I was getting a drink trying to escape the little kids in my group at summer camp as I turned around I almost chocked
"Brendan?"
He turned around
"Carrie? Carrie Marston?!"
He said
"Yes Brendan Greco?!"
"Yes!"
It's been a year since I saw him he moved away. High school was different without him, all the boys wanted to date me (well only 3) but I said no I never found love again,
"What are you doing here?" I asked
"My aunt works here and she's wanted me to help" he said
"Oh cool" I said
"Yeah" he said
It was awkward between us, we were just looking into each other's eyes, when the kids came
"Come on!" Said one
"Let's go to the park!" Said another
"I'll see you later!" I said as the kids were pulling me
"Yeah meet me here!" He said.
And I gave him a thumbs up.
