Hello all and welcome to the first edition of the Lighthouse Awards 2024!
Yes, this is my first time hosting an awards book, so forgive me if I stuff up some parts, but I promise you all I am doing the best I can. I have entered a lot of competitions myself, so I am kind of basing it off them.
There will be many different categories in these awards and I'll try to be as inclusive as possible, so please leave a message here if you want me to add in a category that I maybe haven't added in yet. But please keep in mind, there must be at least a minimum of two or three books in each category for a winner, and there also must be a judge. On top of that, if you are the only one in your category, I myself may be able to read your book and offer advice on writing style and technique and all of that, but you will be unable to receive any prizes as it is a one person race.
Anyway, buckle yourself in for hopefully what won't be a bumpy ride and may you all enjoy yourselves!
