DREAMS ARE A FUNNY THING. To some they are filled with happy memories of the past and desires for the future. But to others they are nightmares, filled with fear and despair.

Normally Marjorie is able to somewhat understand her dreams. Ever since Genevieve spelled her into her deep sleep, Marjorie had suffered from terrible nightmares.

Some were bad enough to have her jolting awake, screaming and panting until her father rushed into the room and comforted her. Others would cause her to jolt awake with a small gasp, leaving her to lay awake for the rest of the night.

But this most recent dream was something Marjorie was unable to decipher. In the dream she watched herself run in a field of flowers, Killian chasing after her as they laughed in glee. But then, Marjorie would feel herself collide with something and arms would wrap around her upper arms tightly.

When she looked up cold eyes stared back at her before a hand plunged through her chest making her gasp.

Then she wakes up.

As she got ready for Father Kieran's wake, she couldn't get her mind off the dream. It felt so real, and something about the man who grabbed her was familiar. But she couldn't put her finger on it.

A knock on the door interrupted Marjorie as she was curling her hair with her curling iron, knocking her out of her thoughts.

"Come in." Marjorie called and Killian pushed the door open

He was dressed in a black suit, which she was sure he'd borrowed from Elijah who had enjoyed giving Killian advice on how to dress like a "proper gentleman". While Klaus would roll his eyes and tell his brother not to make Killian into a bore like he was.

Marjorie was just happy that it seemed like they were including Killian, like they were finally accepting him.

"Hey, Elijah had me come to see if you were almost ready. Your dad left already to talk to Cami before, and Hayley is going to meet us there." Killian said leaning against the counter as he watched Marjorie focus on curling her hair

The wake was being held at Rousseau's, apparently it's customary for an Irish wake to turn into a full blown party, and while some may not agree with having a party Marjorie thinks it's nice.

She would rather people have a good time and share fond memories of her at her own wake someday, than cry and be all depressing.

"Yeah, just about. Is all my hair curled in the back?" Marjorie asked turning around so Killian could look

"Yeah, I think so." Killian nodded and Marjorie unplugged the curling iron, satisfied with his response. "You look very beautiful."

Marjorie blushed and looked down with a smile, she couldn't ignore the butterflies in her stomach caused by not only his words but the way he was looking at her.

"Thank you. You look very handsome, Uncle Elijah must be very proud." Marjorie teased

"Oh yes indeed, he told me the next thing he wants to do is teach me how to tie a proper bow tie. Lord help me." Killian huffed and Marjorie couldn't help but laugh

"I'm not surprised. He'll have you turned into a posh gentleman in no time." Marjorie smiled and Killian rolled his eyes

"Well then, I might as well practice." Killian cleared his throat before dramatically bowing and holding his hand out to the girl in front of him. "Shall I have the honor of escorting mi lady to the wake?"

Marjorie giggled at his posh tone before accepting his hand and curtsying.

"Why of course." Marjorie over exaggerated an English accent making Killian chuckle. "Very good, your accent needs some work though."

"If mine needs work then so does yours." Killian scoffed in mock offense

Marjorie just shook her head fondly before pulling him out of her bathroom and into her room where her dress was laid out on her bed.

"We'll finish our debate about the accents later, even though it's obvious mine was better." Marjorie teased and Killian rolled his eyes. "Go on down and I'll be there in a minute."

"Alright, alright. But this isn't over!" Killian narrowed his eyes playfully before leaving the room

Quickly, she got dressed before making sure she looked presentable enough. She had never been to a wake before, or any kind of a funeral/vistation/ whatever else people have when someone dies.

Growing up she was never around one family long enough to have to worry about anyone dying, and if they did Marjorie never heard of it.

Satisfied with her appearance, Marjorie smoothed down her hair before leaving her room and meeting Elijah and Killian downstairs.

"Ready to go?" Marjorie asked as she stepped down the last stair

Killian immediately smiled when he took in her appearance, he couldn't deny how beautiful she looked. Too bad they were going to a wake and not on a date, because then it would be more appropriate for him to drool over her.

"Yes, we should probably be going. You look lovely, sweetheart." Elijah kissed her on the forehead

"Thanks Uncle Lijah." Marjorie smiled before looking over at Killian who gave her a wink

As they left Marjorie linked arms with Killian out of habit, not even realizing she did it but Killian couldn't help but grin and use his arm to pull her more into his side as they walked.

●・○・●・○・●

Walking into Rousseau's, Marjorie was slightly shocked with how many people were inside. The entire bar was filled with those mourning the loss of a pillar of their community, Marjorie spotted Cami but chose not to approach her since she was busy talking to a few other people.

Killian nudged her gently and nodded over towards the large booth Klaus was sitting at, the three walked over and slid in next to him. Marjorie in between Klaus and Killian with Elijah sitting across from them.

Immediately drinks were sat in front of them making Marjorie furrow her brows since they hadn't ordered anything. But being a Mikaelson has its perk's, and no one wants to risk having an impatient Mikaelson on their hands.

Killian immediately picked up his glass and knocked his drink back, needing the harsh burn of the whiskey as it flowed down his throat, after losing Eve and watching as his home was destroyed in front of him he needed a stiff drink.

Klaus noticed the way Marjorie eyed the drink in front of her and quickly swiped it away before she could grab it.

"No ma'am." Klaus scolded

"I'll be 18 next week." Marjorie pouted and Klaus raised his brow

"It's still not 21." Klaus shot back making Marjorie sigh, Klaus looked away from her not wanting to see her puppy dog eyes and instead focused on the people around them. "Seems rather uncivilized to laugh and dance around the body of a loved one."

"Yes, far better to practice your process of grief, Niklaus-- denial, rage, and hoarding coffins in basements." Elijah commented making Marjorie cough as she tried to hide her laugh

Klaus didn't respond but instead just decided to glare at his brother and flick the back of Marjorie's ear making her wince, while Killian grinned in amusement pouring him another drink from the bottle that was left behind.

Marjorie waved at Hayley as she approached them, looking very pregnant. Hayley returned the sentiment and slid into the booth next to Elijah.

"I will warn you, Hayley, Niklaus is in a spectacularly foul mood today." Elijah looked over at the girl

"Sod off." Klaus snipped

"Oh no, you've got it wrong Elijah. He's a ray of sunshine." Killian added making Klaus roll his eyes

"If you like living in my house, I'd suggest you stop teasing me." Klaus huffed towards Killian who raised his hand in surrender

"Don't listen to him. He's just grumpy." Marjorie whispered in Killian's ear making him chuckle

"Look, what's the deal with these moonlight rings? Oliver's trying to set a revolution every five seconds. People are scared, angry, and frankly, I'm tired of stalling." Hayley told Klaus, the woman looking completely fed up with the situation

"It's a day of peace, Hayley. Try and enjoy it. And, in the meantime, with all manner of unknown enemies conspiring against our family, you'll move back in with us. I know Marjorie is safe, I'd like to make sure my second child is too." Klaus said, he wouldn't admit it if he was asked but he was glad Killian was living with them.

That way he didn't have to worry about Marjorie trying to sneak out and save him now all he needed was for Hayley to move back in and he wouldn't have to worry about Marjorie sneaking out to save her too.

"Awesome! Then, we can do that thing where you lock me in the tower, I escape, there's drama, and then you two both realize I'm very capable of looking after myself." Hayley smiled sarcastically

"The rings are in progress. I will live up to my word. We will find and punish whoever launched the attack on the Bayou, and you will return to the compound for your own safety!" Klaus demanded in frustration, and Hayley sighs rolling her eyes. "But, right now I'm gonna finish this bottle and the next, in the hopes of drowning the demon who has chosen today to haunt me." He looks up at the ceiling before chugging right from the bottle. "Cheers, Mikael. Impeccable, Freudian timing."

Marjorie furrowed her brows, during her whole time with her family the only time Mikael was mentioned was when Elijah had first told her their story or when Klaus was worried that he would be compared to him as a father.

"Elaborate." Elijah sat up straight stunned

The remaining three at the table exchanged a concerned look for the brothers, both of them seemingly stressed about Klaus' mention of their father.

"Have you dreamt of our father?" Elijah asked

"Go ahead, have a good laugh." Klaus scoffed, knocking back his drink

"I can assure you there is no piece of this that I find even remotely amusing, Niklaus. Especially considering I've been dreaming of him, too." Elijah stressed making Klaus freeze

"What?" Klaus frowned

Marjorie lifted her head and turned to look between her dad and uncle as a thought popped into her head.

"By any chance did you guys have that dream last night?" Marjorie asked making everyone look at her

"Why?" Klaus asked but Marjorie ignored his question and turned to look at Elijah

"When you showed Hayley and I your story as humans and we saw Mikael, did he by any chance have blue eyes?" Marjorie thought back to her dream from last night, all she saw of the person was their cold eyes looking back at her

Their cold blue eyes before they ripped her heart out.

"He did." Elijah nodded confused

"I uh, I think I dreamt about him too." Marjorie revealed before gulping. "And in the dream he ripped by heart out of my chest."

The tension was thick enough that even the sharpest knife wouldn't cut through it. Both Elijah and Klaus felt horrified by Marjorie's admission, sure they had enough reasons to dream of their deceased monster of a father. But Marjorie had never met him before, so why would she dream something so awful?

Hayley and Killian both exchanged a look, something was extremely wrong if all three of the Mikaelson's in front of them were dreaming of the same person.

"What?" Klaus clenched his jaw in anger, the idea of Mikael lying a hand on his little girl was enough to make him burst

"If the both of you are also seeing him. Perhaps our elusive, unknown enemy is orchestrating a further attack?" Elijah brainstormed and Marjorie followed his gaze to see Genevieve who had just entered the bar

"Well, then. What better way to punctuate a day of peace than by killing someone?" Klaus hummed as the entire table glared over in the witches direction

"If she lays one hand on you, I swear to God I'll rip her to pieces." Killian told Marjorie who squeezed his hand

Unaware of the looks shared between Hayley, Elijah, and Klaus at Killian's words. If they hadn't known before they know now, Killian would do whatever it takes to protect Marjorie.

Whatever it takes.

●・○・●・○・●

Marjorie had begged Killian to keep an eye on Hayley, she knew that she had gotten information from Marcel about the man who bombed the bayou having debt at the nightclub owned by Francesca Correa.

Which means that there is a good chance Francesca could've given the man a way to get rid of his debt, by having him bomb the bayou. And knowing Hayley, she would 100% confront the woman and with her being closer and closer to her due date Marjorie didn't want to take any chances.

So while Killian was with Hayley making sure she didn't kill Francesca just yet and Elijah was upstairs in the compound with Klaus and unfortunately Genevieve trying to figure out their Mikael problem. Marjorie was outside on her balcony sketching to pass the time, before they had to go back to Kieran's Funeral Procession.

Sketching hadn't been something she had much experience with, having preferred to paint. There was just something about the way the brush glides across the canvas spreading the paint into whatever picture your mind can imagine.

But sometimes it can be a hassle, trying to get all the brushes cleaned and the paint put away. There's also the waiting for it to dry before doing anything with it.

So sketching is definitely easier and less time consuming, which is what Marjorie needed in this moment.

She wasn't really sure what she set out to draw but when she looked down at the sketch pad she couldn't help but smile.

There on the sketch pad was Killian's face, she had unintentionally drawn him and how she saw him. His sharp chiseled jawline, sparkling eyes, plump lips, and short wavy hair. In her eyes he was the most handsome man on the planet, and despite her soulmate bond she knows she would feel the same either way.

A text chime made Marjorie sit her sketch pad down and pick up her phone, seeing that it was Killian who texted her saying that he had accompanied Hayley to Francesca's mansion and that everything was fine. They were both fine and Francesca basically admitted to being the one to order the bombing, and he was lucky to keep Hayley from snapping and killing the woman on the spot.

Marjorie sighed, glad that Killian had gone with her knowing how bad Hayley's temper had been since she reached the latest stage in her pregnancy. There was definitely a large possibility that either Hayley or Francesca one would've been killed by the other had he not been there.

"Marjorie! We're leaving!" Klaus yelled from somewhere in the house making the girl chuckle

"It's not the Middle Ages anymore! We have something called a cellphone!" Marjorie yelled back before standing up from her chair

What she didn't know was that Monique stood under her balcony out of sight, when she saw Marjorie had her back turned to her she quickly muttered a spell.

"Purger l'interieur, entiendre la lumiere--" Monique stabs the poppet representing Marjorie with a pin. "-- dans cette f–."

Marjorie stopped in her tracks as she felt a wave come over her, she couldn't explain how she felt. She just felt something weird.

"Marjorie!" The sound of Klaus shouting her name again made her snap out of her daze

Deciding to shake the feeling off Marjorie walked back into her room, closing the balcony door. A shiver creeped up her spine and Marjorie grabbed a black jacket from her closet and quickly threw it on before leaving.

The streets were filled with hundreds of people who came out to honor Father Kieran. The Mikaelson's, Hayley and Killian walked along with everyone else in the funeral procession. Marjorie doesn't know what happened between the time of her leaving the compound to reaching the church but she feels like utter crap.

Her head feels like it is about to explode because of the raging migraine she has, her skin is flushed and hot to the touch but inside she feels like she's freezing. And her chest hurts because of the coughing fits she had been having.

Killian looked over at her each time he heard a cough escape her lips. The concern in his eyes only growing when he noticed her sluggishness and glassy eyes.

"Are you ok? You look-" Killian started

"Like I'm about to either fall over dead or cough out a lung?" Marjorie interrupted him

"I was going to say you look beautiful as always. But uh, yeah you look like walking death." Killian grinned making Marjorie nudge his shoulder

"Do you think I was the target of those bombings?" Hayley asked as she caught sight of Francesca who was walking a head of them, pretending to wipe the fake tears off her cheeks

"Well." Killian grimaced making Hayley shoot him a look

"Of course you were the target! Were I to wage a war on the wolves, you'd be my first kill! I would string you up, for all your worshipers to see." Klaus answered honestly ignoring the way Hayley glared at him

"Hey, you asked." Marjorie coughed into her sleeve before rubbing her chest to sooth the tightness

"Well I wasn't expecting him to be so brutally honest." Hayley countered, sending Marjorie a concerned look when she saw just how sick she really looked

"I believe that was my brother's way of telling you he'd like you to return home with us." Elijah told Hayley before turning to Klaus. "Perhaps try a different approach, Niklaus, with fewer references to murder?"

"As much as I would hate to throw you over my shoulder, and drag you kicking and screaming to the compound, we both know I will for the sake of my child. Right Marjorie?" Klaus turned to his daughter who knew he wasn't kidding

"Uh yeah. He totally will and it will only be embarrassing for you and everyone who has to witness it." Marjorie responded

"One bad dream, and suddenly, you want to be a responsible daddy!" Hayley scoffed making Marjorie sigh

She knows Hayley isn't her father's biggest fan, but does she truly think that everything he's done hadn't been to keep the baby and Marjorie herself safe?

It frustrates her that no matter what he does, Hayley still sees him as the bad guy. And if she didn't feel like she could pass out at any second, she would speak up and say something.

"Let me put this into perspective." Klaus wrapped his arm around Hayley's shoulders. "My father lived to torment me. It is not my intention to become him. This cycle of misery ends with my children."

"Mmm." Hayley yanks his arm away from her with a fake smile. "You forgot one thing in your little attempt to plead your case-- she's not your child. She's ours. And although Marjorie isn't my own daughter, I love her like she is. You're not the only parent here."

Hayley walked away from them, sending Marjorie a small smile as she went.

"Very heartfelt, Niklaus." Elijah commented sarcastically

"I bloody hate funerals." Klaus snapped

"It would be weird if you didn't." Killian furrowed his brows

Marjorie shook her head at the three of them before moving to follow after Hayley who was now walking with Cami, the girl hadn't been able to give Cami her respects yet and figured there was no time like the present.

"Where are you going?" Klaus asked his daughter, feeling uneasy about her walking away from them with how unsteady she looked

"To talk to Cami. I'll be back." Marjorie said not giving him the chance to answer before she walked away

Marjorie walked through the crowd before she reached Cami's side, Hayley had stepped off to the side and looked to be on the phone probably with Jackson.

"Cami. Hi." Marjorie smiled empathetically as Cami looked over at her

"Oh, hey Marjorie. Thank you for coming." Cami nodded trying to give her a smile that looked more like a grimace

"Of course. I'm sure you've heard a million sorry's today but I don't really know what else to say, so I'm really sorry about everything you're going through." Marjorie said before coughing into her sleeve again

"I have heard it a million times, but it still helps. Thank you." Cami replied and Marjorie nodded

"If you need anything please let me know." Marjorie offered and Cami nodded squeezing her arm before walking over to a few people who had waved at her

Intending to rejoin her family, Marjorie stepped over to the side but stumbled as her vision suddenly went blurry. Her ears started ringing, the sounds around she sounding echoey like she was under water.

Marjorie coughed violently into her hand and when she pulled it away from her mouth she saw blood. She stumbled into a lamppost and practically had to use it to hold herself up as she continued to cough, shaking her entire body.

Killian snapped his head up, a shiver going down his spine, a sinking feeling in his gut. His eyes searched the crowd for Marjorie before they widened when he saw her slumped against the lamppost, looking much paler than before with blood coating her lips.

"Marjorie!" Killian exclaimed as he pushed through the crowd rushing towards her

Elijah, Klaus, and Hayley all turned hearing Killian's panicked voice and watched as Marjorie collapsed straight into Killian's arms.

Marjorie blinked lazily up at Killian who cradled her small frame in his arms, she could see his lips moving but the ringing in her ears kept her from being able to understand what was being said.

"Hey, hey! Stay with me, keep those pretty eyes on me." Killian panicked as he held her tightly against his chest

"What happened?!" Klaus demanded as he rushed up to them

"She just fainted, she looks really bad Klaus. Somethings seriously wrong." Killian stuttered before his eyes widened when he noticed Marjorie's eyes slipped closed

"We need to get her to the compound, quickly!" Elijah commanded and despite not wanting to let go of her, Killian allowed Klaus to pull Marjorie into his arms knowing he could get her back home quicker

As the five of them quickly hurried back towards the compound they were unaware of Genevieve quickly following them.

Elijah and Killian rushed ahead and slammed the doors open for Klaus to carry Marjorie inside the compound with Hayley following quickly behind them.

Klaus gently say Marjorie down on the large table in the middle of the room, Hayley grabbed a pillow from the couch and gently slid it under Marjorie's head.

Killian had his hands on his head as he paced in front of the table, not being able to take his eyes off the unconscious girl in front of him. His unconscious soulmate.

"I can help-" Genevieve spoke as she came into the room

Before anyone could react Killian had his hand wrapped around her throat and slammed Genevieve into the wall making everyone jump.

"You won't touch her!" Killian snarled while Genevieve gasped for breath

"Killian! Killian she can help!" Klaus explained as he pulled Killian away from the witch Elijah quickly moving to stand between them while Hayley stayed by Marjorie stroking her hair

"She's probably the reason Marjorie's in this position in the first place!" Killian roared shoving Klaus off him

"She's a nurse, she can help." Klaus assured Killian grabbing him by the shoulders

"If she tries to hurt her she will die. I give you my word, Killian." Elijah promised Killian who clenched his jaw but nodded

"If you're going to help then help! If not, get the hell out!" Hayley snapped at Genevieve who was rubbing her throat

"I can help. There's a spell that I can do. Klaus, get chamomile from the pantry." Genevieve looks at Marjorie, who is getting paler by the minute and shaking. "She's trembling. Your jacket, Elijah."

Elijah didn't hesitate to strip off his jacket and gently lay it over his niece, tucking the edges under her to try to warm her up.

Killian moved to her side and grabbed her hand, his fingers instinctively moving to her pulse point before his heart dropped.

"She doesn't have a pulse!" Killian panicked and Elijah moved forward looking at her chest

"I can't hear a heart beat." Elijah gulped

"Fuck this." Killian shook his head before leaning forward and placing his hands over her chest, starting CPR

Marjorie gasped as she jolted awake, looking around she saw that she was in the compound lying on a table but there was no one else there.

"Dad! Uncle Elijah! Killian! Hayley!" Marjorie exclaimed as she pushed herself off the table

"No one is here." A voice spoke from behind her making Marjorie gasp and spin around

Her heart dropped as she saw who was standing in front of her. Mikael Mikaelson, he stepped forward making Marjorie stumble back away from him.

"Mikael." Marjorie gulped

"Hello, granddaughter." Mikael smirked

Klaus returned with the chamomile and almost fainted when he saw Killian desperately performing CPR on Marjorie.

"No." Klaus whispered

Hearing him return, Genevieve snapped her head towards him and grabbed the tea from his hands getting to work on preparing it for her spell.

"Hayley I need some water." Genevieve ordered

Choosing not to argue, Hayley rushed into the kitchen to retrieve the water.

Killian felt his arms start to shake as he continued pushing against Marjorie's chest, sweat beading on his forehead. But no matter how tired he was, he wouldn't stop. Not until she was breathing again.

"Switch with me. Now." Elijah ordered Killian, seeing that he was starting to slow down

"I'm fine." Killian argued but Elijah placed his hand on his shoulder

"You're slowing down, your arms are shaking. Let me step in." Elijah said

Killian wanted to resist but at that moment all that matter was giving Marjorie the best chance, so he stepped back and Elijah quickly took his place. Killian standing at her feet with his hands gripping her ankles.

Hayley rushes over to Genevieve with the water, the witch pouring the water over the bundle of chamomile before tying it tightly. Genevieve moved over to Marjorie and stood at her head.

"Stop for a minute, I need her still." Genevieve ordered and Elijah reluctantly obeyed

Genevieve presses damp bundle of chamomile against Marjorie's forehead and chants a spell, under the intense supervision of the teenagers loved ones.

"Coeur blessé, battre avec mwen. Coeur blessé, battre avec mwen." Genevieve chanted with her eyes closed

Klaus, frustrated and scared that he was going to lose his daughter, bites into his wrist and dribbles his blood in into Marjories mouth in hopes that it will heal her.

"Come on! Come on, little pearl." Klaus pleaded before looking at Elijah who was still stood by her side

"She's still not breathing. It's not working!" Elijah snapped as he angrily throws a table against the brick wall, shattering it into pieces

"Please. Please." Hayley mumbled under her breath bowing as she stood next to Killian who squeezed her ankles tightly

Marjorie clenched her fists as Mikael approached her, every fiber of her being was petrified of the man in front of her. After hearing about everything that he did to her dad and the rest of her family, how could she not be?

"My, my, you look just like him." Mikael clicked his tongue

"Stay away from me." Marjorie warned and Mikael chuckled

"I assume my reputation precedes me. I can practically hear your heart about to beat out of your chest." Mikael nodded towards her chest

"If by reputation you mean, how you were a terrible father who hunted your children for a thousand years then yes. You are just as terrible of a person as I imagined." Marjorie boldly replied

"You have fire. I'm sure you get that from your Aunt." Mikael said speaking about Rebekah making Marjorie clench her jaw

"And my father." Marjorie stated and watched as Mikael's face hardened

"Your father. Yes, your father. Do you want to know where we are?" Mikael suddenly sped forward and grabbed Marjorie into a headlock making her scream in fright. "We're in my hell. Stuck in an eternity of watching over that hideous creature my children call brother! That you call a father!"

"No, don't talk about my dad! You're dead! How can I be here?" Marjorie struggled in his grasp

"I'll give you one guess." Mikael whispered in her ear making Marjorie's heart drop

She was dead.

"No. No! I'm not dead! I'm not! I can't be! I have my dad, and Killian, and Uncle Elijah, Auntie Bex, Hayley, and the baby!" Marjorie listed off as she fought in his hold

"The baby? That baby is damned, just like you are. That's what happens when you're the offspring of that bastard! Your mother and Klaus created a monster, another abomination when they had you! The deathless vermin, fancying himself a daddy?" Mikael laughed as he degraded Marjorie and Klaus both

"No! Shut up!" Marjorie screamed as she threw her head back against Mikael's face hearing the satisfied crack of his nose as it collided with the back of her head

Marjorie spun around and kicked Mikael in the leg, knocking him to the ground. Spotting a coat rack, Marjorie sprinted forward and grabbed it before swinging it at Mikael's head as hard as she could.

"I'm not dead! If I were dead you wouldn't be torturing me. You wouldn't be trying to kill me!" Marjorie exclaimed

Elijah is pacing back and forth at Marjorie's bedside with Hayley trying to calm him down. Killian and Klaus are both on either side of Marjorie, each holding one of her hands while Genevieve continued to work on her spell.

"I'm taking her to a real doctor." Elijah moved to pick Marjorie up, tired of waiting

"If you move her from here, my spell will break. There won't be enough time to get her to a hospital." Genevieve warned and Killian scoffed

"Yeah? Well your spell doesn't seem to be doing shit, and she's running out of time!" Killian backed Elijah up

Genevieve hadn't allowed them to perform CPR since she started the spell because she claimed she needed Marjorie completely still. Which means that she hasn't been breathing for minutes.

"I don't care what we have to do, I won't lose her! I won't lose my daughter!" Klaus exclaimed frantically

"Just give the spell a chance to work, we don't have another choice!" Hayley snapped as she dabbed a wet cloth on Marjorie's cheeks

"Battre avec mwen. Coeur blessé, battre avec mwen." Genevieve muttered before gasping as she eyes shot open. "I know what to do. Get my bag, the gris-gris pouch! Now!"

Killian rushed over to get the pouch before practically throwing it at Genevieve to get her to move faster.

Hayley continued dabbing the cold cloth on Marjorie's flushed cheeks while Klaus and Elijah anxiously watched over her.

"You're dead! My dad, your son already beat you!" Marjorie taunted as she backed away from Mikael

"He is not my son! He's a scourge, a walking symbol of weakness!" Mikael bellowed before pointing towards her. "Just as you are! Just as that baby will be!"

"You're wrong! You're the weak one, you let your hate make you weak! It made you careless and that's how my dad was able to kill you, he knew that and he outsmarted you!" Marjorie exclaimed making Mikael snarl before speeding forward and shoving Marjorie across the room

Her body collided with the stairs making her cough at the impact before grabbing the broken pice of the banister, holding it out in front of her threateningly as a weapon.

"I am not weak! I am Mikael the destroyer! My children quake with fear at my name and so will you!" Mikael stalked towards her menacingly

"That's not something to be proud of, that your children despise you. At least my father knows I love him, that's more than you could ever say." Marjorie fired back

For every step Mikael took towards her, Marjorie took an extra step back up the stairs. Trying to put as much distance between them as possible.

"That love you talk about, will be what destroys you! Klaus destroys everything he touches, might as well put you out of your misery now. Then when I'm done with you, I'll go after that baby in the wolf girls womb!" Mikael jumps up onto the second floor balcony making Marjorie spin around to face him

"No!" Marjorie snarled as she tried to reach forward and stab Mikael with the stake but he grabbed her arm and twisted it making her bone snap

Marjorie screamed as she clutched her arm in pain before gasping as Mikael grabbing her by the neck, beginning to choke her.

"Is that all you got?" Mikael snarled

"No." Marjorie mumbled before pushing her hands against Mikael's chest, using her magic to send him flying backwards

She had no idea if her magic would actually work, where ever she was, but figured it was worth a shot not wanting Mikael to have the satisfaction of killing her.

Marjorie ran forward and grabbed the stake that was once discarded on the ground, before jumping ontop of Mikael who was still down on the floor. Using all her strength Marjorie brought the stake down, stabbing it into his chest making Mikael roar in pain.

"This is all I got." Marjorie snarled looking down at him. "My father is nothing like you, he's 10 times better. You are nothing compared to him."

The world around her went blurry before Mikael's body disappeared out from under her, Marjorie could hear voices. People yelling her name. Pleading for her to wake up, before the world around her went dark.

Marjorie awakes with a loud gasp on the table, her eyes wide and as she frantically looks around. Blood staining her mouth and neck.

Klaus immediately pulled her into his arms while Elijah and Hayley sighed in relief and Killian closed his eyes leaning his forehead against his hands as he tried to get his breathing under control.

He had really thought that they were going to lose her. That he was going to lose her before he really got to know her, to be with her.

"You're ok. You're ok." Klaus soothed taking a shaky breath

Marjorie felt a tear escape her eye, remembering everything she had just been through with Mikael. Her adrenaline wearing off, allowing her to feel the fear she had in full force.

"I thought I was going to die." Marjorie breathed heavily

Killian grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly at her words.

"You're here with us. You're alive." Killian assured her and Marjorie nodded, allowing him to wipe underneath her eye

"What happened, sweetheart? What did you see?" Elijah asked, noticing the haunted look in her watery eyes

Marjorie looked up at her uncle and gulped before nuzzling deeper into her father's chest, squeezing Killian's hand tighter.

"It was Mikael. I saw him and he tried to kill me." Marjorie revealed

Klaus and Elijah shared an appalled look, the last thing they ever wanted was for Marjorie to ever have to think about Mikael. They never wanted her to have to fear him like they did.

"Let's get you cleaned up." Hayley told Marjorie who nodded allowing the woman to help her stand up

Marjorie took notice of Genevieve who stood in the corner packing up her things and paused.

"What is she doing here?" Marjorie clenched her jaw

"I only came to help Marjorie, that's all." Genevieve said and Marjorie scoffed

"That's all? Are you sure you didn't place some hex on me or is there any favor you thought you could ask after supposedly helping me?" Marjorie narrowed her eyes, not able to believe that Genevieve would help her out of the kindness of her heart

"I wanted to help. That was all and I don't expect anything in return. I'm glad you're awake." Genevieve swallowed as she grabbed her bag

"Good, you won't get anything in return. Don't forget, the last time she was unconscious it was your doing. Helping her now doesn't change that." Killian glared making Genevieve nod before quickly leaving

"Come on, Mar." Hayley gently guided her towards the stairs so she could help her get cleaned up

Killian watched as she left before turning back to Klaus and Elijah who were both too quiet for his liking.

"The witches are behind this, they tried to kill her. Again! We need to do something." Killian paced making Elijah sigh

"I agree with you, but we have to act smart. We cannot simply wage a war against them, that will only end in more bloodshed." Elijah said, not wanting to put Marjorie in any more danger than she already is in

Klaus rubbed his forehead in frustration, every part of him wanted to storm into Lafayette Cemetery and slaughter every single witch until there are none left.

After seeing his daughter lying unmoving and not breathing on that table today, he realized that out of everything he's faced and everything he's come to fear. Losing his daughter was at the top of the list.

He wanted to make sure she was safe and that the baby would be safe when she was born, their safety was the only thing in the world that he cared about.

"We will take care of them. Because I will not lose my daughter, I won't lose either of them." Klaus told the two before walking upstairs

Killian and Elijah both shared a look before they parted ways. Killian decided to go back to his room to give Marjorie a few minutes alone and honestly, he needed a minute to himself as well.

After getting cleaned up Marjorie curled up in bed, feeling absolutely drained. Hayley had left after making sure Marjorie was alright to talk to Klaus who had asked for her.

"Hey, you." Killian knocked on her door making Marjorie smile softly

"Hi." Marjorie said as Killian sat on the edge of her bed

"I won't stay for long, you need your rest. I just wanted to check on you, see with my own eyes that you're ok." Killian gently brushed the hair off her forehead

"I'm ok." Marjorie nodded, reaching up to grab his hand

"You scared the hell out of me. I never want to see you like that again, not breathing with blood all over your face." Killian clenched his jaw. "I only ever want to see you with that goofy grin on your face."

Marjorie grinned softly making Killian smile as he gently traced the apple of her cheek with his thumb.

"There it is, there's that smile." Killian winked and brought her hand up to his lips, placing a kiss on the back of it

"Thank you for being with me today." Marjorie said, as terrible as today was, knowing that Killian stayed by her side the whole time made her feel better

"I wouldn't dream of being anywhere else." Killian said before noticing as her eyes started drooping. "Get some rest. I'll see you in the morning."

"Ok. Good night." Marjorie mumbled as she started to feel the affects of her exhaustion

"Good night, baby." Killian spoke softly, leaning down to kiss her forehead before leaving the room

In the middle of the night Marjorie stirred in her sleep before blinking awake, she felt a weight on her hand making her furrow her brows as she looked over to the side.

Klaus was sitting in the chair at her bedside, holding her hand as he looked off out her balcony window lost in thought.

"Dad?" Marjorie groggily spoke making Klaus snap his head down to look at her

"Hey." Klaus said turning his full attention to her. "You ok?"

"Yeah. Are you?" Marjorie asked noticing his tired eyes

"I am now that you are. I was going to tell you in the morning but now that you're awake, I thought you'd like to know that Hayley has agreed to move back in with us." Klaus told her making Marjorie smile

"Did you show her the nursery?" Marjorie asked, she and Klaus had been working on the nursery for the baby for a couple of weeks

Marjorie had painted a bunch of stars on the ceiling so that the baby could look up at night and see the stars. While Klaus had chosen neutral flowered wall paper for the walls. There was a brown wooden crib in the middle of the room and sitting inside the crib was a stuffed teddy bear and a stuffed wolf.

They had been hoping that when Hayley would see the nursery she would realize how much effort Klaus had put into it and how much they all want her and the baby with them.

"I did. She loved it. Especially the stars you painted." Klaus said and Marjorie smiled

"Good, I'm glad." Marjorie nodded before noticing the thoughtful look on her dad's face. "What is it?"

"When you uh, when you were gone. You said you saw Mikael, what did he say to you?" Klaus hesitantly asked

Marjorie thought back to what had transpired during her standoff with Mikael, she remembered all of the terrible things he said about her dad and what would happen to Marjorie and the baby for as long as Klaus was in their life.

Telling him everything Mikeal said would do nothing but crush him, it would only cause unnecessary harm. Especially since everything he said was a lie, if Klaus has done anything during the time Marjorie has been with them he has shown her how much he loves her.

He is not the man Mikael described.

"Nothing that was true, all of it was bull crap and to try to taunt me. It didn't work because it was all lies." Marjorie firmly stated making Klaus look at her, searching for any sign of a lie

Finding none he nodded, accepting her answer.

"Go back to sleep, little pearl. You need your rest." Klaus kissed her forehead

"Will you stay with me, please?" Marjorie sheepishly asked, not wanting to be alone

"I'll be right here. I'm not going anywhere." Klaus promised and Marjorie nodded before allowing herself to fall back to sleep
