After two years.....
Ramkumar and Devi retired to their room after had their dinner. Aadhvik and Sameera went for a walk in the garden.
Samee: Podhum Aadhvikey nadakka mudila kaal valikkidhu (she said with little panting)
AK : Sari vaa ma apdi ukkaralam
Aadhvik held her hand and helped her to sit on the bench. He sat on the ground and placed her foot on his lap.
Aadhvik started pressing her swollen foot.Sameera felt relaxed and leaned back with a smile.
Samee: Podhum pa vali kammi aagittu inga vaanga (she patted the place next to her)
Aadhvik got up from the ground and sat beside her and wounded his one hand around her shoulder and another hand on her full grown baby bump.
Aadhvik caressed her stomach and feels the movements of his baby.
Samee: Neenga kai vacha mattum nalla move pandran pa
Aadhvik chuckled and kissed her stomach.
AK: Ava dad's little princess so yen touch avallukku correct a theriyidhu
Sameera glared him while Aadhvik smiled sheepishly.
Samee: Neenga ipdiyae sollittu erunga yen paiyan unga moojilayae odhaikka poran
AK: Paiyan lam illa ponnu dhan
Samee: Illa illa paiyan dhan I'm damn sure
AK: Ohhh apdiya paapoma yaaru win pandranga nu
Samee: Haan paapom paapom kandippa naan dhan win pannuvan
AK: Innum konja naal dhan yen ponnu vandhadhum paaru naanga yenna pandrom nu
Samee : Adhallam illa paiyan dhan neenga vena kaettu paarunga
Aadhvik smirked at her and touched her baby bump.
AK: Paapa kaettingalla unga amma yenna soldra nu neeyae badhil sollu ma
Aadhvik pouted as he didn't feel any movements.
Samee: Dei kutty paiya nee Amma chellam dhaana
Instantly the baby responded her with a kick while Aadhvik widened his eyes.
Sameera smiled widely and showed her tongue out.
Samee : Paathingala naan dhan sonnan la
AK: Idhallam bongu naan sonnadhukku yen ponnu late a react pannirukka avlodhaan
Samee: Ohhh apdiya appo indha time neenga naan sonnadhayae kelunga
AK: Hmm dei kutty paiya nee amma chellama da
Again the baby kicked her stomach making Sameera squeal in excitement. Aadhvik looked at her with open mouthed.
Samee: Naan dhan sonnan la ippo confirm pannittingala
AK : Hmm
Aadhvik pouted looking at her and Sameera pecked his pout.
Samee: Ungallukku paiyan venama pa
AK: Apdilam illa ma yendha kozhandhanalum namma kozhandha dhaana
Samee: Aprm yen ponnu ku ivlo aasa padringa
AK: Adhu yennakku unna maadhiriyae oru mini version venum (he kissed her forehead)
Sameera smiled at him and leaned on his chest.
Samee: Aadhvikey naan namma paiyannukku name kooda fix pannittan
AK: Really?
Samee : Hmmm
AK: Yenna name?
Samee: Surprise ippo solla maattan
AK: Sollu ma illana yen thalaiyae vedichidum
Samee: No neenga mattum yenakku surprise yenna nu sollirukkingala naan solla maattan pa
AK: Please ma please ma please ma
Samee: Neenga unga tape recorder a off pannunga neenga yethana time kaettalum naan solla maattan
AK: Please Sara sollu ma naan paavam la (he asks with a puppy face)
Samee : Indha moonjilam velaikku aagadhu naan solla maattan pa
AK: Podi yenta pesadha (he turns his face)
Samee: Ohhh apdiya pesa maattingala
He didn't respond her and kept silent.
Samee: Sari sari pesadhinga naan naalaikku amma veettuku poiduvan adhukkulla neenga pesalanna unga call a kooda attend panna maattan
Aadhvik instantly turned around and hugged her. Sameera smiled and kissed his cheeks.
AK: Sara
Samee: Hmm
AK: Naalaikki ponuma ingayae erukkalam la
Sameera chuckled and held his arms.
AK: Naan unna nalla paathuppan ma ingayae eru ma
Samee: First delivery ku amma veetla dhan erukkanumam pa
AK: Hmmkmm nee ingayae eru naan venumna work from home kooda paakkuran unkoodavey erukkan ma
Samee: Aadhvikey amma kum aasa erukkum la delivery time la yenna paathukkanum nu naan poittu varan pa
AK: Hmm (he nuzzled his face on her shoulders seeking his comfort)
Sameera caressed his hair and patted his back. They stayed like that for few minutes.
Aadhvik broke the hug and carried her to their room. He carefully placed her on the bed and hugged her gently.
Sameera looked at him and he looked little upset. She leaned forward and kissed his forehead.
Aadhvik smiled and pulled her to his embrace and slept like that.
The next day.....
Devi and Brindha helped Sameera to drape the saree. Pavi braided her hair and put little make-up to her.
Bri: Azhaga erukka da
Devi: Aama function mudinjadhum marakkama suththi podanum
Sameera smiled at them and Sharadha entered the room.
Sha: Ready pannittingala?
Bri: Pannittom ma
Samee: Paatti naan yepdi erukkan
Sha: Unakku yenna da kannu azhaga thanga sela maadhiri erukka
Sharadha cracked her knuckles.
Sha: Sari vaanga nalla neram start aagittu valayal podanum
Sameera nodded her hand and moved towards the place. Aadhvik checked the decorated seat for her and placed the cushion pillow to make her comfortable.
He heard a throat clearing sound and turned around to see Sameera. Aadhvik smiled widely and helped her to sit.
Sha: Aadhvik neeyum pakkathula ukkaru pa
Aadhvik nodded and sat beside her.The ladies insisted Sharadha to start the ritual. Sharadha took some sandal paste and applied it on Sameera's cheek and hands. She took few glass bangles and made her wear that.
After that Brindha and Devi followed the same. The elders blessed the couples showering the flowers.
Devi: Aadhvik neeyum valayal poattu vidu pa
Sameera smiled widely and stretched forward her hands to him.
Sha: Paaruda purushan valayal podanum nu sonnadhum yevlo sandhoshaththa
The other members in the hall laughed looking at her. Aadhvik rubs his nape while Sameera bit her tongue.
Aadhvik took few glass bangles and made Sameera wear it. Rakshan clicked every moment on his camera.
After few minutes passed like this and Sameera was looked tired Devi insisted Aadhvik to took her to their room to take rest.
Aadhvik nodded and took Sameera to their room. He helped her to change into a lite saree.
AK: Naan unakku juice kondu varan ma
Samee: Illa pa venam tired a erukku konjam rest edukkuranae
She laid on the bed stretching her arms.
AK: Hmm sari vaa naan massage panni vidran
Samee: Venam neenga vaanga
Aadhvik laid down on the bed with her in his embrace and kissed her forehead.
Sameera slowly drifted off to sleep and Aadhvik caressed her hair with a constant smile on his face.
After an hour a door knock sound break his trance. He slowly removes himself and opened the door to see Devi and Brindha.
Devi: Samee yenga da
AK: Thoongura ma
Bri : Sari avala yezhuppunga maapla time aagudhu
AK: Yen aththa
Devi: Dei yenna marandhuttiya Samee ya koottittu ponum la
Aadhvik's face lost his smile instantly.
AK: Adhu nalla thoongura innum konja neram aagattumae
Devi: Nalla neram poidum da nee koottittu vaa naanga hall la erukkom
Devi and Brindha left from there. Aadhvik closed the door and went inside to wake Sameera.
Sameera lazily opened her eyes and smiling at Aadhvik. He insisted her to fresh up and gets ready. She too nodded and entered the washroom.
Aadhvik took her luggage and again checked her things. He took her medicines and placed it inside the bag.
Sameera came out from the washroom wiping her face with a towel. She noticed Aadhvik and side hugged him.
AK: Naan adikkadi unna paakka vandhuduvan time ku saapdu medicine eduthukko sariya
Samee: Hmmm (she blinked her tears and looks at him longingly)
Aadhvik cupped her cheeks and placed his lips on hers. The kiss was so gentle he treats her like a flower. Sameera wiped the tear from the corner of his eyes.
Aadhvik broke the kiss and rested his forehead with her's.
Samee: Neengalum time ku saapdunga don't stress yourself too much naanga seekram vandhuduvom
She holds his hand and placed it on her baby bump.
Samee: Kutty paiya appa ku bye sollunga namma paatti veettuku polam
The baby kicked her stomach making Aadhvik's heart flutter. He kissed her baby bump.
Aadhvik holds Sameera's hand and took the luggage. They both reached the living room. Sameera's parents was getting ready to leave from there.
Sameera bid bye to her in laws and moves towards the car. Aadhvik placed the luggage in the car and called Krishnakumar and Brindha.
Bri: Sollunga maapla
AK: Aththa avallukku oil konjam a add panni samachi kudunga aprm kaaram kammiya podunga haan mama ava night la dhan ice cream kaeppa konjam cooling kammiya aana aprm kudunga aprm .....
Krishnakumar and Brindha smiled looking at him. Ramkumar and Devi looked at eachother.
Devi: Dei podhum da
AK: Illa ma adhu
Devi: Aiyoo Sameera unakku pondatti aaguradhukku munnadiyae avangallukku ponnu adha marandhudadha
Everyone laughed looking at him. Krishnakumar held Aadhvik's hand.
KK: Kavala padaadhinga maapla naanga unga wife a bathrama paathukkurom
AK: Adhu mama adhu(he scratched his eyebrow)
Bri: Sari pa naanga kelamburom
They bid bye to them and left from there. Aadhvik looked the direction and sighed.
Sameera stayed with her parents in her home. They started taking good care of her. Aadhvik often visited her and stayed with her.
A month passed like this and Sameera felt a mild pain. Krishnakumar admitted her in the hospital and informed Aadhvik about this.
Devi and Ramkumar already reached the hospital and Aadhvik was yet to arrive.The doctor came out from her room.
KK: Doctor yen ponnu yepdi erukka?
Doc: Nothing to worry innum two hours la kozhandha porandhudum
Ram: Doctor yedhum complications illaila
Doc: Adhallam yedhum illa avangala konja neram walk panna vainga delivery ku helpful a erukkum (she left)
Devi: Vaa Brindha ulla polam
Brindha and Devi went inside and saw Sameera was moaning in pain.They helped her to get up from the bed.
Samee: Valikkidhu ma nadakka mudila (she said inbetween her tears)
Bri : Konjam try pannu da
Devi and Brindha holds her either side and Sameera took slow steps.
Samee: Aththa avaru yenga?
The door opened widely and Aadhvik entered inside.
AK: Sara
He quickly holds her shoulder and caressed her baby bump.
Devi: Avallukku konjam nadakka help pannu da
AK: Mm sari ma
Aadhvik holds Sameera and Brindha too held her hand and helped her to walk.
Devi left the room to bring some water. As minutes passed Sameera's pain starts increasing.
Samee: Aadhvikey romba valikkidhu (she cried clutched her stomach)
AK: Onnum illa ma sari aagidum (he said inbetween his tears)
Brindha left from there and called the doctor. The doctor arrives there and checked Sameera.
Doc: Labour pain start aagittu... nurse stretcher kondu vaanga
The nurse and other men came inside with a stretcher and made Sameera lay on it.
They took her to the labour ward and others were waiting outside. Ramkumar consoled Krishnakumar. Sameera's scream was getting louder making them panic.
Aadhvik's tears were uncontrollable he literally shivered hearing her every scream.Brindha noticed his state.
Bri: Maapla neenga vena doctor ta kaettutu ulla ponga
Devi: Aiyoo venam Brindha anga pona avallukku dhairiyam sollanum ivan avalayum padatta pada vachiduvan
Brindha saw Aadhvik who is biting his lips to control his sob. She nodded her head in understanding.
They heard a loud scream of Sameera and soon heard another scream. Aadhvik stood froze hearing his baby's first cry. Everybody shed happy tears and waited for the doctor.
The doctor opened the door and Aadhvik rushed to her.
AK: Doctor yen wife yepdi erukka?
Doc: She is fine
Aadhvik let out the breathe he was holding.
Ram: Doctor kozhandha?
Doc: Paiyan porandhurukkan rendu perum nalla erukkanga
Aadhvik chuckled in tears and thanked the doctor.
AK: Naanga paakkalama?
Doc : Konjam wait pannunga ward ku shift pannadhum paakkalam (she left)
After few minutes Sameera shifted to the ward and both their parents asked Aadhvik to go first.
Aadhvik entered the room and saw his wife. She looked exhausted and her face was pale. He saw his son beside her.
Aadhvik went near them and kissed Sameera's forehead. Sameera opened her eyes and smiled at him.
Samee: Naan sonnanla paathingala paiyan dhan
Aadhvik nodded and kissed her cheeks. He saw his son and carried him. The baby boy looked like a mini-version of Aadhvik.
Aadhvik kissed his forehead and the baby yawned exposing his dimple.
AK: Sara inga paaran ivanukkum dimple erukku
Samee: Adha mattum dhan paathingala inga paarunga (she removes the cloth from the baby's upper body and Aadhvik gasped looking at the mole on his son's chest and his neck)
AK: Hey ivan apdiyae yenna maadhiriyae erukkan ma
Samee: Ivlo naan ivan vaithula erukkumbodhu naan yevlo konjunan theriyuma ivan yennana apdiyae ungala maadhiri erukkan (she pouted)
Aadhvik chuckled and pecked her pout.
AK: Yen chellamae nee yeppodhum yen pathiyae dhaana yosichittu erundha adhan kozhandha yenna maadhiriyae porandhurukkan
Samee: Adhu yennamo unmadhan (she smiled)
AK: Sari surprise yennannu sollu yenna name choose panna ma?
Samee: Any guesses?
AK: Naan guess pandradhula romba weak ma neeyae sollidu please
Samee: Naan choose panna name "Saadhvik" yepdi nalla erukka
AK: Romba azhaga erukku name um unna maadhiriyae
Samee: Aeeiii chumma erunga
Ramkumar knocked the door and their parents entered there.
Devi: Yenda neeyum varuva varuva nu paaththa ingayae thangittiya
Aadhvik bit his tongue and smiled sheepishly.
KK: Yenga perana konjam kannula kaattunga maapla
AK: Aiyoo mama vaanga
Krishnakumar carried the baby and Brindha kissed Saadhvik.
Devi: Nee porandhappo yepdi erundhiyo apdiyae erukkan da un pullayum
AK: Peru kooda vachachi ma
Ram: Apdiya yenna peru da
AK: Saadhvik unga marumaga dhan choose panna
KK: Peru romba nalla erukku ma
The baby starts crying and Brindha gives him to Sameera.
Bri : Pasikkidhu pola nee feed pannu ma naanga velila erukkom
The elders left from there to give them privacy. Sameera carried him and starts feeding him. Aadhvik sat behind her and helped her to carry the baby.
After few minutes she finished feeding him and Aadhvik helped her to put him sleep. As soon as the baby slept Aadhvik carefully placed him on the cradle.
Aadhvik went near Sameera and took her in his embrace and kissed her forehead. Sameera smiled at him and kissed his cheeks.
Samee: I love you Aadhvikey
AK: I love you so much Sara
They noticed their new born child was sleeping peacefully inside the cradle. And they smiled looking at him contently.
