The car ride for Sukuna was kinda awkward
Nobara and he sat in the back seat of the car, facing each other's opposite. He could faintly hear her muffled cries, though her cries would never really bother him, but the reason she was crying bothered him to no ends
Because it involved his human
"Sukuna?"
His thoughts came to an end, when Nobara called him
He hummed in acknowledgment, kinda curious to know what the brat wanted to say
"You're.... You're so evil... You have so much hate in yourself, yet... You even fall in love with Kana sensei... How could they do that to her after all she did for them?"
She quietly asked
Sukuna heard her without saying anything. He let her finish and a heavy sigh left his lips
While looking outside the window
"That's why I don't think humans deserve to live, brat. They backstab the people who are actually good people... I won't say I'm in love with her, but I did take a liking to her"
Nobara actually snorted at his answer
"Yeah, right! I can assure you are in love with her. I've seen the way you look at her. Like she's a full course meal"
Sukuna lightly glared at her, thinking she might have lost her shit
She was chuckling though, her voice cracking from time to time, groggy from all the crying earlier
"But Sukuna... Don't be morons like them. If she does love you, I know she'll never let you feel anything other than love... Don't miss a chance you have it"
Now if it was another time, Sukuna would have killed her instantly for ordering him this, but her words made him weirdly calm
Like someone just flashed a bucket of cold water in his body, making him see a light he had never seen before
He finally looked at her. She was looking outside, her eyes were swollen and red from all the crying
"This human is crying for her as if she's the one in pain... Really, how could someone be so cruel to her?"
Sukuna thought to himself
"Sukuna-sama, young lady, we are here"
Sukuna sighed, realizing they didn't even notice they arrived
Nobara quickly got out, Sukuna following suit
They entered the house and one of the kakushis told Sukuna Kana was waiting for him in the dining table
They nodded, washed themselves to look presentable
They went to the table and sure enough, Kana was sitting there browsing through her phone with a dainty pout on her face
"Kanroji sensei?"
Kana's head snapped towards them, she looked surprised to see Nobara at first. But that surprise changed into concern pretty quickly when she saw how miserable the young girl looked
She instantly went to Mama mode
As she rushed to hug her, her eyes met with the man she was waiting for
She gently smiled at him, mouthing "sorry, give me a minute"
Sukuna just gave her a bored look
She hugged Nobara
"What happened to you, pretty-chan? Why did you cry?"
She asked in concern
Her voice was so soft, as if she was talking to a child. Hey imbrace held so much warmth, it felt like you can feel asleep
Nobara leaned into her more, closing her eyes and just enjoying the maternal warmth she had to offer. It was extremely comforting, just her presence
"Nothing happened -
"Now don't lie to me, young lady. Tell sensei what's wrong? Did someone say something to you? Tell me, Mama's gonna scold them for you"
A small smile came to her lips all day today
"No sensei... No one said anything to me... But I don't wanna stay there in jujutsu high!"
She childishly claimed
Kana didn't even question why. She didn't care. She had enough resources to take care of all the students in jujutsu high. And if needed she'll take every single one of them in
They were just that important to her
"Of course, dear. You don't need to go there if you don't want to. You can stay here as long as you want. You know what? Actually you don't need to go back at all. You can stay here for eternity "
She broke the hug, looking directly in her eyes. She gently cupped her cheeks
"I'll take care of you. Always, you don't need to worry. But I want you to know you can come to me with everything. Any problems you're facing. I'll be there with you. I just want you to know you're not alone "
Kugisaki was really trying not to burst out to tears again
"How? How can you be so loving when everyone treated you so badly in love?"
She thought, giving her teacher a shaky smile
"I don't want to talk about it"
Kana was really getting confused. This is the same answer Yuji gave her. It Was getting concerning now. What was happening to her babies
She quickly shook off her fears and smiled at the young girl
"Okay, did my baby pretty-chan have dinner?"
Nobara shook her head with a pout
"Sorry, I didn't get the time. And gosh, now that I think of it, I didn't even bring my clothes or self care products! What will happen now!?"
Kugisaki started to lightly panic as she grasped the situation
Kana giggled
"Don't worry, Hun . I'll take care of that. I'll give you some spare clothes. I will also give you new self care things, all you need. Now come, let's have dinner"
Nobara's smile brightened
"More new skin care products! Yay!"
She thought to herself as she went to wash her hands
Kana finally looked at the man she was waiting for so long. She quickly went to him and hugged him tightly
She heard him sigh but this time he did return the hug. Making her smile
"I missed you. You are so late"
"You're the one who left me for a mission, woman. You can't be blaming me now"
She pouted, raising her head to look at him
"I'm sorry.... I shouldn't have, Sukuna-sama... Please forgive me "
Before Sukuna could reply, they heard a giggle
Nobara stood there with an amused smirk on her face
"Ho~~ you don't love her, right king? Wanna change your answer?"
Sukuna glared at her but Kana just giggled with a blush on her face
Kana served the two of them first before eating herself. They talked and had fun. But Kana did notice something was off
The two were unusually silent, there was this weird tension in the room she couldn't put a finger on. But she didn't want to make them uncomfortable by bringing it up so she kept quiet
After dinner, she brought kugisaki some products and a night wear. Told one of the kakushis to bring her to her room. She beyed her goodbye before leaving for her room
Well, her and Sukuna's room
When she arrived, he was already there
Sukuna was a little surprised when she just walked in without knocking. She sat Infront of the dressing table and started to brush her hair, she was definitely absentminded
It was clear from how she was staring into space
"What are you doing here, woman?"
She looked back at him with a confused look
"Huh? I'm here to sleep"
He gave her a weird look
"Then go to your own room? It's not appropriate to sleep with a man"
She just giggled and shook her head
"Nope, you're not leaving me nor am I leaving the room. I'll sleep here no matter what you say?"
Sukuna creased his eyebrows in displeasure
"You're really shameless, woman!"
She just shrugged with a smile
"I don't care... I like your warmth. It feels good to know you're here... I just wanna spend more time with you"
Sukuna snorted
"Stop lying woman. I know you're just sleeping with me in the same room to make sure I don't go around and killing people. Just to keep me in check"
She looked at him with a look he couldn't really describe. Like she was really hurt
"That's not true... No one told me to do so. And I know you'll not do something like that. You gave a binding vow... I really don't understand why you're acting like this, I slept with you yesterday "
Although Sukuna did feel guilty and I bit stupid too, he didn't let her see that
"Yesterday you had your child. Now she's not here and it's really inappropriate to sleep with a man like this "
She nodded
"Yeah... Yuji-kun was really upset today. I didn't want him to be alone so I told my baby to accompany him tonight and stay with him"
Sukuna just sighed. It was a valid reason. The things he heard from the women, he was sure he was upset
Kana quickly did what she was doing and turned off the lights. She quietly crawled in bed with him
He faced opposite, trying not to look at her
But Kana was clingy, she just didn't want to feel alone. It was scary. She needed him
He felt her squirm uncomfortably, changing sides many time, he finally sighed, giving into her when he heard a soft whine come from her
He faced her and she instantly leeched herself on him, wrapping her arms around his torso, hiding her face on his neck. Sukuna sighed, gently hugging her back, his hands silently mapping the carve of her waist
He felt her shiver under his touch, nuzzling closer to him when his sharp nails brushed through her waist where her night top was lifted during the night
"Sukuna-sama..."
She called out, but it sounded more like a moan
He clenched his jaw. This was probably the most hard task he ever had to do
"Does this woman have no fear of me? How can she stay like this, let me touch her like this with out any discomfort"
He thought to himself. He was really holding himself back. He really was
"Sukuna-sama, what happened in the school after I left today? Why are both of the kids so upset"
"There are somethings you need to let them handle, kitten. This is one of those times, just let them be and try not to get in their business. Let them grow up a bit... You can't baby them always. It's not good for them"
She was quiet for a moment before sighing
"I guess you're right... You know, I never had someone in my time of need... I just don't want them to feel as alone as I felt... I don't want them to go through what I did"
She said, her voice gentle as a whisper
She lifted her fingers on his chest, gently gliding them to her liking
"Why are you so comfortable with me? Don't you fear I'll harm you?"
His question made her giggle
"Why would I be afraid of a person who loves me"
She looked up at his eyes. Her smile more contant this time
"I can tell by eyes, eyes don't lie. I can tell you fell in love with me when our eyes met... I know how it happened and everything... I can tell... I'm the love piller after all"
That was all the self control Sukuna had in himself, he couldn't deal with this anymore. He was a hot blooded male, and if she didn't understand the territory she was in, it's not his job anymore
In a blink of an eye, he was on top of her, grabbing her hands and interlocking his fingers with her. He firmly placed both of her hands on the sides on her head as his lips crashed on hers
His tongue shoved down her throat, making her almost choke... But it didn't look like she was panicking, she was calm and Sukuna could bet he was wasn't crazy, she was kissing him back
When he finally looked down, her cheeks were more flushed then usual, she looked flustered but still managed to maintain eye contact
"You sure are something else, woman... Were you waiting for this, huh? That's why you wanted to sleep in my bed?"
She just smiled at him
"No... I didn't expect this... But if my lord wants this... I'll do anything to gain your trust and to make you say you love me... That's all I've wanted from my life"
He chuckled, half in disbelief and half in intoxicating
"Well, let's see how much you can handle woman. Since you want my love so bad"
Her cheeks flushed deeper
"Your wish is my command... My king"
