I didn't speak to anyone during the car trip, I was with my sister, Alice, and Jasper as they were taking us to the south, to lose James from tracking me and Bella.
The others were also keeping him on the loose, and I was thankful when I heard Esme stayed and watched over Dad.
I was still angry at what I had done to Dad, I couldn't bear to hear that he saw himself as not a good father to me and Bella. As I wished I said the right words to him during those times
I wish he knew how I feel.
When we arrived at a hotel in Phoenix. We headed out of the car I opened the trunk and grabbed my bag
" Do you need help? " I heard Jasper's voice ask.
I turned to him and gave him a small smile, shaking my head.
" no, it's alright... Has Carlisle called you yet? " I asked
and since Carlisle is away from me. I was also fearing for him, hoping that his safe
" No, but didn't worry too much. Carlisle can handle himself " He replies, as me and Bella headed inside with the couple.
After a while, we were spending our time inside the large hotel room
Until Alice started seeing visions, I immediately gave her a piece of paper and charcoal as her hands were quick to draw something that seemed familiar to me. I furrowed my eyebrow and stared down at the place she drew where Alice saw it's gonna lead James into it
" The Ballet Studio," I said.
Causing the both of them to stop and look up to me and my sister
" you've been here? " She asks, as Bella replies to her question.
We were little when Mom and Dad enrolled us in a ballet studio here in Pheonix
It took us a year of practice but since me and Bella we're not good at it, we quit
Bella's phone started ringing as she excused herself and headed inside the bathroom to have privacy. I let out a sigh as Alice and Jasper excused themselves out of the room, I nodded at them.
Knowing that the situation right now is getting stressful now that they lost track of James.
I walked out onto the balcony and slipped my phone out of its pocket, taking a deep breath as I began talking for a voicemail for Dad.
After a while, I sent him the voice messages and returned to the room. Then suddenly, something feels off
" Bella, Bella? Are you still inside? " I asked
and knocked on the bathroom door where I last saw her go in. But no one was answering which made me open the door by myself and see it was empty
" fuck " I cursed under my breath.
I looked around the room for her but Bella we nowhere to be found, I stopped in my tracks when I saw a note on the bed. It came from her, telling me she was going somewhere
I immediately rushed out of the room to find my sister.
She didn't know how in danger she could be right now that she was alone and did not know self-defense. I didn't mind telling Alice or Jasper as I exited the building and called a taxi.
Bella didn't tell me where she was going. But I know where
After half an hour, I was anxious. I promised Mom I would protect Bella and I didn't want my sister to be hurt when the car stopped at the place. I paid the driver and ran out as fast as I could
Not notice that my phone accidentally slipped out of my pocket and fell into the ground.
It was already night and dark, I ignored the feeling of cold as I burst the studio door open.
It shut behind me, I saw Bella lying on the floor behind a pillar. My eyes widened as I didn't hesitate to rush and help her
" S-Stella " her voice was weak, I kneeled on the ground and carefully held her.
" what happened? " I asked breathlessly
noticing the blood when she removed her hand from the back of her head. Before she could answer, I felt someone grabbed me from behind.
I was thrown across the room, my body landed on the hard floor with a thud.
I groaned in pain as I tried to get up, and then I heard a familiar, deep chuckle that sent shivers down my spine.
" Ahh, the older sister is here. This is getting more fun and fun than I expected "
I looked up and glared at James, he had that smirk on his face while holding Bella's cam recorder in his hand, filming me. I got up from the floor, ignoring the pain I had in my body
" you laid your hands on my sister " I growled.
He stopped in his tracks, looking amused as if he hadn't cast his eyes off me. James tilts his head
" so, what are you gonna do with it? Cry and scream for help? " He mocked
I felt anger rise in my chest. I opened my palm and without a second, a wood from the mirror cracked.
Causing James to snap his head from it. I extended my arm and threw the sharp wood at him using my gif. It went through his chest, causing him to scream in pain and fall directly to his knees.
The cam recorder fell from his hand I noticed Bella's eyes widen as she watched me.
" you're the only reason why my father said those painful words to himself, " I said while gritting my teeth.
Staring down at him with pure anger in my eyes
It took a second before James pulled the wood out from his chest, he screamed again and threw it away. Slowly standing from his feet, looking at me like he could kill in a second.
He had his strength back.
" what are you? " he asked angrily. Fisting his hand as James stood a few meters away from me
" do you even need to know? " I fired back.
He found my answer amusing and chuckled deeply. Then James uses his speed to knock me off the ground.
My eyes widen as he uses his one hand, wrapped around my neck, choking me onto the floor
" yeah, that's it. It's a shame you have to die first than your sister- but know I know, you two are the same! Weak and-! " before I could let him finish I threw a ball of energy at him causing James to fly across the room.
" B-Bella! We have to get you out of here! " I said worriedly and rushed back to my sister. But my heart stopped when I see Bella's not moving
Her eyes are closed and her body is limp.
" no no no. Open your eyes! " I shout, tapping her cheeks softly.
Then James grabbed my wrist before I could act. He sunk his teeth at my flesh. My eyes rolled in the back of my head as I screamed in excruciating pain
I tried to get him off me with my strength, but with each second that passed, his venom was quickly spreading inside of me.
James pulled away and laughed evilly. I step back, shaking while looking down at my wrist where he bit me.
My body was getting weaker and everything on me felt on fire, he thought I would let him finish
" I had enough " I hissed
I use my other hand to lift him in the air, glowing red mist spread at him as James screams In pain because of the pain I want him to feel. But his pain was also connected through me, I nearly fell to my knees
I wince and extend my other hand
"Please! Stop! " he shouts
" Now you know what it feels to beg " I whispered. And with one move of my hands, James' body completely came off into pieces
" Stella! "
I fell onto the floor, staring at the puzzling ceiling below me. While pain coming through in ever part of my body.
Blackness took over everything
