SALEM walks into the grerat hall and goes to the slytherin table to see her friends and brother aren't there, which is weird considering they were all up including her boyfriend. they posted on insta 20 minutes ago so..? she waits for them thinking maybe they were running late so she decides to text them,

didn't wanna hang out anyways, not like it's my birthday or anything.
SALEM sighs and gets up swallowing the lump in her throat and she holds back her tears, but they all of a sudde start pouring out. she runs to the boys dorms and knocks on her brothers door hoping he'll talk to her. he opens the door and sees her crying and sighs the slams the door on her face, she jumps a little and walks away and goes to her dorm and goes into her bed and cries.

she came to my dorm earlier crying and i slammed the door on her, all i wanted is to hug her and tell her this stupid plan you guys came up with

i just sent the letter, she should be getting ready now.
SALEM sees an owl coming to her window and then knocking into it, she giggles a little and opens the window and takes the letter and the owl nuzzles her hand softly and affectionately, she smiles and it flies away. she opens the letter that says;
dear salem,
we ask you to meet us at the slytherin common room at 9pm or your friends will be in danger. we hope to see you then,

SALEM sighs and gets ready, she puts on mascara and does some eyeliner, then puts on her tight cropped sweater and some baggy jeans and converse. then grabs her wand and leaves her dorm and walks to the slytherin common room, she checks the time seeing it was 8:59 PM. she sighs and walks in and has her wand in her hand ready to fight, all of a sudden pansy, theo, mattheo, blaise, enzo, macie and draco pop up and other people do too and they all shout "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" salem jumps a little and sighs in relief. "i thought you guys didn't care about my birthday anymore." she says looking at the ground and mattheo walked over to her and put his hand on her chin forcing her to look up at him, then put his hands on her waist and kissed her "we all wanted to suprise you but then noticed it was going too far," he says, "im sorry love," he adds. she nods and hugs him then walks over to the friendgroup and hugs them, "i hate you all" she says sarcasticly and they all laugh including her,
an hour in everyone was having fun, partying and dancing. salem had left to change and finally came back,

SALEM walks into the party and goes and gets a drink. then walks over to macie and pansy and they hug her "you look so pretty sal." macie says smiling softly, salem smiles back "thank you macie." salem says smiling back. pansy hugs salem "gorg birthday girl!" she says and salem giggles then feels hands on her waist and freezes and macie chuckles, "it's just mattheo don't worry." she says softly and salem sighs with relief and turns around and faces him, the girls walk off giving them some space. "hi love," he says looking down at her, "hi mattheo," she says, "wanna dance?" he offers his hand and she places it in his, they walk to where everyone was dancing and they danced together for awhile, mattheo kisses salem and she kisses him back. they make out for a few minutes at least then theo and pansy come and steal her, they go over to the bar and macie comes out with a beautiful green and black cake with a snake on it, salem smiles and everyone starts singing happy birthday to her then she blows out the candles and smiles.
after the party macie and pansy go back to salem's dorm and decide to have a girls night. the girls fall asleep and salem lays there staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep.

SALEM waits a few minutes and then hears a knock on her door and opens it then smiles and kisses MATTHEO then he walks in and takes his shoes off, he was wearing a black tight shirt and pajama pants, he grabbed her and threw her on his shoulder and she giggled quietly, trying not to wake up macie and pansy, then he put her on the bed and got in bed with her, he put her blanket over her and got under his own blanket that he leaves here for when he spends the night since she never likes sharing her blanket. she lays her head on his chest and they both fall asleep.
