his eyes sparkling with anticipation. I shrugged at it before I finished the puzzle, stepping on the reset switch as it let out a cheery alarm sound, marking my success.

Papyrus skipped over to me as he grabbed me by my armpits, spinning me around as I limped in his hold with surprise coating my expression. "W-woah!-"

"W-WOWIE! YOU FINALLY TRIED MY PUZZLE SANS! WITHOUT SLEEPING MIDWAY AS WELL! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!" Papyrus set me down as I stumbled, feeling my head spin as I let out a groan.

Papyrus let out one more squeal before announcing with his cape flowing in the wind. "I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL HELP YOU REMEMBER WITH MY GREAT PUZZLE MAKING SKILLS!"

{~Timeskip brought to you by an annoying dog stealing Papyrus's special attack.~}

'We've gone over many.. Many puzzles.. Way too much to count. Honestly, I'd really love a nap.'

My eyes drooped a bit as I felt my eyes drop, feeling my consciousness fade a bit before I fell into slumber.

I let out quiet snores, not realizing that Papyrus had been observing my sleep standing figure with a small sad smile on his face. I felt papyrus pick me up and hold me over his shoulder as he patted my back.

"I'M GLAD YOU'RE STILL THE SAME.. BROTHER." I snored out loud as Papyrus walked back home with me in his arms, finally entering our house. I felt him set me down on my mattress, pushing away the curled up green sheets away before grabbing a blanket and setting it over my sleeping figure.

Papyrus stroked my skull a bit before he went to shut the lights off, leaving my room as he left as the door let out a quiet click sound as I was left sleeping in my dark room.

This place was closer to home than how my old life did.
