They say that through your life, your mother and father are the only people you can count on.
"Your parents are all you should trust"
"One day you must repay them for all they've done"
"Respect them as they raised you well"
In no way was this true for our dear (y/n). She was raised in a house of women. Her father was a general who had a one night stand and then left. He knew of her and she of him, but that didn't change that she loved and stayed with her mother.
Her whole life she watched the women; her mother, grandmother, and aunty; raise her with nothing but pure strength and grace. She loved the women in her family.
When she was offered the chance to live with her father in a large home with her brother and stepmother, she rejected. She wanted to stay with the strong women in her family.
Who knew she would have to leave to put her whole life on the line.
